Stopped by here after a concert in Miami the night before and we're super hungry! We saw this was near our hotel so our group stopped and were pleasantly surprised by the selection with a breakfast area, a cafe/ pastry area, and a hot food bar (and a juice bar!). We all got multiple items and were satisfied with the food. However the service was a bit off since it was hard to communicate in English which led to some mistakes in the drink orders and the drinks also took a while to be finished. But there was plenty of seating outside and it looked overall clean! read more
This spot is a staple and 1 of 4 here in the 305. Have not been to any of the others because this one holds a special place in my heart. Went here for the first time 3 years ago after walking vizcaya museum( yes all the touristy stuff but seriously reccomend). Fun way to spend a day and this is the perfect cap to it. There are plenty of buffet style options with the main register in the back along with jugo y helado. The portions are huge and the flavor is out of this world. I got plantain mashed yellow rice and beef. My only complaint was the guanabana had a little sour/rotten taste(my cousin said it tasted like medicine to him). Lots of food to choose from. Food looked good, and tasted great. It was hard to order as the workers don't really speak English. However, they are really nice. Loved the drink menu as well. The coffee and the juice tasted great. Parking is easy as it is a big lot. read more
If you're looking for something to eat fast this is definitely the place and it's affordable. There are so many options and all of the food tastes amazing. There are plenty of ladies working through each stand and fast at serving your food. They are also very helpful x patient while you decide. The ambiance is very pleasant. The music is not so loud and you can definitely carry on a conversation. I had the fried rice with ribs and congri with yuca. All tasted so amazing. Be aware that the portions they serve are so big! I stopped by to get some fresh coconut water, i had forgotten how versatile this place is! They had beautiful ripe fruit for purchase, probably way better than at grocery stores... they have great coffee & pastries, and plenty of latin food options, from ceviche, pork, seafood rice, tostones, and many more! After being referred to El Palacio De Los Jugos Café and witnessing a constant line we all opted to grab our dinner here and take back to the VRBO to enjoy. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Inside is similar to a market where one can shop for fresh produce, Cuban pastries, ice cream, deli items, hot case foods and sandwiches made to order. Language was a bit of a barrier so I was thankful that the bartender from a previous restaurant had written down the name of Cuban sandwiches for me, Media Noche (standard) and Media Noche + Croqueta Preparada (standard + ham croquette). Prices were reasonable. Portions were large. Food was delicious. read more

Visiting Miami from New York I stayed at an air Air Bn'B nearby. Once I saw the restaurant, I knew I wanted to try out the authentic Cuban cuisine in the morning. Unfortunately I didn't have much of an appetite, but I tried to get as much as I could in the moment so I decided to get a guanabana/soursop/korosol juice, espresso, and a piece of fried cheese (it was actually a thick chunk SOOOOO GOOD) Everything tasted so amazing. Drinking the korosol made my 5 minute walk back to the property so relaxing. As if I was on a Caribbean island laying on a hammock, feeling the cool breeze. That was the best! read more
Yes yes and yes. This is the Miami I was looking for! I don't know if this is the exact location I visited at there are multiple locations but this place is a gem! I came here on my most recent visit to Miami and wanted to stop by because I saw they had cooked food and juices from the window. I wasn't sure if it was a grocery store or market but it's more of a produce market with baked goods and hot food. This is a predominantly Spanish speaking market as most business in this area of Miami are. Most of the employees spoke minimal English and thank goodness for my few years of Spanish in middle and high school I was able to order what I wanted lol. They have an abundance of tropical fruit, mangoes, coconut, papaya, limes, everything looked fresh like it hadn't been frozen. The pastries especially the pastels are amazing. I've always grabbed the guava con queso pastel from places like Versailles, but never again. The ones here were out of this world, buttery and flaky in every bite! They also have fresh pure fruit juices which is so nice. And the hot food section is amazing. They have about 4 different stations wi the chicken, beef, pork and seafood all with an array of sides to choose from. This is a very causal, local place. No reservations nothing fancy, just a bit of courage to practice some Spanish and patience lol but so worth it. This is definitely one of the top places I will make sure to visit on every Miami trip! read more

El Palacio De Los Jugos is a must have when you're in Miami! We ordered the vaca frita, churrasco, rice, black beans, maduros, moros and boniato. All were 10/10. Also, FYI, one meal is enough to feed two or even a small family. I preferred the vaca frita to the churrasco, but both were delish. It's an order at the counter vibe and we did take out for our meal. Can't wait to go back and try other options! read more

This place is huge and if you can't find something to eat then you have to be picky . There is something for everyone. I wanted to try everything but obviously you can't eat it all lol . The food had delicious flavor but sadly everything we tried was ice cold so it wasn't really enjoyable. I wish all the food we had was hot but not one item we got was sadly . Besides the food being cold the entire concept is amazing and they have it all even a selection for dessert and sandwiches and all goes of shakes and cuban coffee . If I come back to Miami I would give it a second try and hopefully it be some hot food . The place was huge and pretty clean and the staff were helpful as well . read more
El Palacio de los Jugos has grown to many locations across Miami where you can pick up all types of Cuban comfort food. One of my favorites here is their chunks of fried pork rinds done fresh daily. It comes out very crispy and bursting with flavor and grease. Also as their name suggests you can order a juice squeezed right in front of you. My personal fav is their guava juice which has right amount of sweetness and taste. read more
If you tell me fresh juice is involved, I'm there! This place is awesome. A little bit of chaos because I didn't know what to do or where to go it all looked amazing and smelled delicious. Some nice lady at the counter saw I was lost and asked me what I wanted. I got some chicken with a side of boiled yucca with a like pickled onion and garlic sauce, freaking mouth watering! There was a language barrier there because I speak un poquito Spanish, but that's not stopping me from trying some local food! She was super nice and helpful! Moved to the next station where they have fresh juice and had to get some soursop! SO GOOD! Enjoyed the nice weather on the screened in patio out back they had. Perfect spot for lunch! read more

What a treat this place is, and what an assortment of foods to choose from. I love Cuban food, and this hit the spot. It wasn't exceptional, but it was worthy of sharing the recommendation. I had the whole fish (Snapper): While it was seasoned well, it was dry and needed some sort of sauce (hot sauce, if that's your thing). For me, that ruined the potential of what the overall taste of the fish could, and should be. The chicharron's, were delicious. They were fried to perfection and the meat attached, was moist and full of flavor. I did notice someone said they were overly salted, my pieces did not have salt on them. It may have been due to them being fresh, and possibly the salt had not been added yet. The Cuban Paella was my favorite! It was full of flavor, seafood, and hit every taste bud waiting for full satisfaction. If I lived in the area, I definitely would visit often. I'd love to be able to taste a variety of the foods they serve. Check this place out, there's something for everyone! (if you like Cuban food) read more

I'm if you want CASUAL delicious Cuban food at a great price, this is the place for you. You have to know what to order though, it's very fast paced. Perfect for take out! The portions are huge. The natural juices are great! Everything is fresh! We had arroz con gri ( rice mixed with black beans) rips vieja ( shredded beef with onions and bell peppers) and maduro ( fried sweet plantains) all in one order. My husband had the pork called nada de Cerdo , the rice with beans and chorizo , and plantains. We also ordered the Cuban sandwich on sweet bread called Media Noche and our drinks were all juices , mango and coconut milk , mamey and guanabana with mamey. EXCELLENT and you cannot beat the prices !! I recommend this place and we go back all the time read more

I've been to one of their other locations and I instantly fell in love. I knew I had found my go to place every time I come down to visit Miami. The people here are the friendliest and they make sure you don't leave satisfied. My go to order is a large plate of Ropa Vieja and Arroz Congri with a side of fried plantains. They serve you a huge portion that can honestly be shared with two people. The roja vieja is so tender and flavorful. I absolutely love the rice here. If only I can figure out how to make this at home, but I have failed miserably. And then some sweet plantains to go along with this very filling meal. This is by far the best bang for your buck joint I have been to a quite some time. And you can't leave this place without ordering a juice. It is called El Palacio de Los Jugos after all. My favorite is their guava Jugo. It taste so refreshing and it is so addicting. This is a must. Last time I had their coconut and that I highly recommend as well. Can't wait to come back. read more

Went here on the recommendation of a friend. Was on a long layover back to LA from South America and decided to stop by for some lunch. Very old school feel here. Not too large inside, but plenty of outdoor eating space on the outside (there's a few indoor tables in the back of the store). Hot food is served here on display cafeteria style, or you can order from their Cuban style menu. Really wanted to try their chicharron pieces and Cuban sandwich. The chicharron was huge. Very juicy and decadent, but very salty in my opinion. Too much I think. I was really disappointed with the sandwiches, unfortunately. It didn't seem like they cooked it long enough as the cheese was barely melted and the bread wasn't even crisped. Inside, just average tasting pork pieces. The Agua de mango was superb, however. Very thick, like a shake. You get a large and that will last you a whole day to finish it. Overall, a bit disappointing for a place with a lot of name recognition. read more

What can I say! What a hole in the wall! So much cuban food and desserts! As I walked in all you can smell is the fresh hot food! They have seafood, pernil (pulled pork), steak, yucca, rice and beans literally they have something for everyone here! They even have fresh smoothies and juices. On my way out I had a cafecito( cafe con leche) and toasted Cuban bread! The service was so fast and everyone was so friendly! read more
Amazing food for great prices but you gotta be able to get thru the craziness when ordering! We came on a Sunday afternoon and the inside of this palace was a hot mess. People in all directions, ordering at different parts of each counter with people shopping in the marketplace in between. We were lucky we went with friends who speak Spanish and was able to help us order. There portions are absolutely humongous! Like 2 lbs of food for each of our orders. I had the oxtail and it is so tender the meat just fell off the bone! So juicy and flavorful. I got it with a side of mixed veggie and chorizo rice. It was a little on the salty and oily side but it was delicious when I first ate it. Reheating it the second day was a little messy. Also got a side of yuca with garlic and onions. Super soft and mashed. Loved it. Also got to try the ropa vieja and pork belly rice. Both very rich in flavors but the meat was very good. The plantains was sweet and cooked perfect. read more
This place was everything I hoped it would be. We came here straight from the airport and ordered chicharrones, ropa vieja with maduros and moro, a bacalao croquette, a chicken empanada, a ham and cheese empanada, a tamal, and a grapefruit juice. Everything was outstanding -- the chicharrones were the headliner and I can't imagine coming here and not getting them, but both empanadas were also really amazing (better than I had expected, honestly) and I'd love to try more croquettes. And surprisingly, my wife really loved the ropa vieja and (less surprisingly) the moro. The tamal was also basically perfect (and huge). Amazing food, huge portions, and great prices. New to Miami... I had no clue what to order anywhere in the city. I am constantly look at photos on yelp of food and ordering based off photos. This is in every city/restaurant I go to... I guess I am just a visual person. We ubered to this location on Flagler. It was super clean!!! The food was super fresh and the lady who helped us, even though her English was very limited.. she was very kind and helpful. We opted for two beef meals. It was delicious. This is the location on the Flagler street. The one I saw on many television programs and internet. When I got there, it was around 11 am. They were just ready to serve lunch. It was amazing to have so many dishes to choose from. All the Cuban traditional dishes were available including many seafood dishes that I don't see in other restaurants. I also ordered the guava juice without ice. It was so refreshing and not overly sweet. Definitely will stop by this restaurant every time I visit Miami from now on. read more

I adore this place! So many options! I've never had the opportunity to go through the buffet, but they have a little bit of everything. I'm a big fan of the fish croquettes. They have some of the best, if not the best, cafe con leche around. I've tried a few of the juices, but on my last visit, I finally found my go-to, passionfruit, it is SO good, I don't think I'll be able to stray from it ever again. Other family members have had other fried foods and sandwiches, and everyone is always happy. They have so much to choose from. Go, because they have great food and drinks, but it also feels like a fun experience just being there. I love El Palacio De Los Jugos!!! read more

The good: There are so many selections here. You can get fresh juice squeezed from fruits that you do not normally have grown in North America. They have milk shakes made with fresh fruits. They have a corn section that even has fresh popped popcorn. They have all meats prepared multiple types of ways that even included lamb and ox tails. The seafood section is a section by itself, the other meats take up about 4 other sections. They even have a fresh sandwich section tied with the fresh juice section. You will also see traditional pastries in that section, which includes guava and cheese pastries. I watched many people order food and realized 2 things. The first thing I noticed was they truly pack on the food, so the portion sizes are plenty. The second thing I noticed that everyone here prefers to speak Spanish and have a limited English vocabulary. They can get your order to you without having to speak to you! The bad: With a few exceptions, none of the meat prices are posted. My frugal meter didn't know what to do! The ugly: With only covered outdoor seating available, I did see some birds get into the food areas. That's a serious risk for fecal matter food contamination. I ordered a plate special, which is one rice, one plantain and one meat for essentially $12. I opted to add another protein in your mix for another $8. I considered just getting two plate specials but they pack so much rice on the plate to whereas I just didn't want to be responsible for eating that much rice. I opted for sweet plantains, chicken and pork rice, with shredded pork as my protien. My second protein was essentially shredded beef. The plantains helped balance the salt content from all the other elements of my dish. Pork was just okay and the rice was just okay. The beef had the most flavor. I tried a piece of their chicharrones, and it was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and lightly flavored for an enjoyable experience. There was so much of a variety of fresh fruits and cooked items to whereas I forgot to order a fresh juice! I may go back before I leave Miami to try more stuff. You should stop here for the experience. read more

Palacio de los Jugos really does hit the spot when I am craving a very cuban meal. I love going here because the portions are out of control. With one meal "una complete" two people can comfortably eat and get really full. My go to meal is "una complete" with congri, lechon asado, and yuca con mojo. The congri at Palacio is so good and flavorful. I also like ordering a batido or juice. My go to lately has been a passionfruit juice. The only downfall with the food is that it is very greasy but it comes with the style of food. read more
