Avoid this pharmacy at all costs! The pharmacist Jacob is an arrogant narcissist. I have been getting my pain meds from this pharmacy since 2017 and all of a sudden he decided on his own I don't need them contradicting my physician. He flat out lied to me about my doctor having to be in Pinellas County and ALL of my meds had to be dispensed at his pharmacy (I get some of my meds through the VA by mail at no cost). Needless to say I am starting a lawsuit to try to get him to understand I did nothing wrong and you don't treat a veteran like this. read more

Ordered Thanksgiving dinner from Publix. Picked it up at the Belcher location. The mashed potatoes were instant; the gravy was extra salty and the cornbread stuffing tasted terrible. Threw everything away except the turkey. Very disappointed. read more

This Publix is comparable to a Save -a-lot !! Inside is dated and the staff are not friendly. Even trying to say hi to a cashier ...sometimes is difficulty for them to acknowledge you. Worst cashier ever! Not only did I have to wait in line with one person for over 20 minutes while she repackaged all of the groceries that's the special needs bagger couldn't do, but she went on to have conversation with the customer for 10 more minutes while I sat there in line waiting to check out. I understand that seniors need to work, but if they can't perform their task, they shouldn't be there. Horrible service. read more

The store itself and staff are friendly but quite frankly something has happened recently that is concerning. I have found multiple different items full sku sitting over a month expired on the self for sale. So no quality control is being done. It's very disappointing that I have to check every item to make sure it's not expired when I shop this location. read more

Most Publix locations are Very Good but his location is GREAT!! The staff noticed I was limping (having just come from a small surgery) and offered to help me with my shopping. They even went and got a few items I forgot and cheerfully wheeled my groceries to my car. The young lady even helped me load them in. She was wonderful and would not accept the small gratuity I offered as she deserved it for her hard work. The Pharmacy is even BETTER!! They saw I was in pain and filled my medication right away so I could get home all the sooner. It's been a LONG time since I've experienced positive customer service from ALL the employees in a grocery store, but these folks are ACES!! read more

I am a regular customer for Publix for years. I love the place and the staff. Publix is more than an average grocery store. Great service great people quality products. I personally love the service at Publix. They are true BOGOs where they don't jack the price up and then offer the BOGO, like some other grocery stores do. "Publix, where shopping is a pleasure", has been their motto forever. And for the most part it is true. The bigger the store, the larger the assortment of products. The small stores have only the top selling brands. I love their BOGO's, when I can't find something and ask a sales person, they will take me to the item or find out if they carry the product. If they are out of the product they will check in back and if there is none in storage, they will suggest a rain check. Staffs are friendly and helpful and appear to be eager to be there. Also a large Greenwise selection, quality meats and bakery. read more

We've been shopping at this Publix for years and even before their last restoration. The store director, Amy, always goes out of her way to say hello whenever we're in. The deli and bakery area is always spotlessly clean. All of the employees are helpful and cheerful which makes the stress of shopping a little more manageable. Some of the checkout folks have been there for years and that's a good sign of stable management. I would definitely recommend this location of Publix if you're on your way to or from the beach via Gulf to Bay. read more

This is not my normal Publix for groceries, but I stop here from time to time when I am in this part of town. Today (day before Valentines Day) I stopped to see the flowers. I figured that if they had nothing I wanted, I would go to the flower shop down the road. I was surprised at the variety of flowers even though roses are apparently in short supply this year due to issues with the crop. The nice lady in the floral department--Nora--saw that I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. She has some ideas and put together something special for me that was beautiful and a fraction of the price of a flower shop on Valentines Day. I'm sure things will get crazy there today and tomorrow -- I was lucky to be the only one shopping for flowers at the time. It is not a full-service florist by any means, but I really appreciated Nora going out of her way to help get me what I wanted. Thank you! read more

We were on our way to the beach and stopped in to pick up a sub and some snacks. At the deli, (where a lot of stores fail) employees made sure to notice each waiting customer and tell them they'd be right with them. That's one of my pet peeves when you're ignored. Both employees making subs were very nice. Even cracking jokes about how in the world could I eat an Italian sub without adding Parmesan. lol Check out was fast with no waiting. read more

Nice newer clean Publix. This Publix is set up a bit different than others. The meat section is in a different area as is the bakery and the produce section. I didn't quite like the set up because I'm accustomed to other Publix locations. That's okay. Service is still nice, and everyone is always helpful. The only reason you are getting one star is because that is the only way for me to let Clearwater know you have the WORST deli and customer service!! I and 3 other customers waited at the deli where the meals are prepared and "served". Ha! We all asked for help and were ignored. So I called the store and customer service paged for help. Nothing. I called back and asked to speak to the manager. Corey, I believe his name is. Corey told me he was busy but would be over as soon as he can. We waited. Finally an awesome employee named Nurse came out and helped us. While I see Corey over in the sliced meats where customers were just walking up to be served. I so not only never return, I will be filing a complaint with the corporate office. As well as spreading the word as there are many other Publix in Clearwater. Good bye. read more

A nice sized Publix but I felt very uncomfortable shopping. Heather checked us out and made no eye contact and threw our items around very aggressively where I had to say something. My father and are Hispanic and felt very discriminated to the point where it was obvious. read more

I like this particular publix because it is spacious, but has all the great things all publix stores are known for such as, great lighting, great atmosphere, friendly workers, and everything looks clean and appealing. I heart publix, but It can be expensive. I usually come here for 3 things: 1. The bakery 2. The deli 3. Buy 1 get 1 free. 1.The bakery has some of the best special occasion cakes. Almost every birthday party I go to, Publix cake is just about guaranteed to be there. I am not sure why, but everyone loves publix cake. They have a variety of styles, flavors, and icings, and I even went to a weeding that had a Publix wedding tier cake. I was really impressed that the wedding cake looked really expensive for a grocery store cake. They have really good cookies, tiramisu, and a bunch of other stuff that will gie you diabetes by just looking at it. 2. I think everyone knows about the publix subs and the board head brand that they offer. I love to get a loaded turkey boars head sub, on multigrain. It always tastes so fresh. they have various hot and cold subs, and even this chicken tender sub which looks like it has to be at least 3000 calories. I've been shopping here for years and this location is very clean, organized, and the entire staff is very friendly and helpful. The standout is Jeremy in the deli department. He always says hi to my wife and I and has great recommendations on subs, meats, and cheeses. Moreover, the selling floor is well lighted and is complemented by shopper friendly, wide aisles. Nevertheless, grocery shopping for the family need not be a struggle as choices are made with ease. Shopping carts, are well tuned without that thump, thump of misaligned cart wheels. Publix Foods doesn't "play" with its customer base and always gives the best in customer service. Additionally, Ms. Frances N knows her job and gives her best to customers and their shopping experience, with a smile. She knows how to please her patrons who in turn tell others about their shopping experience. Moreover, Ms. Frances N. seems to welcome her customers with all the luminosity, she has to give. Having lived in the area for eight years, my family chooses the Publix way for the larger percentage of family intake and need satisfaction. While I live about a mile from this Publix I drive to the Belleair Bluffs store to do my shopping. Sure this is a much larger store, with a better selection in the grocery aisles, but the cleanliness of the Bakery department (flies, lots of flies on the display tables and BIRDS (sparrows) on the floor behind the display cases eating whatever crumbs they could find) and the quality of the (very expensive) produce speaks about the cleanliness of the rest of the store. The containers of pre-cut melon were on their way to being mushy when I had it for breakfast THE NEXT MORNING, and the Gala apples and bananas aren't worth the price per pound. I made the Customer Service person aware of the flies-in-the-Bakery issue and she said she'd tell the Department manager. Hmmm, shouldn't the Department manager know this already?? She refused to honor the price marked on the packaging of a steak I had picked out. People tell me oooooh Publix is the best. They clearly dont know what a well ran grocery store looks like. This Publix deli is terrible! There's a worker named ZiZi who has the worst attitude toward everyone! She just seems like a grumpy old lady and it's not welcoming at all. I also overheard an employee in the sub line who was actually afraid to ask ZiZi to make a sub for them because of her tude. When I walk into a business I expect a welcoming smile and the same friendly patience that I'm giving them. I just love Publix! Literally everything about it. The store is always clean, the staff are friendly, they have fresh produce, meat, chicken, and even their to go foods are so good!
