Let me set the record straight: this is my Publix. I may have temporarily stepped out and visited another location (Bradley Park ), but Publix on Schomburg is still home. This store is always clean, well-stocked, and busy for all the right reasons. The customer service is consistently on point, and the staff keeps things running smoothly while still being friendly and helpful. And the catering and sandwiches? Absolute MVPs. Hands down the best subs and catering around. Whether it's a quick lunch or feeding a whole group, this location never misses. If you like waiting then this store is for you. I've preordered everything from lunch meat to subs and prescriptions. Their favorite thing is to not have anything ready at the time you were supposed to pick up. Then you're behind the entire line already waiting. I don't know why I continue to do it. I just keep hoping that maybe one time the items will be ready. I have two toddlers, which is why I preorder. I really love listening to them scream while I have to wait for my items I've preordered. If only there was an option to prevent that. Oh wait there is. I'd give ZERO stars if I could. read more

disappointed with their pharmacy messages. they don't put any info about your prescription except the price. sometimes I will get various meds from different doctors on auto fill but Publix does not out the name or abbreviations on their message. you need to call which is not always handy. also, to my dismay and disappointment, the bottles Publix uses for their prescriptions are NOT recyclable! before COVID, one could bring the bottle back for recycling but that is over. but I bring all my plastics to be recycled, but their bottles are not recyclable!! since they have recycle bins in front of their store, I would think they would be more considerate to our environment. for the rest: Publix is always clean and the personnel are friendly and helpful. thank you. read more

Just moved to this area and been to this store 3 times. Two of the three times was not good. Thought I would try Publix even though I know they are a little higher priced. Today was the last straw. I'm headed back to Winn-Dixie. Deli department was understaffed with everyone running around without their heads. I just left and went to the checkout and informed the lady the Deli department was really struggling.....she told me she was glad she wasn't working back there. LOL. Good Bye Publix. read more

I really like shopping at this area. I actually shop here more so than I do at the Commissary at Benning purely because of the convenience and superior experience. It is smaller so they don't necessarily have "everything" and it's a bit more expensive than the Commissary, but the excellent customer service and proximity to my apartment complex trumps any benefit the Commissary offers. I highly recommend this super market. This is definitely one of the few places I'll miss when I PCS. read more

Publix, as a chain, is higher-priced than other grocery stores, though their selection is the same. The store is really clean, inside & out, and the staff is beyond friendly & helpful. They're the best location for anyone East of Veterans Parkway, but they're worth the drive from anywhere. Plus, they have a great rewards-card system, donating money to the school of your choice! With exception to the Fort Benning Commissary, this Publix is the best choice. read more

I love this store, great customer service, great subs as well. If any of you out there know about awesome Wegmans subs back north, let me tell you, these are just as awesome! Great bread, and they are so big, you can def split between two people or make two meals from a whole sub. There are some issues with this store; the selection can be limited. I've left twice not finding what I was looking for. Again, the service here just can't be beat; I've had managers walk me to items I couldn't find. read more

Publix Pharmacy is amazing. My insurance is making me change to cvs. Cvs is terrible and never ceases to disappoint. Cvs advised they had to order my prescription . I waited two days..sent to different locations only to be told there inventory was not correct and it never came. This medicine I can not miss a dose. Just by chance I call my Publix and as always they went way out of there way to help.. The Pharmacist tracked down the prescription and filled it within 1 hour. He also explained my insurance can no longer make me use CVS. read more

My husband and I love this Publix! We live very close so we've gotten spoiled. From the moment you walk in its a pleasant experience! Everyone smiles and says hello. Not sure why this would be important when you buy groceries but hey it makes a difference! The store is very clean and well stocked, not to mention the fact that I love to buy their brand. Sometimes it's tastier than actual higher end brands and it's cheaper. All the employees ask if they can help you find something and they'll stop what they're doing and even go get it for you! I stopped by this morning for some snacks. The cashier and bagger were super friendly. My bagger was a young man with glasses. His smile was infectious and he gave me a hug at the end of the transaction. I needed that hug today... thank you sir! read more

This store is great! They have a large selection, organic produce and meats (including grass fed beef), and fresh fish. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. The only downside is they are a bit more expensive than other produce stores. read more

I just moved here, and am not used to the over-the-top service that Publix offers! I never find myself searching for a staff member to help locate an item, the bagging service is extremely helpful when you take 2 small children shopping, and they are constantly offering helpful information to make the shopping experience more enjoyable. Yes, the prices are a little higher, but I feel that you pay for quality when shopping at Publix. read more
