They have a seafood dept that has a variety to choose from, mostly known for their boiled shrimp and crawfish~Cajun style. We like the seafood dips they have, especially the smoked tuna a dip. They have the best key lime pie in town. So, I usually have one of those in my freezer. Oh, they have a big area for alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. You name it, Rouse's probably has it. Rouse's is more convenient to the beach than other grocery stores, but it may be a little pricier. You have to weigh the pros and the cons, like all other places. This location has a fresh sushi count that looked amazing and a great selection of fresh or steamed fish and seafood. I love walking down the aisles to see all the things you'd never find in most grocery stores, the staff here is very welcoming and outgoing and always ready to help direct you to anything you need. I just heard Rouse purchased (10) more Winn Dixie locations that they plan to renovate and rebrand them under the Rouse name, unfortunately none close to my home but it's great news for their Louisiana and Mississippi loyal customers. I had an absolutely awful experience at the Cumberland Farms on Sunday, February 7th. Fair enough--except for the fact that both employees were just standing around at the register, doing nothing. When I asked if they could help or give me an idea of when the restroom would be available, they rudely dismissed me and basically told me it wasn't their problem. Another customer mentioned that the restroom had been closed since 7 a.m., which makes me think this had nothing to do with "cleaning" and everything to do with pure laziness. Not only was the staff completely unhelpful, but their attitude was downright nasty. If you hate dealing with the public that much, maybe you should find a new job! Cumberland Farms, you should seriously reconsider who you're hiring because this level of customer service is beyond unacceptable. I won't be coming back, and I'd recommend others take their business elsewhere too.
