I stumbled upon Earthbound Trading Company while exploring The Island of Pigeon Forge. The entrance called to me, I like what I like and they had a lot of it! Earthbound is kind of a modern granola hippie witchy shop. Some things are affordable, most things aren't. I bought a few bottles of essential oil but after browsing the clothing and getting sticker shock, I decided to stop looking around. The oils and incense are very reasonably priced. However, if you're wanting a Baja hoodie (you know the other name), you're looking at spending over $80 on one here. The store is nice and there's a lot to see. However, some things are just way overpriced. read more

This location is smaller on the island at Pigeon Forge. Seems to be closed early too. The rock and crystal wire trees on the front table caught my eye, they are similar to the ones my parents have at home and they have a few of them too. The store has all sorts of stones and crystals. The plug-in Himalayan salt lamps and an assortment of dream catchers. read more

I felt my wallet get lighter, the moment I stepped in to this heavenly store! Even more lethal to my pocketbook was the extremely helpful and fun sales people working. My daughter and I both tried on many outfits and then went a little overboard matching up jewelry to our new outfits. Jewelry was B1G1 half off, and they had a fantastic selection of celestial heavenly pieces to choose from. Their clothing selection is absolutely drool worthy for a couple hippies like us. They also had so many unique and intriguing gifts throughout the store. Everything from spell books to macrame hangers and cat themed gifts. My daughter was so in love with one of her new ensembles, she asked to wear it out of the store. The gal helping us gladly helped her get rid of all her tags and bag up the clothing she wore in. She then made my husband cry and told me about a location they have close to home, in Indiana. read more

Not unlike your typical mall hippie store, smoke accessories and lots of hemp clothing, lotion, incense and candles. What's funny about a lot of these shops is that they're corporate entities carrying the same mass produced wares. Stone candles, geodes, jewelry, etc it's all the same stuff just rebranded with a slightly different names. The Chinese made Djembe and other hand percussion instruments are a dead give away. None of these are very functional and are cheaply made. The entire store and wares smacks of trying too hard to be cool. The staff at this store and others like it are the only refreshing experience when visiting, most are very helpful and interested in their products, albeit the products are the real weak points, I've had pleasant interactions here. Too bad original stores with more original wares are not in the place of stores like this. I'd come here for some novelty gifts but nothing more. You can't stick it to the man when you work for the man. read more

I'm so happy I don't live anywhere near one of these stores because my, oh, my, I would be broke. This store is my heaven. It has all of the hippie products you never knew you needed in your life! From backpacks, crystals, tarot cards, incense, essential oils, clothes, jewelry, candles, and everything in between, my hippie soul fell in love. This particular location made me even happier upon finding out that all of their clearance items were an additional 50% off! I was able to find some major steals on carrier oils that were easily 1/4 of what the normal price is at other places/sites. Definitely check this place out - there's something for everyone and has quickly become one of my favorite stores (luckily they have a website). read more

This store makes my heart, soul and even pocket book happy. Not only are most of their products fair trade and eco friendly, but they even carry products for your pooch! Every time we are in Gatlinburg I always stop by and get something for my doggies, be it fair trade treats, eco friendly toy or a new unicorn costume! Be sure to take advantage of their clearance items in the back that are often are buy one get one free and the selection is always phenomenal! The goods they sell are all high quality from their clothing items to their essential oils. I was thrilled to see Wyndmere Natural Oils in Stock and a large selection. Is it pricey? Yeah I guess a little, but it is filled with the most amazing stuff. I don't have one near my home, so I make a point to visit every time I am in Gatlinburg... usually multiple times per trip. I LOVE this store. The clothing is wonderful, I usually shop the clearance racks in the back. They have a great selection of jewelry, and just all kinds of fun stuff. There is another one located at the Island in Pigeon Forge, however I think this location is bigger and has more stuff. read more

I love this little Gatlinburg gem. Between all the tourist kitsch, it is easy to miss, but is so unlike any of the surrounding stores on the strip. I love checking out the sale section and stock up on the past season's clothes and jewelry. My most recent found treasure was a hand carved and gilded jewelry box that folds up like a book. Marked down to $7 each, I ended buying four for gifts! read more

My soul was so pleased to finally get away from the souvenir shops and Moonshine establishments that line this part of town. They are quite expensive on some of their products but it's all quality made and eco friendly. I love the little sale area when the holidays roll around. Signage is my favorite and I've bought my Himalayan Salt lamps from this location (which do wonders all on their own), a beautiful hamsa mosaic, jewelry boxes, and oils. It's an extremely nice get away from the tourism of the streets, with a cozy vibe and welcoming staff. Definitely stop by and get you something funky! read more

This is truly one of my favorite stores of all time. I first discovered it in Myrtle Beach, and then found out they had one in Gatlinburg and was ecstatic. They are a bit pricey, I will admit. They really are quite expensive on some things, but there is almost always a sale going on. I love that they have so many hippie-like and buddhist/hindu products. I'm into all of that stuff so this store is just perfect for me. I also love all of their masquerade masks and Alice in Wonderland stuff. They have super cute clothes too! read more

This store is great! They have so any cute outfits and decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. Their dressing rooms were roomy and tidy. After checking out they even offered to hold my items so I could get my car and and get them later so I wouldn't have to walk the strip with all my purchases.
