June 6, 2025. At approximately 9:20 a.m., I left Aldi store #088, located at 8621 Coral Way, Miami. I want to express my dissatisfaction with the mistreatment and poor customer service I experienced at this store. A cashier--whose name was not visible on her name tag--was shouting at me from her register while I was at the self-checkout because one of my items wouldn't scan. She spoke to me very rudely and even said that if I didn't know how to use the self-checkout, I shouldn't be using it. I love Aldi, especially since Trader Joe's is always so packed. I can find affordable items that are typically much more expensive at the Publix down the street from me. It definitely makes the short trip to Aldi worth it for me. Fruits and veggies are much better priced than anywhere else that I'm used to. Long checkout lines. I waited 15 minutes to check out. When a new checkout lane opens up no effort is made to make sure those waiting the longest in line can checkout first (poor management). They need express checkout for shoppers with few items. They are great though for the incredible efficient/hard working cashiers and for super low prices. read more

Great Aldi, located close to home, and actually one of the larger Aldi's so you usually find everything you need here! I usually have a rule that I need to come here earlier in the day during the weekend because they get really really busy so I tend to use that rule to avoid the mess and crowds that others complain about. read more

Aldi is a great place to shop, except for the Coral Way store. This location needs better management. The store is messy, isles are cluttered and you cannot find an employee who speaks English. Most of my complaints with this Aldi have been resolved. They're currently expanding and remodeling the store. It will be larger and carry more excellent fruits and vegetables. The Aldi brands are consistently good and prices are excellent when compared to Publix. read more

A great place turned gross. I love Aldi, but unfortunately whoever is managing this location has let it deteriorate terribly. One night, the ladies' bathroom had no paper. When asked for some, a cashier was terribly rude and said "you gotta wait I am busy." The toilet seat (which is literally off its hinges) was completely covered in urine. After wiping down *some stranger's* pee, I proceeded to wash my hands with what was the sorriest excuse for soap. They had added water to their 0.99 cent soap... to, I don't know, make it last?? This ALDI has good customer service. They are willing to accept a return or exchanges. They sell a lit of local produce and what's in season is usually cheaper. They recently expanded the store and they are more organized than before. read more

I've gone to multiple different Aldi stores in my area and they are all simply amazing and have TONS of variety. The stores recently got renovated and look better than ever! In the past 2 or so years, they have added TONS of new food items and I really love the selection of organic and natural items. The value of the items is great! I like this grocery chain because I find a lot of their selections to be quite economical. While I can't fully rely on them to fully satisfy my entire grocery list, there's plenty of categories they do meet. The middle aisle has plenty of outdoor and houseware items which are totally functional. The produce does seem to expire quicker but I usually rinse half of it and freeze it while keeping the other half in my fridge. The frozen stuff is great for smoothies and all types of recipes. It's a nice little concept they have fur the shopping carts but do ensure you have a quarter somewhere in your car. It's highly suggested that you bring reusable grocery bags with you to as they do not use plastic bags to package your items. The wine here is great and every so often they have this chocolate red wine bottle that I die for. Depending on the nature of your trip, this stores functionality can either be useful or completely useless so plan accordingly. read more

On my quest to save money on groceries, I learned about Aldi, an inexpensive grocery located off Coral Way. Thinking to myself, "Dang! How am I going to save money and satisfy my protein needs," I was glad that I only spent $31.59, buying a whole lot of protein packed foods that would last me a whole week. Here is the breakdown of my grocery bill: - Frozen fish fillets $5.99 - Turkey patties wrapped in bacon (4) $6.99 - 1 pound of sliced turkey $3.29 - Colby jack cheese $1.99 - A pack of 12 grain bread $1.99 - A pack of wild caught salmon $4.49 - Garlic salt and minced onion spices $1.98 - Italian sausage $3.69 - Avocados (2) $1.18 SUBTOTAL: $31.59 Aldi is definitely the place to go if you want to save money. That, or Walmart's grocery stores! Cons: - You have to pay to use their shopping carts. - Their selection for groceries is very limited, compared to Publix and Winn-Dixie. In terms of prices this place is King. This is the kind of place we go to do a 'big' shopping trip for every few weeks or so. Not some place I'd go on a weekly basis. There are a couple of things about this place that are unconventional, like that you need a quarter to get a cart (you get it back when you return it), and that you have to bag your own groceries. But to be completely honest... this place buys me about 3x more for $20 than Publix or Win Dixie would. What I really like is the produce section.. its not like shopping at less expensive stores where you get things cheaper but they only last you a couple days. I've bought produce here and it lasts just as long as the bigger/more expensive chains of grocery stores. Another Yelper had it right in describing it as the 'Ikea of grocery stores'. I would like to write a review on one of the food items purchased at the Aldis on 87th Ave and Coral Way, Miami, FL 33155. I purchased Priano Lobster Ravioli this past weekend and ate this last night for dinner. After an hour of ingesting this I began experiencing cold sweats, nausea and stomach spasms to the extent of having to vommit 5 times throughout the whole night. I feel so sick because of this and consequently, had to call out from work today making me lose $100.00 for the day! I'm very upset because I also had to miss a very important meeting. I'll have you note that I always do my grocery shopping and for the most part I am pleased with the food items, although I've noticed the prices have gone up. Aldi is a bootleg supermarket. I know that sounds bad but it really isn't. You can find hundreds of items that "look like" other items. Their "Frosty Flakes" look so much like their Kellogg's counterpart, that you'll do a double take. It reminds me of a grocery store I used to shop in when I lived in SoCal called The Grocery Outlet. A lot of brands that look like other brands is what you'll notice during your first visit here. And I'm here to tell you that they taste like those other brands too, which is much more important. You'll definitely find all the basics here, just don't expect finding a lot of variety. While you may find several different brands of ketchup at Publix, you'll be hard-pressed to find 2 brands here. The biggest value here is their Sockeye Salmon. Although it's frozen, it's also wild-caught and only $6 for a slab that comfortably feeds 2 people. I prepared it for my GF and I that night and she was "hooked"--pun intended. She never really paid attention to the difference between farmed and wild-caught fish. Let me tell you that the difference in flavor is huge. But you should avoid their frozen Italian sausage. It doesn't hold up well if you're making sausage & peppers and actually shrinks quite a bit. You're much better off with paying extra and getting a pack of Johnsonville at a different supermarket. I'd recommend going to an Italian butcher, but that's about as rare to find in Miami as a Filipino restaurant. I'm surprised more people don't shop here. The quality of their products is good and you could save so much money when compared to shopping at other supermarkets. But I suggest bringing your own bags because they'll charge you $.06 to use one of theirs. I like the concept, less waste all around, and you get to help save the planet and a couple of bucks. I am a bit disheartened after reading some of these negative reviews regarding Aldi. Let me say this - this store is AMAZING! Aldi offers up a good variety of natural, organic, and conventional foods. Good and bad. The SAME as Publix. Long lines? Yes. I would wait in lines double the size to save half on my groceries when compared to Publix. The reason why you may ask? The less overhead they have, the cheaper the prices. Duh! Aldi in Royal Palm Beach: I love the store, but as an older person I don't like to feel hustled through the checkout. I did not even have time to get all of my things on the belt and she already had my items scanned and thrown into a cart. Why the rush, why the hurry? There was only 1 person behind me. I clean my own cart prior to shopping and then they put my stuff in someone else's unsanitized dirty cart. OH MY LAAAWD. THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE NEXT TO TRADER JOES! I have concluded Walmart is the worst grocery market and is now my last resort. Ok so first off, make sure you bring your own grocery bags. I have strong recyclable bags and trader joe bags stored in my trunk for emergencies cause they're sturdy and boy did they come in handy for Aldi. Aldi is a super cheap food market. And it's probably as cheap as it is because they don't provide grocery bags and they don't have people gathering carts. You pay a quarter to use a shopping cart, but you get the quarter back when you return it. I spent a total of $30 for MANY MANY items! Also, they have a HUGE SELECTION of gluten free items. It's like... For nearly every item there, whether it's pizza, cereal, hot dogs, there's always a gluten free brand! PRETTY AWSOME. they even have organics! When I say cheap, I'm talking like $3 for a big bag of chocolate granola made with coconut oil, dried strawberries, and flax. $2.50 for blueberries that are actually sweet. Etc etc. they even sell household items such as tissues, toiletries, cleaning supplies etc. great cheese selection too! And amazing prices on their meats. it's pretty much a Walmart/publix except cheaper and healthier. Overall great quality food at affordable prices. read more

It might not be name brand but it does its job, who says kraft or kellogs should be the only people making money... Nutrition facts and ingridient list are there, if you dont approve dont buy it. Im on a helath and fitness journey and if it weren't for Aldi, I would not have made it this far. I save about 60-75% on fruits vegetables and seafood! Thank you, Aldi. I see so many struggling families come in here and walk out with full carts. I also love how youre required to bring your own shopping bag or pay 6 to 10 cents for a plastic/paper bag.
