This Publix has a large deli section. The only thing it does not have is an olive bar, which is only available in the newer stores. Gretchen in the Deli is now full time, which is a good thing. I often ask for 1/2 lb chunks of cheese and as it turns out, Gretchen is the ONLY Deli person who can cut cheese straight with a knife. It's a skill. The produce section is well stocked as well. It's one of the few Publix stores that has fennel. The seafood section has fresh lobster tails, another item you don't see in most Publix stores. read more

Have ordered deli subs online and always comes out great. Has a list for all kinds of condiments - more than you'll probably need! And a box to tell them about special requests - like extra Mayo or mustard etc. They do a great job! read more

Why bother to call ahead, when you get to the store and the order is all wrong! So you have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for them to fry the correct order of chicken. Publix, get your act together I know it's hard to get good help, The person reading the order and doing the frying also has to read English too! read more

Called in an order for sandwiches. Got there, no sandwiches. Showed them the order email confirmation. They had me get in line behind all the other customers because they 'couldn't find it.' Will be getting my sandwiches elsewhere. read more

Prices way to high. The bread is now shorter then used to be for same high prices for Bread. This particular one always seems to be snippy with their employees. Bogos are the only good thing, I tend to find bogos for items I would normally buy and when I do no limit on how many. Lots of parking on either side in back or main parking out front. And they really need to change way they have their baggers pack groceries, I've seen them have to much and to heavy especially for elderly. read more

Wow! What a pleasant surprise! It was my first time to stop by this Publix. It's located in the southeast corner of the intersection of Bryan Dairy Rd. and Starkey Rd. in Seminole, Fl. It's in the Bardmoor Promenade shopping center. If you're driving on Starkey, it can be a little difficult to spot behind the trees. The interior is expansive, fresh and clean. This store had a definite up-scaled feel to it. Their deli section was conveniently close to the front of the store. The take-away readymade food looked appetizing. Overall, I was very impressed with this Publix location. The folks were friendly and helpful. The store was spotlessly clean. I can definitely recommend this store. In fact, I might just go out of my way to shop there! read more

I purchased a beef rib roast for Xmas dinner. It was advertised as a Choice beef rib roast with the rib bones separated and tied back on. After cooking it I realized the bones were never cut loose. I really struggled to cut eight nice portions (they looked chopped up). I called to see if I was wrong about the my expectations - I was not. Didn't even get a I'm sorry just that he had boned and tied all that he did. Very disappointed. Next year back to Whole Foods. read more

I used to enjoy shopping at this location, it was neat, clean, and always a pleasant experience. Recently, however, customers are ruining the experience. Is there a reason for anyone to shout to each other from aisle to aisle? Is there any reason for a parent to ignore his/her three school-age boys while they run screaming up and down the aisles? Why do couples need to argue and make a spectacle of themselves? At 36, my niece and nephews (3,5,7,8) would never behave in such a manner with me or their parents. If I wanted the Walmart experience, that is where I would shop, but I doubt management will do anything, so I will shop at Whole Foods. read more

I used to love this Publix. Came back for the first time in months after moving away and was VERY dissatisfied. I was mortified by the behavior of the popcorn chicken man who decided to debate me on how many ounces was in a pound (I was right). He even went to the extent of pouring the entire container into another container to try and prove his point, and then he was wrong again. He then proceeded to overcharge me for chicken tenders too. On top of everything, they were out of raspberry lemonade. This was a nightmare from Hell. read more

Don't bother ordering ahead and showing up on time to pick your sub up because it won't be ready. You'll be standing around with a dozen other people waiting on your order. I had this same experience at the Pinellas Park location so I thought I'd give Bardmoor a try. Come to find out they are all the same. Once again out the door with a refund and no sub. Thanks Publix. This is my favorite Publix ever!! Growing up in Florida, I have a very strong sense of loyalty to Publix. It's where my parents got my deli meats for my school lunches in middle school, where I go to get birthday cakes for friends' birthdays, and definitely where I go when I want a good sub [must-try: the chicken tenders sub or the ultimate] or bucket of fried chicken. Every Sunday, we'd end up coming to this location. The deli department here is always well-stocked and pretty fast. I suggest their Ringleader platter if you're looking for something to bring to a party. The bakery department here is always well-stocked too! Their sprinkles or semisweet chocolate chip cookies are a must-try. They also seem to have a greater assortment of cakes here opposed to other Publix locations. This location is also huge for a Publix, which are normally pretty big to begin with! The organic food section here is larger than most Publix locations and they rarely run out of high-volume items, especially the BOGOs. Although there are other Publix locations closer to our house, we always make the trek to Bardmoor because the location is just that good. read more

Store impecabbly clean, havs tons of variety of various products and they always do a great job of decorating the store for various holidays. Their salute to Veterens this year was over the top. How sad, I typically make the extra drive to this publix because I like it the best but I will no longer be doing this. Let's start with at the cashier- I asked to pay half cash, half credit. The girl told me that she could not do that because I didn't have exact bills???? She also wasn't sure exactly how to do that! Apparently if the register cannot compute change it's too hard to figure out. Then I get home and start to cook dinner and BOTH boxes of pasta I bought were INFESTED with bugs. Being a business owner, if it was my product infested with bugs, i'd want to know. I call publix & a man named "Corey" picks up. I tell him I just bought pasta and it's infested with bugs, he says , "well bring it in & we will refund your money". CLICK. He hung up!!!! Just like that!!! He clearly has ZERO care for customer service. I called to complain to the manager and she said she'd "take care of it", but never asked his name or brand of pasta either. How pathetic. Please train your workers to be little faster when making a sub or slicing deli meat. They are ridiculously slow...even when not busy.

Absolutely have always loved Publix, particularly their high caliber customer service. With that said, I had to make a quick Publix run on the way home from work, so I did not have my kids with me. My son asked me if I could pick him up a cookie while I was there. I am a 215 pounds short guy, so I knew that the Baker would look at me funny, but because I knew it would make my sons day I asked anyway. The Baker refused and said that my son would have to be present. This was my first experience of extremely poor customer service from Publix in general and the Bardmour location specifically. I grew up connecting trips to the local grocery store in the north with the feeling of taking a family field trip everytime. There was a warm and cozy feeling in the stores, cookies to sample, hostess brand sweets to pick out for my lunch box, many locally made and grown products to throw in the cart for a fair price. Today it's a bit different as the times have drastically changed our lives. Publix prides themselves on spotless stores, a perfected uniform appearance in every location and kind employees dressed in waiters garb. My favorite product that they sell are their crueller doughnuts, only because they seem to be one of few products made there, not trucked in. Many other products I question the nutritional value on that they sell. All that glitters isnt gold. An example is the parfait style desserts in the bakery. Most of the laundry list of ingredients are artificial from the colors to the flavors. One has a form of titanium in it which is also in deodorant. I understand Publix is a staple to Tampa Bay however they can learn some valuable buisness tips from their competitors when it comes to rethinking about being a big box store. read more
