This Aldis location has a poor selection of fresh produce compared to the one on s Dixie hwy. they will display fruit that is moldy. I complained to the corporate office. I'll check back in a month or two to see if the selection improves. The prices and quality of their packaged foods drinks and dairy items is unbeatable. read more

I love coming to Aldi, its affordable and they have a big selection of products. Everytime we come here we end up leaving with twice as much items for 1/3 of the price when in comparison to Walmart, Winn Dixie or Publix. We like to come here to do our big food purchases for the month. read more

I love this place! Super cheap stuff and great quality European products you only find there, the only problem is they don't take credit cards, the cashier sometimes is asleep too, but for the most part this place rocks! Been told to come here for a while. Spent $70 and got ALOT of stuff including meats and fish. Also got produce that seems fresh. Take 25 cents for a shopping cart and some sacks for your stuff as they don't give you bags. The place is kind of small and seems chaotic as things are not in order like most grocery stores but if you are a patient shopper this place will work for you. read more

Aldi is a great grocery store even though it's not as good as Publix but it's good 4 stars because of the staff

I have been to two Aldis in as many days. The first was up in Delray, where my mom lives. It was very crowded and understaffed, and they were out of several advertised items. So today I went to the Coral Way/Galloway store and was REALLY impressed! Because it is surrounded by other discount supermarkets (Walmart, the Publix Sabor market) that are across the street, it wasn't as jammed as the Delray store had been. Also, they had 3 checkout lines open which made them move faster. I am very particular about what I buy--I am very nutrition conscious, vegetarian, kosher, quality oriented, but nonetheless frugal. I admit I was a little leery about Aldi until I did some research and found out they are owned by the same company that owns Trader Joe's. I can't believe what I bought for $40, I got a dozen and a half extra large eggs for $2,19; a couple of 8 oz. packages of baby portobello mushroom for 79 cents each ("on sale" at other supermarkets for 2 bucks); a quart of name brand strawberry kefir fr $2.79 (around $4-5 at the local health food supermarket); a 3 oz. log of goat cheese for $1.99 (most places you are lucky to find it for $3.99); 8.5 oz. of REAL Grade A Canadian pure maple syrup (not the fake "maple flavored" corn syrupy stuff!) for $3.99 (usually at least $6 at most supermarkets); a couple of bags of dried fruits and of all natural almonds for very reasonable prices; a whole head of cabbage for 69 cents and a large eggplants for 79 cents (most supermarkets charge these prices per pound). I bought several cans of evaporated milk, which we use in coffee, for 65 cents a can, instead of paying 92 cents for the Publix house brand, let alone $1.37 for "name brands." I even got a bottle of award winning 2011 German Riesling wine for $4.99! (I like Riesling much more than Chardonnay, and if I like this one, I will be back and stock up.) The only reason I am giving this store 4 stars instead of 5 is because if you go in there and need something very specific, you may not find it there on any given day. They have what they have, and that's it. Also, you may have to do some searching for items that they do have, since they are not necessarily arranged for easy finding. I don't mind bringing my own bags, since I do it everywhere I shop. While I am accustomed to paying by credit card, I don't mind paying cash to get these terrific bargains. (One nice feature of the cash registers is they keep a running tab of your total. So if you only have a limited amount of money with you that may be insufficient to cover all your purchases, you know when you have maxed out on your cash supply. You'd be wise to prioritize your purchases so that the things you need the most are rung up first.) As others have noted, you have to pay a refundable 25 cents for use of a shopping cart, which you get back when the cart is returned and linked up to the other carts. However, there are a lot of very lazy people at this location who just leave their carts in the parking lot. If you do yourself and the store the favor of walking in an abandoned shopping cart from the lot, you won't have to shell out the quarter, and will get it back anyway if/when you return it. I picked up my cart in the lot, used it, and returned it for the 25 cents after I had loaded in my groceries. While I was returning my cart, someone else left a cart right in front of my car, blocking my exit. So I walked that cart back as well, and got another quarter. I probably could have paid for my groceries if I had stuck around all afternoon! read more

Since Aldi opened up in Westchester a couple of years ago, I became a big fan of Aldi Supermarket. The supermarket is clean, efficient and 99 % of the time, they have items that they advertise in stock. Despite the fact that most of the employees speak Spanish, they try to assist quickly and are nice. You just point at the advertisement and they say Si or No. The prices at Aldi are competitive to Publix and Winn Dixie. Despite the fact that they have limited brands in contrast to Publix and Winn Dixie, they provide a few brands that are good quality that spares little time for the consumer in deciding the quality or price of the product. Thanks to Aldi, I also became a big fan of German chocolate and other German items during Ocktoberfest season. In contrast to other supermarkets, the cashiers spends little time moving your items down the conveyor belt. This is in part to setup created by Aldi Supermarket. There are no coupons, no bags and the cashier's machine in front of the customer. Aldi provides a chair for the cashier! This process is good for consumer and the employees. Overall, my experience at Aldi has been wunderbah. I recommend Aldi Supermarket to anyone who cannot wait in long lines at the supermarket. read more

Before anyone judges the items on the shelf, yes it does have "knock off" items however, this further cements that you usually pay an exorbitant fee on the similar items strictly for the packaging. I happened to go by this place since I was further out of my usual living zone and didn't have enough time to buy groceries back in Miami Beach. Let's just say that the items I would normally buy there were mostly available at Aldi as well for a fraction of the cost. In Short, I spent $95.00 on food items that would have cost me at least $150-$160.00 at most Publixes. Oh and the best deal is the produce and meats. read more

Absolutely recommend to everyone I know. Makes grocery shopping very affordable. Produce is very good and you cannot beat their price most of the time. Publix has competition with a lot of items here. Not as much variety but I will take it for the savings. Milk is definitely a lot less expensive. read more

I was skeptical at first because of the appearance of the store, but it is a gr8 place. At first I only went for the produce cause it's always fresh and afordable. I slowly expanded my grocery list by trying a diffrent product everytime I shopped. Some things you will not find as tasty as the brands you are use to eating but overall mostly good stuff. Try the selection of European chocalate, very yummy. read more

Actually I LOVE ALDI--or did until about 6 weeks ago! Every ALDI shopper knows that options are limited--but the private label branding is "the best", in my opinion. I recently purchased a bottle of their Merlot and could NOT believe how top shelf it was--and we pay more in OH than you will in FL. My concern aka "outrage" is how I have recently been "rewarded" with my LOYAL comittment to them since they opened in my home of Warren ( Howland), OH years ago. Now they even have Diet Coke so why go anywhere else? :-) But NOW I must! That is VERY disturbing to a Baby Boomer--I NOW feel betrayed! We are part of a five district market test: they have changed the packaging of Cat Litter from 14 pounds to 20 pounds! I am unable to pick it up and carry it into my home to my cats' litter box! I am organizing an effort to get back the 14 lb size so the my "aging female muscle mass" is able to lift the container & I can still be vibrant and independent! Please help ALL Baby Boomers!
