If you like Publix subs, which everyone does, you shouldn't have to wait 45 minutes in line to get it. This is because I was second in line. There were only two people in line, me and the lady in front of me. They were making subs for everyone that called in. While we stood in line with no help. I think that is pushing it. So if you want a sub don't, don't go to this Publix. We stopped by this location on a whim because our local Church's and Popeye's weren't open until noon on a Sunday and we wanted some fried chicken. Thankfully, Publix had some freshly fried chicken at 10:30am on a Sunday. The chicken was awesome! We got the eight pack and the chicken pieces were huge. Considering what Popeye's charges for an eight piece dinner, Publix's fried chicken is quite a deal. While we were there, we decided to try some of their freshly made sushi. I know, I know grocery store sushi?! We've been craving something different and I'm glad that we tried some. We bought 4 rolls: the Spicy Shrimp roll, the Crunchy Roll with Imitation Crab, the Spicy Tuna roll and the Crunchy Shrimp Tempura roll. Overall, the sushi was OK. The only one that I wouldn't get next time was the Crunchy Shrimp Tempura roll because instead of crunchy tempura bits on top they added fried onions (a la French's Fried Onions). The fried onion topping ruined the flavor of the roll which was disappointing considering that it was the most expensive roll @ $10.49. Unless you use a huge amount of wasabi and pickled ginger with your sushi, I wouldn't recommend getting any extra because they give you an ample amount with each roll. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised that the sushi was by and large pretty tasty. If you haven't tried the Publix Fried Chicken you should, soon! As a head's-up, I would recommend that you get your Publix sushi at a location that actually makes it because not all Publix's have a sushi chef. Call ahead if you're unsure. read more

OUTSTANDING customer service great people quality products. Personally I LOVE the service at Publix. They are true BOGOs where they don't jack the price up and then offer the BOGO, like some other grocery stores do. "Publix, where shopping is a pleasure", has been their motto forever, and for the most part it is true. The bigger the store, the larger the assortment of products. The small stores have only the top selling brands. I love their BOGO's, when I can't find something and ask a sales person, they will take me to the item or find out if they carry the product. If they are out of the product they will check in back and if there is none in storage, they will suggest a rain check. Staffs are ALWAYS friendly and helpful and appear to be eager to be there. Also a large Greenwise selection, quality meats and bakery. Highly Recommend! read more

This is the only Publix in the south East you will wait over 45 min to get a sub. Its Not because there are 15 people in front of you it's because they wait till there is a line of 3 to start making the 15 online orders they ignored for the last 45 min. It was not the first time . I suggest ordering online at this location. Or drive 3 min to Missouri Ave., Location or gulf to bay location. And one more thing if you are going to order more than two subs. I like this Publix.it's not my favorite Publix store but it's right up there in the top three. The employees here seem generally helpful. As you walk down an aisle you'll be asked "May I help you?" Publix is the main grocery store in Central Florida but not all Publix are the same. This is the cleanest and friendliest of the Publix. They are always asking if I need any help. There bakery is amazing and the produce guy is helpful. They seem to try harder. read more

Clean, efficient; a good shopping experience. We've been here a number of times when in the Clearwater area. It's an easy store to navigate and the staff is very friendly. The last time we were here, the woman at the deli was outstanding. She let us try everything as she sliced it. She went a bit over on one item and gave us extra "samples" to ensure we had the amount we requested. The guys at the checkout were friendly and conversational as well. Even asks us if we need help bringing the items out to our vehicle. Grocery shopping can be a chore. This place makes it less so. Thanks! read more

Picked up a wedding cake on Saturday, July 20th, wasn't expecting alot since it was only 321.00. Once I saw it, I was amazed. This cake was incredibly beautiful. The service was amazing. I will definitely be back for any of my cake needs. Oh, and the cake was.so moist and tasty. The baker wheeled it out and helped us get it in the car. Loved the experience. read more

The manager ( I'm assuming- wish I caught his name, sorry) came to our rescue. Suggested Tofutti but wasn't completely sure if it was vegan; he found us again and he had took his time to google it and make sure it was vegan. I like this store as the folks are friendly and there are usually bogo's and a good selection. I went in today just before 5 with the intention of buying some ready to eat chicken soup. The container was empty. I asked if they were going to make more and the response was 'probably not.' C'mon guys, I know this is Florida but some of us do eat after 5..... Update 12-17-18, still mo soup after 5. The called-in deli orders are nowhere near ready many times and other Publix stores have a better selection. I love Publix. I just tried an Apron recipe. Parmesan-crusted chicken. The instructions were easy to follow and the store Apron staff were helpful and the ingredients for the daily recipe are in one place. The staff was very helpful in explaining techniques and cutting the measurements to fit my needs. I love love love this Publix!!!! Everyone is so AMAZING here - from the baggers, to the cashiers, to the mangers I have yet to have a bad experience! Being a couponer at times I get funny looks from cashiers but not at this Publix. A few cashiers see me coming and insist I come through their line - I must say that is very refreshing!!!! I live only 1 mile from two other Publix yet choose to travel 3 extra miles to go to this one! Keep up the great work EVERYONE - you surly make shopping at Publix a pleasure! read more
