I attempted to visit this location 45 minutes before closing, but the doors were locked, and the open sign was on. Upon closer inspection, I saw customers still shopping inside. When another couple arrived, someone unlocked the door, and we followed them in. However, an older woman pulled the door until it was barely cracked and said they were closed. I explained that the store hours say they are open for another 45 minutes, but she claimed that they were slow and had to close. She also stated that the couple in front of us had entered on their own so that's why they could stay, which seemed unusual. This experience was the strangest I've ever had at a store, and I wouldn't recommend giving them your business. read more

Shop here on Jan 30 when I walked in there was a sign on carhartt pants on sale for 19.99 I picked up a few pairs and done some looking when I went to the register to check out the lady rung them up for 28.99 when I asked about the sign I was told she just took it down and there was nothing else she could do this is very unprofessional most place change there prices after they close or before they open not in the middle of the day when customers have already place the items in there carts this is false advertising and is illegal read more

Duncan's clothing outlet seems to be a Pigeon Forge / Sevierville exclusive since I'd never seen one before and I've travel most of the US with the exception of the North East. I really wish there were more of these stores around the country. I absolutely fell in love with the place. There are 4 of them around town, all on the main road which I believe they call the parkway. Duncan's seems to specialize in Levi's, Wranglers, and most excitingly Carhartt's. Now I really have no interest in Levi's or Wranglers, but I am a BIG fan of Carhartt workwear. Anyone who knows the Carhartt brand knows it is super expensive but it is worth it. Duncan's has the absolute best prices I've ever seen on carhartt clothes and outerwear. A Carhartt coat that will normally run you $120-$150 dollars anywear online or brick and mortar sells for $70 at Duncan's. How awesome is that! They have a really good selection of Carhartt items. All 4 stores seem to have the same merchandise, but sizes are varied throughout each store. The good thing is if you find a jacket you like in 1 store but they don't have your size, odds are they have it in stock at one of their other 3 locations. I visited all 4 stores recently and purchased well over $400 worth of clothes. They would have cost me at LEAST $1000 if not more had I bought them somewhere else. All in all if you wear Carhartt either because you like the items or by necessity you are doing yourself a disservice if you aren't shopping at Duncan's (as long as you are within driving distance or are vacationing in the smokies). read more

After driving two hours to shop, found some great deals however after driving back home I found that the security tags has been left in my Levi's... have repeatedly called the store with no answer and after leaving a message I haven't gotten a response. This place is horrible. The old lady that works there seems to be mad at the world. I asked for help with finding my size jacket. She replied with if it's not out there they don't have it. I went to another location in which she arrived shortly after. I ended up purchasing a jacket walked out the store while putting on the jacket realized I got the wrong size went right back in and asked to exchange for my size. The old lady said sure after 15 mins of telling me why she couldn't exchange it. I payed the exact same jacket just a bigger size down to exchange, she looked at them and said I was not going to pull a fast one on her. Turns out the xl that I wanted was actually $25 cheaper than the exact jacket in a large. She said she wasn't giving me a dime back. I then called the police and they stated they couldn't force store to give refund that I would have to take to court. WORD TO THE WIZE YOUR MUCH BETTER OFF JUST TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR THE REAL DEAL AT TRACTOR SUPPLY. If it were anyone but us tourest shopping these jerks would not be in business. What a way to loose what would have been a life long customer over $25 bucks. Ps to the hateful old lady that stuck to her guns on this thievery you should slow down maybe start treating us like other human beings. You'll sleep much better and live a much happier life I promise. As for me I'll just chalk this off as my $85 stupid tax and try and enjoy my jacket that's a little too small for me. read more

Shoppers beware, customers are not allowed to use the restrooms in the store. Staff will direct you to the Pilot Gas Station 3 blocks away if you need to use the facilities. Staff claims there are no bathrooms in the building (they're located in the back right had corner), and smile when they're explaining that the Pilot station is a "quick walk" from the store. Against codes in Sevier County, they are required to provide restrooms and they have to be handicapped accessible. This is extremely inconvenient when shopping with children and elderly. I was shopping with an elderly family member and we needed a bathroom. The woman behind the counter eating a cupcake was quick to tell us that they didn't have any bathrooms in the store and we could walk to the Pilot gas station. So, we did, but not before dropping over $300 in Carhartt stuff on the floor and walking out. Phone calls to a district manager were apparently not enough as on a second trip to their store, I know, shame on us, we were told again there were no bathrooms. Letters and calls to Duncan's corp yielded no apologies, explanations, or available bathrooms for customers. On our second trip, I did buy some second quality Levis, prices ok, first quality Levis are cheaper in other stores. The Carhartt stuff is hit or miss, prices ok, selection limited. In checking out, the 2 women behind the counter appeared very indifferent, never spoke to me, put my jeans in a bag and slid the bag across the counter without a word.
