This was the coolest old Winn-Dixie till they modernized it. Oh well, you say progress, I say, if it isn't broken, don't fix it. I loved it the old school groovy 60's way. Anyhoo, we still like to stop here on the way to the Beach occasionally for cool surf & safari adventure tasty treats. This last visit, hubby went all Jungle man fruity over the new spill proof grab & go tamper evident containers of fresh cut up fruit that are located in the produce section. He really loved the mixed fruit, moi loved the mango one. The square spill proof tamper evident containers fit nicely in our cooler & did not spill in the cooler at all. Great product. Much Aloha. Hubby loves his Jungle man surf days ridin some killer waves, so we will be back soon for those totally awesome mixed fruit cups. It's hubby's new fruity surf side jam jam-bony! Arrrrr! Winn Dixie on S. Blue Angel Parkway I was shopping at the meat dept, the dept manager approached me and asked if I needed help. I said I was looking for the $9.99 crab legs but they're gone. He told me to pick out the bag that I wanted in the $12.99 section and he'll make it $9.99 and he did. It was a very nice gesture, a good start to my Saturday. Thank you very much. read more

GREAT store and friendly staff! Been coming here several times a week for more than a year, as well as several of my neighbors and family members, and never had a bad experience. They keep the store, well-stocked and well-maintained, and it looks great after they recently renovated it! As long as I live here, everyone I know will be grocery shopping here. The pharmacy is an added bonus, as they are open later than most other pharmacies! P.S. The prices we usually get here are better than any other grocery store in town, which is saying something! Being part of their rewards program is very beneficial, but the cashiers will usually help you out with discounts, even if you're not part of their membership program. read more

Needs some Management !!!!!! No Cashiers for customer flow, I bought $250 and customers are upset waiting on my transaction.. Need to have baggers and assistance for disabled customers... Not a fan. Over priced and the typically not that great to a selection of fresh produce. Their meat is not as good as it used to be. They charge prices as high as Publix, but their stores don't compare. They are dated and don't offer the same quality and selection. read more

They close the deli before 5:00 pm. They don't clean buggies, the manager stands around with no mask on and not socially distanced. The food goes bad quicker than other stores. read more

Winn Dixie has always been hit and miss with produce and meat selection. However the customer service is getting worse. They want you to coddle them when they are wrong but don't want to apologize when they make a mistake. They have employees like Jessica and Jennifer who would rather make false accusations and not apologize. They swear it's not a race issue due to one of the pharmacist having a "black wife" was the male pharmacist words. But in a moment where I'm surrounded by 8-10 people that don't look like me and being called aggressive while not moving especially when it was Winn Dixie made the mistake doesn't look or feel right.. This store keeps their entire staff happy and it shows. I frequent this store often and aside from being very kind, clean, and helpful; they're also kid friendly. The new carts for kiddos are so cute!! Never used the pharmacy, but the bakery, deli, meat Dep staff and cashiers are ecstatic to help every time I've been. This review is for Winn Dixe in general not just this store. I am a Publix shopper but 2 years ago gave Winn Dixie another try. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, selection of products and the prices. Recently in the past year it's gone down hill again. The Winn Dixie card has been replaced with a Plenti card of which I find has no decent value, they are always out of the produce I come to shop for, today no cilantro and no fresh jalapeños. Fresh fish selection is terrible and the meat selection and prices are average at best, the bakery is nothing special. The last pie we bought was at Thanksgiving and we threw it away. Today was my last day shopping at Winn Dixie. Wondering if there is a new CEO? Back to Publix I will shop where I always leave happy! Must retract my previous statement. As I did continue to shop at this location since my prior review all produce has been available and it's beautiful. It seems as though the produce department became a priority. Every item I need is there and I'm very happy with the selections, especially the apples. Better yet the nicest women work in the morning and they are quick to know exactly where an item is located and are so accommodating to point one to the correct location of products. In the past I never shopped at Winn Dixie. Not until a few months ago. Prior to moving to Pensacola my favorite grocery stores included BiLo and Kroger because of the value and perks. Since moving here I previously only shopped at Wal-Mart and publix. But WD is stepping up to the plate. Savings with BOGO deals and teaming up with Plenti rewards. I now come here first for grocery shopping especially on meats. They have awesome deals on meat frequently. Usually they have discount coupons on the package, marked down price for using your plenti card and BOGO deals. Just today I got chicken BOGO - so I got a pack of thighs and drumsticks, only paid $4. Pot roast originally $13 got for $8. Bacon $1.50 off price of $4.99 Smithfield brand. They have a good selection of everything except produce. Still go to Wal-Mart or publix for that. The place is well organized. Adequate parking and buggies. They even have a large supply of kid size buggies for your little ones to push. Clean interior. Friendly workers. I'm a local and this is one of the nicer Winn-Dixie stores in Pensacola. Large clean store with stocked shelves. Great floral section. Meat coolers nice and clean. Lots of beer and wine choices. read more
