Vegan Turkey Club

It's a mid-size Publix, tucked away behind some trees with a very calm parking lot (compared to the total mayhem up at the larger one on R.7 and Glades); they have the full offering of the vegetarian and vegan subs, though our preparer was a little too oil happy

Getting some pub subs

One thing I missed about publix while being in LA is the pub subs if you have not had a pub sub then something is wrong they ate the bomb dot com. Chicken tender ones are always on sale and are forgo. You can order your sub online an pick it up. Best supermarket in the us

Publix has one of the best delis in town. All of their locations that I've tried are fairly consistent. They use Boars Head products in the deli and are they delicious! I like Pastrami, Roast Beef and Baby Swiss Cheese among other deli treats. Publix breads are great also. I particularly enjoy the fresh Chicago rolls for sandwiches but all the breads are classic. Lettuce and tomatoes from the Produce department are first-rate as is the fiery Chipotle Gourmaise (mayo and chipotles) or just plain old mustard. To go along with your sandwich they have Macaroni Salad, Lays Potato Chips and Deli Potato Salad--New York Style. So creamy and wonderful. Top it off with a kosher dill pickle and you're all set. Now, I'm starving for a deli sandwich and am ready to go to Publix! It's a terrific way to put out a deli spread for lunch. You can't beat it! When you request your order, they give you a slice to try before cutting the full half pound or whatever to see if the slice is too thick or too thin. It's a fantastic system. I get enough to eat for 3 or 4 days when I go to Publix. We are lucky to have a grocery store like Publix that has such wonderful items available at your fingertips on every other block. In addition, Publix has a wide variety of magazines and a full Pharmacy that features free antibiotics. I love to go there just for lunch items, but all of their grocery items are first-rate albeit a little more pricey than Winn-Dixie. Publix is a terrific grocery store! My first choice for quality food!

I have had several issues with ordering subs online, very rarely do they have it by the promised time.

Everything about Publix is great except for finding a parking spot, watch out for old people backing out.

Extraordinary standout professional customer service with a touch of friendliness makes this a special place. Why would I go to another drugstore and wait in line? The staff even knows my name!

Was a huge customer of this pharmacy for at least 10 years before (TJ the owner) became more…read moreignorant than normal. It's been basically the staff that have kept this business going because they have all been nothing less than great. It hasn't had a soda fountain for at least 8 years after his wife decided she didn't want to work anymore, It's very important to know that TJ refuses to honor any drug manufacturers discount programs and when I had registered for about 8 or 9 of my prescriptions with these programs, one day, after supporting him for many years with up to 15 prescriptions monthly, he cowardly (wrote on the back of a receipt) advised me that he thought it would be better if I changed to a national pharmacy because he had lost too many prescriptions as a result of the discount programs. I couldn't believe his arrogance of acting like a petulant child because he was filling less prescriptions especially in these times of excessive costly medications. He proved that he has no compassion whatsoever for his customers and not really very suprising since not even once over many years did he ever so much as greet me with a Good Morning, or even an acknowledgment of any kind. He's in his own little world and sadly, on multiple occasions I even witnessed him berating his own loyal staff. I support independent businesses because I've had many of them over my lifetime, but not everyone is deserving of the opportunity. TJ has no soda fountain, and barely a pharmacy. Sure, to his credit he owns the building and sleeps upstairs but walking in the store, the shelves are near empty, stocked with one or two items maximum of every product, which is an embarrasment, as it clearly looks like a dying business. It was quite common for him to be unable to acquire a prescription because he's lost his supplier more than once so now he has to settle on whoever he can get. and even with all of this, I was the loyal customer, all for nothing! If you want to be treated as a $$ sign, instead of a customer then this is a good choice of pharmacy. But for myself I'm happy to have taken his advice and moved onto a national pharmacy which is aboit 1/2 a mile from home instead fo the 18 mile round trip I used to make, only to support a local, ungrateful business owner!
