First of all, I love the store. This review is specifically about the deli. 3 people behind the counter bumping into each other, reaching around each other, not listening to customers instructions, not making the "special" sandwich according to directions plainly listed on the card, and SLOW, SLOW, SLOWER THAN SLOW. More than once I have left the line after waiting way too long just to get something from the frozen section and cook it at home. Way faster than having to put up with sub-par service and bad attitudes. read more

I really love this Publix, but when yesterday me and my parents ordered a cake for her birthday, and we made the flavor marble, and when we picked it up, we still thought it was marble. But when it was time to cut the cake, we sliced it open and guess what? It was a vanilla cake. The purple icing tasted like some kind of chemical, and the inside of the cake was really rough and crummy. I will never forgive this Publix for this. read more

Shut Up!!! Yes I'm reviewing a Publix. My review is based on one item. "Red Lexia", it's probably the only red or semi-red wine I can drink without suffering from a major migrane the next day. Apparently this is the only store in Atlanta that sales 'Red Lexia" So basically I give this store 5 stars for carrying my red wine...oh and I guess the service and store appearance could have something to do with a few of the stars ;-) read more

They earned one star because of their own wonderful meat department. Now, their Deli for prepared foods is alway slow. You'd think with Covid-19 they wouldn't want extremely long lines. If you are handicapped or have standing for long periods of time, their Deli is not the place for you. read more

I cheated on this publix. I went out of my delivery area and picked up my groceries. I regretted not going to this publix because their subs are good. The bread is fresh and the veggies crisp. I just opened the sub. I trust this publix and know that they demand excellence so I'm not eating wondering if my food has been taken back. read more

The employees are mostly gossiping to one another and will keep you in mind when you're one to point out errors and make returns. They can change policy on you because you're a "regular customer." The footlong sub sandwiches are LESS than a foot buy actually ten inches and often hard to chew and will scrape your mouth. The meat on these footlong subs vary to three total slices to what it's suppose to be. No one will give you a definite answer on the number of meat slices. The baggers will put fragile items with heavy items and cold items with room temperature items, and rarely double bag. The majority of the employees are in cliques and will watch your shopping habits and interaction with others only to gather information about you as if you're causing problems. I do wonder if my skin color was pink would my experiences been better. The managers here lie, lie, lie and don't last long. Rules about the deli items change like the days of the week. For example, you get a free tub of nasty tasting dressing with a made-to-order salad but often the dressing will get scanned and you'll have to pay for it. The fried chicken pieces including tenders are often chewy and under battered. I advise chew and taste your food. I did have a bad tasting experience with their fried chicken that was spoiled before it was cooked. If you're male with brown skin, you may get nasty looks and bad attitudes from some of the female employees, especially if they know that you've complained about something or someone. The composition of the employees are mostly of teens, thirty- something and higher and plus a few work-release workers. The Publix slogan, "where shopping is a pleasure," doesn't apply here unless you feel differently. I've had some good experiences, very few where I received help as I shopped even when I'm on the same aisles as the employees. Really too many bad and nonchalant attitudes. read more

It's important to look at reviews. EVERYTIME I come into this Publix I'm always disappointed at the service that is rendered. The Deli never has structure, their extremely slow, and have attitudes. Ghetto ass publix . In a bad neighborhood and they stalking customers really annoying shopping experience. Myeisha was following me around the frozen section and then when I started following her she worked at customer service and can't count . I won $3 dollar in lottery tickets and purchased something for $6 I asked how much I owed she said $6 I just looked at her like u following me around and can't count I'm making a complaint about her lol ... "Where shopping is NOT a pleasure." After 4-5 years of shopping at this location, I am now classified as a "Regular Customer" by a percent of the staff that see me every now and then, and honestly, I can't tell if they mean it in a good way or a bad way. But I'm no fool; it's obviously profiling, and negative. I try not to intimidate anyone with my boyish looks and muscular profile. I try to be friendly and social, and smile! But in the end, I think I'm fooling myself. :( My favorite spot of the store is the deli. When there's a good sale on a sub sandwich, etc., you can bet that I'll be there! As for the rest of the store, they have an abundance of convenient items at reasonable pricing for this location. It's local and convenient. A- (It's in a bad area) I digress... As I said, the deli is (often) my favorite, but tonight was different...my lust for subs agitated the lady who was fixing my large order of them, and after some time, she was kind enough to let me know I was holding up the line. She wanted to tackle my order solo vs asking her co-workers to help. That would've sped that all up, but the pressure got to her, and I understand it's a high demand, stressful job. but you have'ta keep your professionalism and get through it, but NOOO...And no, the large order wasn't out of spite. All Hell was breaking loose, and the other staffers were glancing at me with the intent to kill o_o It was getting ugly, and my back was itching...she "jokingly" let her co-workers know she'll be there til closing. Honey, if you don't like your job, please, fill in the blank _____ (answer: LEAVE) Without your customers - especially 'Mr. Regular' here - NONE OF YOU WOULD HAVE A JOB! Hear me people! I tried their online ordering once (3 years ago), but that was a disaster!! That order looked like Al-Qaeda hit it with all their might! Since then, I ~CHOSE~ to be upfront while my food is being made, so I can have the liberty to say "No" and "Yes" and select a decent (soft) roll. How you order - online or in-store - is a matter of preference and to the customer's discretion! From now on, I will likely be placing my orders solely through the Deli Manager, whom I had the pleasure of speaking with after I left the store ;) Her personality and presence is wonderful, bubbly, warm, and enjoyable--all that good stuff. My subs are sitting adjacent to me as I cannot stomach to digest them after this awful experience. I have 3+ years of rude Deli experience under my belt from this location. I won't give them higher because for some reason Publix will not carry fat free cheese. Someone said the store was in the ghetto, I don't understand that it's in the midst of 200,000 and up homes. The store is good, employees are pleasant and helpful. I'm in there every day. read more

The pharmacy is favorite place to visit, Robby and Bobby the pharmacists always great me by name. They make me feel like family and the pharm techs are just as nice. Grocery shopping there is easy and they always have the items I need in stock. read more

I have been going to this Publix since I moved to Georgia, over 15 years ago and I have never had a problem there, which is remarkable. They are courteous. They don't allow their employees to work with their pants down their asses like Walmart does. When they ring up a wrong price, you get it free. With Walmart, you get an attitude because they have to actually work to go check the price and when they're wrong, no apologies. Since Walmart decided to stop price matching the BOGO, I barely go there anymore because Publix's BOGO sales make them lower than Walmart. I just had an issue where their cash register when down after I swiped my card and they thought it didn't take so I swiped again. Turns out I was charged twice. As soon as I brought it to their attention, not only was I credited back, but I received a $20 gift card for my problems. Never get that from Walmart. I will never stop shopping at this Publix. They are courteous, professional, and go out of their way to treat their customers with respect. read more
