Anyhoo, we still like to stop here on the way to the Beach occasionally for cool surf & safari adventure tasty treats. This last visit, hubby went all Jungle man fruity over the new spill proof grab & go tamper evident containers of fresh cut up fruit that are located in the produce section. He really loved the mixed fruit, moi loved the mango one. The square spill proof tamper evident containers fit nicely in our cooler & did not spill in the cooler at all. Great product. Much Aloha. Hubby loves his Jungle man surf days ridin some killer waves, so we will be back soon for those totally awesome mixed fruit cups. It's hubby's new fruity surf side jam jam-bony! Arrrrr! Recommend.

They also have a great sense of humor! :)) Yesterday I stopped in to grab some things, bc I was out of town. I hurriedly changed from my fancy city wallet to my beach duds & unbeknownst forgot to grab my bank cards/credit cards out of it. Just grabbed by beach wallet & made tracks. When I was checking out I got 4 bottles of wine. The lovely young lady there says to me, you get a discount for purchasing four bottles something something... & I was like oh yeah, did I nail it? She Says, "yeah you nailed it" and she says you get a free bag also. And I was like, awesome! lol We were having fun goofing around.. Then, I was about to pay, I realized I had no credit/bank cards as I had left them in my fancy wallet! yikes lol I did have some cash so I quickly counted my cash & said to the cashier "don't go over $160 that's all the cash I got!" Right as the cashier just finished checking out all my stuff it came to $157.34! Almost right on the MONEY BABY! hahah haha. He "Tyler S." looks at me & my cash, laughs & says, well, you def nailed it" and the lovely lady bagging says "divine intervention" Your having a blessed day! LOLOLOLOL Thanks for the amazing fun friendly engaging service! Y'all are so awesome in every way, you made my day! :)) Attention Store Manager: Mike Sica "Give these two a raise!" Shout out to Tyler S. and his lovely side kick who bagged my groceries. "Nailed it!" haha! "God bless y'all!" Highest Recommendations.

This store is so much cleaner and the buffet so much nicer than any of the New Orleans area locations I've frequented. It is nice to get my New Orleans staples here like Rouse's house brand Creole Mustard and their superior 100% olive oil Rouse's Olive Salad in regular or jalapeno. They even have Hubig's Pies here! Rouse's has what New Orleans folks need to stay sane when they are down in the culinary wilds of Lower Alabama where finding just regular mustard is often quite a task much less the BEST mustard option of creole mustard is nearly impossible to find at local restaurants unless you bring your own. I always keep creole mustard in my vehicle at all times as I have frequent mustard emergencies whenever I have to deal with the culinary shortcomings of Alabama. Don't even get me started on what they call "gumbo" which is usually just blah Alabama soup. The ONLY acceptable gumbo I've found in Alabama is at Tamara's Downtown in Fairhope!

I will be honest with you. I was a bit confused and nervous I was maybe going in the wrong direction. I was assured that I'm doing fine I was driving along to the store and all the sudden it was in my left driving south. Only reason why I gave it my star review. No fault on them. Forgive me it was my first time going here. A bit of a challenge pulling in especially a left with lots of traffic. No fault on them. And the parking lot is limited. Do not be discouraged by this. Not only they have a small parking lot next to it they few spots in the front of store off the main road. But there are plenty of parking spots available few stores down. Honestly, I would have never known about this place if not recommended. It maybe a small spot but well worth it. It is an international stop but mainly accommodating to the Filipino community. They offer many great food options for you as well as fresh baked goods. They do offer a small dining area but subject to change and availability. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. They are bi-lingual not only in English but also Tagalog. I would highly recommend it if you are in the area. I especially would have not known about this place. I am so glad that she recommended it!
