The first time I was there it was pouring raining & even though it's covered, I got soaked in the Florida "Sun Showers" we often have here hahaha. The coolers they have under this covered little market are full of everything from Gator meat to locally sourced fish, like Grouper & Snapper but they also have wild caught salmon & sushi grade ahi tuna etc., They also carry Wagyu burgers & steaks etc., I had the Wagyu burgers they are very good. They also have tons of other beef, pork & chicken. Even chicken feet. I also like their local country sausage OuiOui. The Amish eggs they sell are from an Amish farm, the best ever & the raw cow yogurt is magnificent. The really great thing they do here is the Sourdough bread they are making, it's the best I have found in the area. All of their baked goods are fabulous but the Organic unsliced sourdough boule is AMAZEBALLS OuiOui :).. The other Amish/European Market down the street also has fabulous sourdough bread but it's pre-sliced. This one here is so much more sour & I love the size & shape of it. Very artistically crafted. Where do I start... on Sunday I placed an order using the plus membership I pay for. It was due at 6pm. At 9pm they text saying it would be here at 9:10pm. It never arrived. At 10:30 I chat with support who assures me there was an error but my order would be here at 7am on Monday. It still never arrived!! At 8:30 I get a message that I need to reschedule so I did. It said my order would be here between 12-2. It again never arrived! I called support, an hour on the phone & the girl "jennifer" called the store & spoke to Jace the manager. Jace assured her he would make sure the order was delivered on time. Except he failed again! At 2:30pm I get a message it's running late but will be here by 3... nope! Wrong again! I called the store with the info Jennifer gave me to follow up with Jace. This guy was not even there! Some girl that barely speaks claimed "they were really slow so he took a break" excuse me!? You have orders from 2 days ago you haven't filled but you're slow!? Yeah, it's not the store that's slow... yet I wait! The order still NEVER arrived! So we get to Tuesday & I'm still waiting! At 7:30pm they canceled & say my $200 will be refunded in TEN BUSINESS DAYS!! So not only are the staff incompetent they've also stolen my money! I've also paid for a service that they failed to provide! They also claimed they shipped the soda off my order then canceled that the next day claiming it's out of stock. How is it out of stock if they shipped it the day before!? More lies!! I had 3 managers insist it was being delivered yet not a single person in this store understands the meaning of the words they speak. My comments have been a BLOODBATH with people requesting I try the Publix Mojo tissi. I made enough money off the tiktok creator fund to afford a flight to Tampa and back, so I thought I should reinvest it in my own business. I got off the plane and called an Uber straight to Publix. I got there and they only had 1 Mojo flavored tissi left. I felt like that was God winking at me, saving this bird just for me and rewarding my hard work. When you work hard, he throws you a bone sometimes. I got the bird and took it down to the water, and began tearing into it. On the first bite of the breast, I completely understood the hype. Tender, flavorful, great skin, etc. The leg followed suit, and this was truly an elite bird. I sat there in the Florida sun, seagulls circling me like vultures, appreciating life and the calm Tampa energy. It was a beautiful little moment, idk. I love Tampa.
