Got new insurance so I had to switch to this store. Walgreens in general is a horrible company but this location is the absolute worst. They said they didn't receive the prescription so I had to call the doctor and have them send a new prescription. It took them well over four hours to fill it. We have been using the pharmacy for over eight years. The last couple of years the service has been getting worse. It is now w failing. Last night we arrived at the pharmacy at shortly after 5:00 PM. Although the stated hours are different, we were told the pharmacy was closed (within stated hours). Saturday afternoon I went to the drive through. There were about five cars in the. The line did not move for at least 15 minutes. I went inside. There were about five people in line. I've Venn at the store over half an hour and b end n sight. I'm done with this store. read more

Who ever was giving Covid vaccines Friday night at 7 pm May 6th at the Foley, Alabama store. He did a very painful job ! My daughter had her second shot and he stabbed the needle very deep and caused a lot of pain and lots of bleeding. Shes very sick today and her arm is swollen. It doesn't matter if you make an appointment in advance. I had to wait an hour past my appointment for my flu shot. Why even have an option to make an appointment?? It's also one line for pickup and shots. Do something better. I am not using cvs anymore. read more

Most ridiculously run pharmacy is the US is the Foley location. They'll give you a partial prescription, then call your doctor to say that YOU are mishandling your meds and need help. One long ridiculous line on a constant basis, when they have capability for two, and lots of workers. Manager of the pharmacy needs to work at McDonalds to learn a thing or two about customer service. Transferred ALL of our prescriptions out. read more

Pharmacy ladies are extremely rude and nasty Everytime I come to pick up a prescription or have a question regarding such. If you're not a people person handling peoples medications is not the job for you. Sat on the phone for 45 minutes just to hear someone pick up the line and hang up. Called back and waited for another 30 minutes just to hear someone rushing-ly say, "there's 8 callers ahead of you" and hang up. Horrible service. I went to get my prescriptions filled and they said it would be a few minutes. Shopped then went back to get the prescriptions. Then they said it would be about 4 hours. Went back 5 hours later and they only fill one. They argue with me about having 2 prescriptions but then they found the other order. However it was out of stock, and no one at any point said the 2nd one was out or I would have had them sent it to another pharmacy. When back the next day at 3:30. They told me it had to be ordered. After I said to send to you another pharmacy they said they had it but it had to be filled. 4 hours later they still have not filled it. 35 hours and 5 trips I finally have my meds. Had to fill a prescription. Thought we would drop it off, go have dinner, come back and pick it up. Waited in line 30 minutes just to drop off the prescription and was told it would be 45 minutes if I waited, 2 hours if dropping off. ? Dropped it off, went and had dinner. Arrived back one and a half hours later. Again had to wait in line another 30 minutes, which made it two hours, to pick up my prescription. It wasn't ready. Was told it would be just a few minutes. After waiting another 30 minutes, I get back in line to find out if its ready. My turn, not yet. Sat down, a few moments later I saw them put a prescription into the box that encompassed my last name. Nobody called over the store speaker that prescription was ready. Again, I have to get back in line, honestly, another 30 minutes and low and behold its ready. I've never seen or experienced a pharmacy this backed up. Not sure if they were really busy or really disorganized. After sitting and watching, waiting for a total of two hours. I think its the later. Staff was not very friendly and definitely not accomodating. Very glad this is not my usual store. If it was, I'd find a new pharmacy. read more

The experience with Walgreens was disastrous, horrible etc. My Wife and I were previous Rite Aid customers, when they supposedly transferred our info to Walgreens the lack of service and concern for our experience was totally non existent, won't mention lines and waits ... those were beyond horrible but everyone got that. My wife was traveling out of state, had the out of state Walgreens call locally (Foley) received the needed info and filled the scrip. When she came home she needed another, the pharmacy said that her records did not transfer which is probably a fabrication since they had already provided the necessary info that allowed the two to be refilled out of State. In any case she called the dr and had him fax over a new scrip. when she called she was told the scrip was ready, when I went to pick it up they said they did not have insurance info. I asked why did you not get it when you told her the scrip was ready ... No answer ... but if you cant provide ins information you will need to pay Obviously somehow they had provided ins info on the out of state refills. I cancelled the whole mess had the dr fax to Winn Dixie, picked up in an hour or so complete. we have since transferred our records to Winn Dixie. My wife says "Never again will she do business with Walgreens. Oh why are there pharmacy folks allowed to work behind the counter less shoes, Scrubs and Socks are not exactly a good look. That was happening both times that I was in that store. read more

Had to wait for front cashier to complete her personal phone call planning her supper meal. Wanted a price check and she ignored me and just rang it up. Forgot she had ask for my balance card and ask for it again. Then clammed up and quit talking to me. Asked for my id just to finally do a price check. read more

My wife went in to get a prescription for antibiotics and had to wait 45 minutes, even after the prescription was called in over an hour before. The person that waited on her said they couldn't find it and that they were having computer problems. Finally my wife got the prescription and went home for me to discover it was the WRONG prescription. I called and it took nearly 15 minutes to get through. I was told that the doctors office didn't call it in, when in fact I was right there when they did it. In the end I ended up with no antibiotics from them. The horrible service and lack of concern is appalling. Needless to say, they can't be trusted and I will never shop there again. read more

I went in to get a picture of my father holding my daughter enlarged and placed in a frame on a late Saturday morning. This was for her wedding that same night. Vickie was assisting me in the photo area. She was very patient, kind and spent a lot of time with me to get the photo just right. Vickie didn't know, but It meant the world to me because my father had just passed away the previous day. She was not just that way with me, but to all the customers she dealt with when I was there. The picture came out perfect and I could not have asked for better service in the photo department. read more

I don't post many online reviews, but after reading the review by Kathy J. and noting the failure by Yelp to post a second, more favorable review, I am compelled to comment. It is regrettable that she had such an unfortunate experience, but I feel that hers was an exception rather than the rule. My family's Rx situation is complex. We have four (4) different billing requirements, plus a pet that isn't covered by insurance. I've never received more personal service or been treated better than at the Walgreens Pharmacy in Foley. They stay busy most of the time, which is understandable considering the exceptional level of service they provide. I have seen as many as four tech's serving customers at as many stations and two Pharmacists on duty at the same time. While that isn't the norm, it's not unusual to find 4-5 workers in the Pharmacy at any given time. In addition to filling prescriptions, consultations and flu shots are provided. They have also contacted other pharmacies in- and out-of-state to facilitate meeting our needs. When our pet needed long-term medication, Andy found a way to reduce our cost. In short, this business deserves a much more favorable rating than what has been portrayed by failing to post all reviews. I am not acquainted with the previous reviewers...I would just like to see a more accurate representation of the often "above and beyond" efforts of the employees involved. read more

I checked to see if meds were ready before I came due to my work schedule. When I arrived the pharmacist said they had just opened at 9:50 and it would be an hour. We left came back to check in half hour and asked if she could fill it Because I need to go to work. She said it will take longer now. I asked her please? But she just walked off. Then a coworker a male came after about five minutes and said to move that they had urgent people inside and it was two days early and they did not have time for us. I said please because I have to go to work. He went off in the meanest voice and said they would text when it's ready. I guess he hates his job and the customers that use Walgreens. It's Saturday at 10 :30 now so I will have to go back and see if it is ready we don't have a phone they can text. I was very polite and said please and thank you but the blonde woman and the brown haired guy were just mean and really wanted a fight. read more

Worse Pharmacy EVER!!! They don't take discount cards and tried to charge me $60 more than what I pay at a normal Walgreens all over the USA for one prescription. I travel for business all over and this place is Horrible!! I would give it No stars if I could!!! read more

We've been going to Walgreens in Foley, AL for 6 years. We have found them to be friendly, and very helpful. When my doctor's office make an error the staff at Walgreen's went out of their way to help solve the problem.
