First a visit for sunglasses. There are any number of shops on Collins where you can buy sunglasses but I found my favorite pair here for a cool $20. I also picked up some mouthwash and antacid. Then, after trying to read a book at the beach, I realized that with my new contact prescription I needed my first pair of reading glasses (RIP my youth) so I stopped back in to check out their selection. Not bad! I got a cute pair of Foster Grants. After a day at the beach I got a little pink and needed some aloe. Popped back in for that. Each time I browsed a bit. Picked up some make up during my aloe trip, as well, thanks to their dedicated beauty area. The shop itself is a bit dingy, though the products are in good shape. It's also huge! With a bit of grab and go food available alongside snacks and even some booze. Also it's 24 hours which is a bonus! I definitely could have found most of the things I picked up cheaper if I had remembered to grab them before getting to my hotel but alas, my memory did not cooperate. So I had to take the L and the tourist upcharge. But luckily I got everything I needed!

They were not honest about when an important medication would be available, and did not offer to send the prescription to another pharmacy that could help. I waited 4 days, and returned every day to check, then I received a text message saying the prescription was ready for pick up and I went to pick it up. They told me they didn't have any prescription at all for me and I showed them the text message, they claimed my Dr. cancelled the prescription, when in actuality it had expired due to their negligence. This behavior is dangerous and could be life threatening, given the time sensitive nature of some prescriptions. I would not entrust this team with my best interests or health.

I was surprised to finally find farmers cheese in Miami. But thanks to Publix for having it. It's a product that is rare to find at stores. Staff is nice and welcoming here. Almost never could pass the bakery department and not to grab their chocolate cookies. My overall rating would only be 4 stars though. I can find most of items I need here but still have to go to other places especially for veggies and fruits. I wish they would have more choices of organic products. read more

i have been shopping at publix in miami at 4 different location. i find the employes at this location unfriendly aggressive uptight including the Afro American store manger . no i am not a racist .i do enjoy and love all the other publix... but the 1045 dade blvd needs to change there staff at the lotto stand and the western union and the manger . read more

My boyfriend lives on the beach and this is the grocery store that I'll usually come to whenever I'm here. I have nothing unusual or bad to report about this grocery store. The employees are pretty helpful. I wish their produce was a little better but other than that, I have nothing bad to say. read more

The only reason for 4 of 5 stars is the lack of organic health foods and produce.

That said, the customer service here is always excellent. The staff is friendly, the place is very clean, and ordering by phone is quick and easy. I just wish the quality of the avocado was consistent enough to match the great service.
