Our family has been shopping at this Publixs store since 1994. It been a pleasure to meet all the staff, especially the management team. Good food, reasonably priced, good service. The deli makes very tasty subs, has a selection of sides, the lobster bisk is out of this world! Plums, apples, basically all their fruit is fresh. The gentleman outside with the carts, is very helpful, he bring me if he see us, the electric vehicle that I as an prosthetic man needs to go shopping on. This is my go to Publix for everything even though I have one closer but I just love the Miami Lakes location. It's always well stocked and everyone is friendly and helpful. I've been shopping at this Publix for years and spending hundreds of dollars each week. The quality of the deli and bakery items are terrible. Deli sandwiches soggy and expired, cookies burnt, muffins missing from the packs, croissants don't exist anymore, and the staff is extremely unfriendly. I have found that other Publix nearby have friendly staff and fresh food. I do not recommend this Publix and will not waste my time or my money on poor quality service and products. read more

Well, I like shopping at this location but I came here at six minutes after 10 PM and i get one of the staff calling me from across the parking lot putting his hand across his throat signaling me that they are closed so I informed him that it says that this location is open till 11 PM. He said he understands and they've been closing at 10 PM since 2020. So apparently they've known this since 2020 and still have not made any changes to it , which is terrible because I had to go out of my way, getting up calling an Uber to get here to pick up things for tomorrow only to be told they are closed. read more

A very nice spacious clean Publix. They always have a great selection for chefs ..I always find what I want in there, especially if I am wanting speciality items for recipes. They stock mango chutney, mint sauce for example, whereby these items are always hard to find here in Miami. I am local, so I should pop in more! read more

Overall I had a great experience here. I was in the area and googled to see where was the nearest Publix and this one popped up. I was super excited about this because I like to discover new locations! I just love Publix period and my son loves Publix locations that has the race car carts. It is the highlight of the grocery shopping trip for him. So this one had the race car carts; major plus! Store itself was clean and it was big and we all know that I love locations that are big because that means more shelf space! This location had everything that I needed and more. I didn't run into much staff so I cannot speak on that. My cashier however seemed a little eager to get folks out of his line. He wasn't the warmest person. He was younger and I find that younger cashiers (well some) are more concerned with getting you out of their line than customer service. Older cashiers have more customer involvement. I went to pick up some Holiday cookies and cupcakes for a party. To my surprise, there weren't any on display by the bakery or anywhere else in the store; even though, some of the holiday items that I was looking for were part of their weekly ad. When I asked the bakery lady, she told me in Spanish and very displeasingly, "What we have is what we have and we're waiting for the truck to arrive and we don't have anything you're looking for" and she dismissed me to speak to another customer. Spoke to Octavio the manager which he in turn spoke to the bakery mgr. Both were apologetic about the lady's lack of assistance. The bakery mgr. went to see if she could get me the holiday decorated cupcakes that I was looking for and I had found at another Publix. She came back and told me that they didn't have any cupcakes with Christmas colors but they could make them for me; they only had white ones...what, it's Christmas...! So, I told her "it's not about the Christmas colors only; they needed to have the Christmas toppers too" - which she told me that she didn't have any. I told both Octavio and the bakery mgr. - "What's the point of having these items on the weekly ad and not have them on display at your store. We're right before the holidays and everyone is having some sort of gathering and you don't have anything in the store related to Christmas on display" -- It was absurd. I ended buying the holiday cookie box that's found everywhere - Walmart, Target... Then I went to pay and the unfriendly cashier couldn't be bothered to say hello to me much less have a great day. BUT, she did manage to make fun with another cashier in front of me about a manager that seemed to have been either looking for something or lost in some sort of way. I couldn't believe the lack of respect by these 2 cashiers towards the manager that passed by, the customer (me) that was hearing the conversation and the overall blatantly lack of respect for the mgr. that was not of their ethnicity. It does seem that the slogan "Where shopping is a pleasure" only pertains to certain stores and it is no longer the norm for all the Publix stores. Some store managers excel at their positions so much that their stores exceed customers' expectations and satisfaction. It is obvious that this store mgr. needs more training in all his managerial skills given that it has trickled down to other managers and staff. read more

Three special cake orders in a row within a 3 month time span and somehow they managed to never have platic knives to cut the cakes. Publix is losing it's class as well as customer service. This Publix is NOT properly enforcing COVID-19 protocols. There are so many customers with masks below their noses and no employees are telling them anything! They are putting "customer service" above public safety. If their staff are hesitant to reprimand customers individually (which they shouldn't be), they should at least have over-head speaker instructions to help enforce social distancing and proper mask-wearing, like other grocery stores do. read more

I am a long time Miami Lakes resident and Publix shopper for over 25+ years. What a terrible experience at Deli counter and at Sandwich/Hot food station I had to endure today. I went in for my regular groceries but did not pre order as usual. I was prepared to wait as I was 2nd in line and and could have my kids get other items from our list. What a big mistake thinking it would be so easy. They should have the staff to serve customers effectively if they want to prioritize on line orders. There should be more than one person at Deli helping physical customers. Also, have a manager(blonde female) that does more than give excuses someone will be there to help when there are three of you behind counter doing online orders. Makes no sense. Then as I need hot food from the case next to Sandwich station, I have to wait again for that single person making them to finish a person came up and asked for something in case and lady looks at me and tells me to wait. Then when its my turn another customer walks up and other employee is ready to give her all the chicken tenders. The same item I am waiting to get my person to give me. Crazy! Needless to say a waste of 30 minutes standing in two lines only to be ignored "Twice". It was almost a two hour adventure. They need a better way of helping physical customers unable to use on line ordering which eases pain of waiting even longer for one item. I am beginning to realize that going up north of where I live has been a good thing. The other day, I dropped my daughter off at work in Miami Lakes, and seeing traffic on Palmetto being ridiculous at 8:30AM I figured since I was going grocery shopping I should just stay in the area until traffic died down. I trekked over to this Publix to do some shopping for the holidays. Parking was a dream, but then again by then it was just before 9am. I walked in and was surprised at the amount of people already shopping. This place is beyond huge. I was astounded at the sheer size of this store. The produce section was perfect. It was large, well stocked and had anything and everything I needed. All employees were sweet and would acknowledge with a good morning. I felt special. The rest of the store was just as complete, and then it hit. I saw the gift area. Yes! It has a gift area! The area alone is the size of my living , dining and kitchen. Seriously! They have cards, colognes, purses - anything you might need as you remember that you forgot that little something for the person in the office on their birthday! Oh yes did I mention the wine section is also super huge? Very inviting. Makes me seriously want some vino. Kudos, shopping really was a pleasure here. I couldn't have left happier. I am sure this place must get packed because there were plenty of traffic inside at that time. I can't say if it is or not, my experience was perfect. read more

I usually place orders through the Shipt app and this store is the worst. They are always out (or do not carry?) of organic produce available at other locations nearby. Overall, their selection of healthy and organic options is poorer than other locations. In addition, they are always running out of their own Publix Greenwise brand beef and poultry. Staff is nice and location is convenient, it's just a shame store selection is continually so poor. read more

This is our neighborhood Publix and we love it and do pretty much all of our shopping here. And the pharmacy is the BEST! They've always been so helpful. I am glad I can depend on them. My only complaint about this Publix would be the deli. For example, there's always a huge line for sandwiches/hot food and probably only one employee working. It's tough. I feel like I always end up waiting forever at the deli - much longer than it takes me to do my groceries. We have started ordering at the beginning of our visit and then just picking it up at the end. Haven't had an issue with that so far. read more

There are three Publix Super Markets in my area, this has to be the best one out of the bunch, their deli department is top notch, extra-large and have enough personnel to handle several customers. Their vegetable and fruit section is also above average, several fresh fruits and vegetables. In addition they have several tropical fruits from Hispanic countries that are typically hard to find in other supermarkets, it's a signature staple, Publix Super Markets are deeply ingrained in the community and always attempt to cater to the diversity and different cultures in South Florida. One of the things I enjoy about this location is the meat department, they carry many different types of cuts, In addition if you're looking for something smaller, they will break up a bigger package for you and place it in a smaller package for lower the price. He also have a large selection in lamb which is a favorite of mine and turkey. Once again many different cuts of many different types of meat. Lamb and Turkey are hard-to-find, they also have Bison which is rare. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful to your needs. If you remember the old Miami Lakes Publix you can truly appreciate how good the new store really is.... This store is large and has an excellent organic selection. The meat department is top notch and there are plenty of gourmet specialty items throughout the store. Even the beer aisle is stocked with a wide variety of micro brews and hard to get imported goodness. The aisles are wide and well lit. The products are usually very fresh. There is an excellent wine selection. Publix knows how to treat it's customers well and many of it's employees have been with the company for years. I like the fact that they hire elderly and handicapped individuals. My hat is off to Publix. But..... I have a big pet peeve about the deli counter. Sometimes the wait is 10 - 15 minutes. I don't understand why everyone at the deli counter is given a slice of whatever they are buying... It slows the process down and it's a slip and fall hazard. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a 3 year old kid stuffing a slice of turkey in it's mouth only to drop half of it on the floor. read more

This Publix is very nice one of the newer looking ones compare to the other ones near by. But man the deli is terrible. I placed an order for pick up online. I knew how bad this place can be especially for lunch. That's why I oped to do the online order. In the pass I've waited so long it almost took my whole lunch hour to get my food. So trying to do better I did Online I mean isn't that the point of Placing the food online, is to not wait so long. And man was I timing this right I place a pick-up for 12:30 ... I purposely walked in for the pick up at 12:45 tell my why I still waited for 20 minutes to get my order. Yeah that makes no sense. Crazy thing about it too was I wasn't the only one waiting that long for their online orders there was about five other people waiting too. Either they need to hire more people or they need to figure a better way to do online orders cause that ridiculous how online orders have to wait so long to get their orders. read more

This Publix is nicer than the other ones nearby but their deli needs to get better service. Some of them are nice and others are just so rude! I love the PUBLIX subs, so much I'm obsessed with them, so if your not on your game, my experience sucks! If you haven't tried their subs I highly recommend the Ultimate Boar's Head and the chicken tender, not spicy buffalo. lol. As per the supermarket, sometimes they have great specials, other times they are rediculously expensive! Like I spent $5.14 on cereal on a small box, really?! That sucks! At Walmart I cant but a family size box for $3.18 and maybe use a coupon for a dollar off. I hate having to go everywhere for a deal but sometimes I have to. I live directly in the middle of 2 Publix stores. This is MY store. Even if I happen to be coming from the other direction & it would make sense to go to the other location... I wouldn't. This location is large and has a great selection of organic products as well as a great variety of produce that you can't find at every Publix. (Tomatillos, anyone??) HUGE wine selection & a nice little selection of craft beers (although it would be better if they were refrigerated). I've bought a bag of tortillas that had apparently expired but I had not noticed it right away because I didn't use them right away. Of course, I had no receipt but I called the store and was told to bring it in to be exchanged. No questions asked. I go to Customer Service and the cashier takes the product and gives me CASH! Whoa. Seriously? Yup. So I go and purchase another package of tortillas and am on my way. Ahhhh... that was no sweat. I know it sounds cheesy... But they hit the nail on the head with their slogan. Even if you find yourself waiting a long time at the deli, they always make a point to let you know that they will be with you soon. It means something to me when people value my time. The renovations at this Publix have really made this a top notch place to buy your groceries. They have everything you would expect along with some other niceties: (1) Large veggie, fruit, and section. (2) Large deli Section with sub area, cooked foods, and sweets. (3) Large organic selection. (4) Large beer and wine selection. (We buy a different six pack for our weekly game night). (5) Decent meat department The aisles are wide and easy to get through.
