Plenty of parking at this Plantation Publix. Came here to cash my FL Lotto tickets and of course browse the coffee deals. BOGO deals on Dunkin' Iced Coffee. The bakery and deli area was organized and they offer a private section for eating or just to relax near the entrance. Clean store with friendly front end staff.

Poor execution of $50 cupcakes. Very disappointing

$50 for alligator cupcakes and it looks nothing like what I ordered. it's cupcakes. they literally had to lay out the same thing as the picture. looks like a shit frog with long tail that it's eating or something

I had one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with catering at this Publix location. I placed an order on April 8th for a birthday celebration--3 medium trays of chicken tenders, 3 trays of classic trio sliders, and a cake--scheduled for pickup on April 12th at 11:00am. At 11:02am (yes, after my scheduled pickup time), I received a call from the Catering Manager, Lisa, informing me that they couldn't make the sandwiches because they didn't have the bread. No warning, no plan B, and no attempt at a resolution. Just: "We don't have it." I showed up at 11:04am to try to understand what happened and why I wasn't contacted earlier in the morning--7 or 8am at the latest (since this is when they open) so we could change to a different sandwich option. This is a grocery store, so how is there no bread in stock for deli sandwiches? And how does a manager not realize until pickup time that an order can't be fulfilled? After voicing my concerns and receiving a generic apology, I told them I'd return at 11:30am and expected the order to be ready. That's when they finally decided to walk into the grocery section to get the bread and make the sandwiches--something that could've easily been done much earlier. Because of their lack of communication and poor planning, I didn't leave the store until noon and ended up being over an hour late to my husband's birthday event. Not only was it stressful, it was completely avoidable. If you're considering using Publix catering, do not use this location. The unprofessionalism and lack of urgency were extremely disappointing--especially on a day that was supposed to be special. Never again!

Nice, large clean Publix in the Plantation area at the Market on University shopping mall. As I approached the parking lot, I saw a Publix employee. He acknowledged me as I was slowly driving in front of the store. I motioned for him to cross first, which he motioned for me to go....Just from that first experience, I can say the inside staff was also very friendly and personable. I went to get a few items that I wanted to get and the store was very bright, clean and nicely organized. A pleasure to shop in here.

Closest Publix to where I live and let me say that honestly compared to many others in the area, this one stands out 110%. I won't go out of my way if I need anything at Publix and I am in the area, to get to this location. The staff is always friendly and the shelves are always stocked with the items I need. It is always great when I go in and the items I need are buy one get one free or buy two get one free. What's cool is this location has a cooking Studio that you can pay a little fee, when I say little I mean roughly $40 or more depending on the food that they are cooking, and a professional chef will guide you through everything and how to make the dish in question during the cooking event! Some even include wine to sip while you cook and they are very insightful! Their Deli always has friendly faces and I never wait longer than a few minutes to get the items that I need, they are always cut fresh and delivered to me almost instantaneously it seems like. I will definitely come to this location 9 out of 10 times, the one is if I am in another state! Lol!

Giant nasty flying insect on Publix made Boris Head Turkey salad from the deli. Absolutely disgusting! The location could not find an incident forum for me to fill out. I had to provided my details on blank printer paper. A refund was provided but nothing was done to keep me a Publix customer.

I usually go to WinnDixie but Publix was on the right side of the road this day so I ended up at Publix. The parking was plentiful and they were wiping down carts in front of the store and were wearing masks and gloves. Inside I would say it is a smaller Publix however it was fairly well stocked and very clean and fresh smelling. They had the floor marked for social distancing and appear to be in compliance with all Covid19 regulations. They had everything I needed and check out was smooth with a 5 minute line. They have up plastic barriers at checkout and the checkout person also was wearing a mask and gloves and cleaned the belt between ever customer. I would definitely recommend this Publix for the reasons above plus all the staff was really nice and helpful. You can tell they are happy to be open!

5 stars because Publix really does go above beyond with customer service . I'm always here for subs and never disappointed other than long lines for sandwiches. The quality of food is always good for grab and go .

I decided to order lunch online since they had the $5.99 sub special until September 26th. I haven't ordered online in a very long time and found that this was very easy and convenient. My only mistake was noticing I forgot to order tomatoes and once I went to the cashier to pay Neil suggested I ask for tomatoes on the side. I quickly went to ask for tomatoes from the deli and they gave me more than four slices which was very gracious. Thanks Neil. This is a great Publix next to my job with some items you won't find at every other Publix. I also noticed that they have a schedule of cooking classes and I thought I might take a picture to share with fellow yelpers and customers in case they are interested. I may take one myself. I find this Publix very clean. The deli and bakery are quick. Especially if you just order a sub online and it tells you the time it will be ready.

Made with love!! This is what I'm talking about!

The small deli/restaurant is mainly for take out, but they do have a couple tables inside. We chose to order here and eat at one of the tables. We got a chance to chat with the owner. We got a friendly welcome. She was quite sweet. When we asked, she told us that Goldy was her sister who had passed away. The restaurant was named after her. In addition to the menu on the counter, they have a blackboard with various featured items -- including soups of the day -- and specials. They use Board Head meats which you can see in the case. We both ordered their Italian sub, but I made a few changes to mine leaving out the ham and the capicola. The bread was soft and went well with all the meats, cheeses, and veggies. It was an excellent sandwich. We each ate half (the sandwich was stuffed with stuff) and took half home. We were talking about other options that they have when the owner mentioned various desserts -- including banana pudding. She mentioned that it's quite popular and sells out often, but she just happened to have some ready. This is my husband's favorite dessert. He couldn't resist getting a container of it. He took a few tastes there and devoured the rest at home. This place is definitely worth a return visit. And if you're looking for a good sub/hero/sandwich, etc. it makes a perfect lunch stop -- to eat in or to go. I'm so glad we tried them.

Unfortunately, I waited approx. 30 minutes for my order. The restaurant was practically empty, so I was surprised by how long it took to prepare. On a positive note, the lady working at the front was incredibly sweet and apologetic about the wait. She consistently checked in with me, letting me know how much longer it would take. I genuinely appreciated her communication and kindness throughout the experience. Unfortunately, the food itself was another disappointment. I was expecting it to be worth the wait, but it fell short. There also wasn't much chicken, and the wrap had an overwhelming amount of dressing and heavy croutons. My total came to approximately $20. Overall I give it 3 stars

My husband and I went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was busy but were able to get a table right away. I love all things Halloween so I was really excited that it was decorated for Halloween. Our server, Raul came over with menus and shortly afterwards came over to get our order. I ordered the corned beef hash and my husband ordered the Reuben with fries. We also just had to try the potato pancakes/latkes so we ordered a side of them which consisted of two small potato pancakes. The food arrived pretty quickly and I was shocked at the portion size of my hash and eggs. I had enough for breakfast the next day which I enjoyed just as much. It was delicious but not made in the usual hash way with the meat and potatoes all mixed up together. This was more like a potato cake topped with corned beef and served with some slices of corned beef on the side. Different but delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Reuben and said it was one of the best he's ever eaten. The potato pancakes were great, perfectly crispy on the outside with nice fluffy potatoes on the inside. They were served with applesauce and sour cream in the side. Our server Raul was great, he gave us exceptional service without being too intrusive and he boxed up and bagged our leftovers and even gave us a couple of fresh iced teas to go. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other menu items!

My cousin from Miami recommended this place near Downtown FTL so I had to try it. We went for breakfast, but they are now open for dinner - but certain days/time, I'd double check. It's a cute, quaint, and more upscale deli than I'm used to but that only made me more excited. I was also very hungry. In true Yelp fashion, I looked this place up before we went and from the pictures, the portions looked huge, so my cousin and I split everything. But don't be fooled, we still ended up each getting an entree, and finishing everything. Like I said, hungry. Before I go on, the servers were great, nice, and the culture seems very accommodating because they kept explaining that we can mix and do plenty substitutions with our orders. It was really nice and refreshing for someone who wants to try a little bit of everything as much as possible. I ordered the Grand Schlam - which is like basic breakfast plate: a protein, egg, carb, and side. I ended up getting scrambled eggs, no cheese, the maple sausages, it comes with a Latke, and I choose the tomatoes with the basil oil as my side. Delicious. Eggs portion for the prices, amazing! The Latke was so yummy and perfect size. 2 maple sausages, not too sweet, which I like. And the star was fer sure the tomatoes with basil oil because it was refreshing with the savory egg and sausage combo. We also split the Corned Beef Hash - a popular dish there. It is a very large portion. My cousin finished most of it but only because I had some of it also. It comes with slices of corned beef, and shreds of corned beef on top of the hash, with eggs, and a side. And my dear cousin got a croissant as a side so he could make a freakin corned beef hash croissant sandwich. I mean is he my cousin or what. Anyways, it was amazing. The corned beef was perfectly cooked and not overly salty which was great. Then, we shared a Blueberry Pancake, amazing. Will definitely come back. They have the largest cookies I have ever seen. And I'm also interested in their dinner options too. Lovely gem!

Ordering online was easy, and pickup itself was quick and straightforward. However, when I got home, I realized that both tuna platters were missing the bagel chips--so essentially I paid $17 each for just two scoops of tuna. I called the restaurant and was told they were out of bagel chips. That explanation raised more questions than it answered. If an item is unavailable, why not notify the customer? A quick call, or even mentioning it at pickup, would have gone a long way. I would have happily substituted for a bagel or chosen something else. Instead, I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant. By that point, I was understandably frustrated, and the response at the counter didn't help--the staff seemed indifferent. They did replace the missing items with bagels, which I appreciate, but the overall experience was disappointing. I used to really enjoy Marian's under the previous ownership and was a regular customer. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, the quality of service seems to have declined. We decided to give it another try, but this experience confirmed that it's just not worth it anymore. Disappointing, because this used to be a go-to spot.

The ordering was simplified by a chart on the front counter which depicted a classic Philly Cheesesteak with sizes outlined at 5" 8" 10" and the behemoth 18" which was the best size vs price at $22.49. They cut the sandwich in half, which was plenty of food for me and the wife. We chose the optional green and red wet peppers. Took a nice pic of the Philly creation on the sizzling flat grill. We took a seat and waited about five minutes for this beautiful Philly to arrive at our table, served by the chef which was a nice touch. The Philly was absolutely amazing. The meat was cut thin and retained the perfect amount of juice surrounded by the gooey cheese. The red peppers were spicy so buyer beware. This was a top 3 Philly for me. The only issue was the door to the men's bathroom would not lock and the women's bathroom did not have toilet paper, although both very clean.
