Best place to get your own made sandwiches as well as chicken and sides. Don't forget to ask for additional garlic pickles

Local grocery store that has basically anything you want to cook with, snack on, or eat as a meal…read more They have a self serve bar in the deli, that changes daily. They have a seafood dept that has a variety to choose from, mostly known for their boiled shrimp and crawfish~Cajun style. We like the seafood dips they have, especially the smoked tuna a dip. They have the best key lime pie in town. So, I usually have one of those in my freezer. Oh, they have a big area for alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. You name it, Rouse's probably has it. Rouse's is more convenient to the beach than other grocery stores, but it may be a little pricier. You have to weigh the pros and the cons, like all other places. Note: pics taken from Rouse's online site.

Another great Rouse Market - we stopped in while in the area to pick up a few things for the RV. In…read moremy opinion one thing that separates Rouse from other grocery stores is all the fresh made foods that's available hot and ready to eat like jambalaya and other specialties and of course the fresh baked breads and rolls, who can resist? This location has a fresh sushi count that looked amazing and a great selection of fresh or steamed fish and seafood. I love walking down the aisles to see all the things you'd never find in most grocery stores, the staff here is very welcoming and outgoing and always ready to help direct you to anything you need. I just heard Rouse purchased (10) more Winn Dixie locations that they plan to renovate and rebrand them under the Rouse name, unfortunately none close to my home but it's great news for their Louisiana and Mississippi loyal customers. If you've never entered a Rouse Market you definitely need to check them out...

Piggly Wiggly - Large selection od domestic and imported beers. There were many types of Heffe to choose from, but we love the Original.

The Foley, AL location of Piggly Wiggly has an above average selection of beer for the area and…read moreactually seems to have the overall best selection in the area. This store also has a great selection of frozen veggies which sadly a lot of other stores just don't seem to carry. This is an older store but they do offer a lot of things the newer places don't have. They have a dedicated butcher and a dedicated seafood counter. Overall this is a place that just seems to offer a lot more than many other grocery stores in the area.

Have always gone there, decided to get the app so I could finally get discounts without the teller…read morehaving to put in their code for me to get them, I have had several people previously in the check out line that tell the teller to void the item rang up because they didn't get it for what they see the sale price was. The teller put in my phone number and they said it was excepted. Clipped coupons, did what I was supposed to do. Did not get discount, probably would have saved me $20 or so. Check out was busy so I said I would go to customer service. Went to talk to the guy that was at the counter, after I waited for him to stop chit chatting. I explained what had happened he apologized and I showed him my phone. He just stared at it and said, I'm sorry??!! I told him to forget it and I just won't come back, he said I'm sorry. I said on my way out,"if you were sorry you would have done something"! I truly believe he really didn't know what to do? I hope to goodness he wasn't the manager!!! I've been in management for 30 years and I have never had such an incompetent service person? I frequent this piggly wiggly at least 3-4 times a month and never leave there without spending over $100, I know that's not much but this day and age everyone is trying to be frugal. I guess it will be the new Market place across the street or Publix. The Loxley Piggly Wiggly is awesome, went there for 16 years before I moved to Foley.
