Ask for Tracey, at the Cumberland Publix Catering - she does not disappoint!
Kat R.

Have you ever had such amazing customer service that you want to share your experience with the world? Well, I will start with Yelp. I also plan to call the corporate office to compliment Tracey, who is the Catering Consultant at Publix at Paces Ferry Center. I was attending a group event and asked to bring a desert. From the minute I called until I picked up my fall decorated cookie cake, I knew I was in good hands with Tracey. She was on it! She was super helpful, answered all my questions, and called me by name. I went the next day to personally pick up the cookie cake, and there she was! She was so nice, I chatted with her forever. And, the cookie cake was such a hit with the gals at my event! It was only $22.00 and fed a large crowd. Yay! Five Paws Up review for Tracey and Publix Catering. This store is my favorite as well. Shopping really is a pleasure!

Lane and cashier info.

Let's start by saying there is a reason some ware earbuds. Cashiers was extremely rude and told a co worker don't speak to him he has earbuds in. (I understand some come to register on phone etc.)(Don't put everyone in the same boat, some are fighting battles you know nothing about)I proceeded to explain I am 80% deaf in my right ear due to a explosion when I was young. This helps me hear clearly in crowded areas. Second-The lady bagging my things drop them on the floor, and they looked at me as I picked them up off the ground with my hands full. I love eating my food after it has been in the floor... Horrible customer service.

Gross onions

This Publix has by far the WORST produce of any Publix I have ever been to. I left entirely after trying to get onions, Brussels sprouts, lettuce, avocado, and tomato. All of them were brown wilting and moldy. I have had this experience multiple times and it's always a miss. Publix, do better

Deli action

This Publix has been one of my very best experience in the history of shopping at Publix in the globe. They have EVERYTHING. Including prestige customer service and attention. It all started at the deli section. I requested a sandwich with only one other person waiting. Section was not busy at all. My request was simple. To make a sandwich using rye bread Publix brand. At first I was told that it couldn't be done with the Publix rye bread. or I would have to purchase a loaf and then they could make it happen. It was discouraging at first, until I brought my story to the manager Chiana. Chiana introduces me to Lanette who assist in the Deli department. Let me tell you she step up and handled the business. She made a perfectly good sandwich just the way I requested it. And she smiled and chatted with me during the process. Mind you I was very hungry. At the end I thanked her and walked out to pay. On the way to the register Chiana, the manager approached me and said that the sandwich was complimentary. While I was there I did some shopping, made my way to the produce section where I picked out some fresh limes cilantro and red potatoes. All fresh and arranged to find easy. The store is well lit and on every isle there are varieties of each product and its competitor. Lots to choose from in short. The wine section is Amazing. Stocked with commons choices and rare imports this place has what it takes to take things to a new level. Cheese(one of my weaknesses) was stocked with all brands popular to undiscovered; my favorite that they have in stock is "Saint Agur Blue". Best blue cheese on the market imported from France. I plan on making this store my go to market.

Burgers, chili, bolognese? So many possibilities but I'm too tired now to cook

This Publix location is conveniently located near the corner of Cumberland PKY and 285. It was updated a few years ago. They carry major staples but limited healthy options. Publix is the slowest adopter of major grocers to add new items and healthier food options. +. Ambiance is bright, big, clean and busy with nearby residents, professionals who work nearby and travelers stopping off 285 and 75. There's an open sit down resto (self service) next to their Deli that is unique. +. Food-wise, they have all major departments as expected less gelati station. = Flower department is small but fresh and conveniently located as you enter the store +. Cheese has 3 sections - conventional packaged, specialty cheese deli and specialty package behind the cheese deli +. Deli has 4 contiguous area: cold cuts, sandwich counter, prepared sides and hot foods like fried chicken. They also have a self service prepared food bar. + Meat section is large, carries 2 brands of grass- fed beef and a butcher behind the counter. =. Seafood section is small but adjacent is a sushi chef...Fresh rolls + Dry goods is standard American and big...snails pace slowly adding healthier options = Dairy is large but missing and extremely slow to add healthier options. Almost all brands but missed healthier options from those suppliers. No organic pasture raised eggs nor non-soy protein plant based milks. = Produce is large but not the freshest...much prepackaged but does have a small organic section + Pharmacy always has 2 people and are helpful ++ Frozen section is big, well organized and where I buy my veggies and plant based protein burgers + Price is competitive as other majors ++ Service is above average and friendly. Some cashiers are new and provide lip service only and really don't help. However, stockers and people within the departments are very friendly and helpful. + Parking lot is shared with other retailers and can be tight during traffic hours This Publix is suburb sized, high traffic, clean, above average and services socio-economically diverse shoppers. Publix corporate is probably the slowest adopter of food trends so expect well stocked standard but not recent food trend items. MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane - - Disgusted - Don't bother = Missed the Mark + Good ++ Better +++ Edible...where have you been all my life!

Great Publix supermarket. Clean, bright and well stocked. I was amazed at how many of their folks asked me if I needed any assistance.

I needed to grab a few things…read morethat I had forgotten to bring on my trip to Atlanta and I found this Walgreens just a couple blocks away, so I decided to make the short walk over from my hotel to grab them. It's located right on the corner of North and Piedmont avenues, next to a grocery store and some apartment buildings. There's a parking lot out front and security at the door. I went straight to the makeup section and then grabbed some snacks. It's definitely an outdated Walgreens, but it did the trick. The one employee I interacted with was really nice, I wish I would have gotten her name. I'm sure it fulfills its purpose for the neighborhood.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The customer service at this Walgreens is deplorable. To come in and…read moreshop is one thing. To order through the app (which is equally deplorable) is a whole 'nother level of disappointment. I ordered 5 things for pick up through the app. 1) The order got delayed. Ok, no problem. 2) I go through the online prompts, which said that I could pick up my order through the drive through--great! I get to the drive thru and wait a few minutes, because I can see that the employee was helping other customers. After about 5 minutes, I press the call button and tell him I'm here for a pickup order. He dissapears and comes back, saying he doesn't have it. I repeated that it was a store pickup order, and he says "oh, I'll be right back, it's probably by the photo section." There's a huge mirror on the window and I could see that he was in the back of the area (where he thought I couldn't see him) filling prescriptions. I pressed the call button numerous times and no one answered, so I drove to the front and went inside, frustrated. I waited another 5 minutes at the photo area to retrieve my order. The employee (a different one) said that she was wondering where I was--even though I selected that I was going through the drive thru online. She brought me my order and I got in the car, but something told me to check before I left...keep reading, it gets better! I open the sealed, brown paper bag, and it's someone else's order. None of the things I brought were in there. I walked back to the store, steaming at this point, and told the employee that this was not mine. She blames it on someone else and then says she'll be back. What I didn't realize was that she was going around the store, shopping for my stuff. I would've cancelled my order had I known she was doing that (because they were "out of stock" for a few things anyway). She came back, put my items in the same crumpled up back, and said here you go. I know this was long, but this was a terrible, awful, ridiculous experience from top to bottom. So many things were awful, from the lack of communication, to the neglect, to the inattention to detail. I will pretend this place doesn't exist from this day forward.

I walked in to the pharmacy a few days later due to the weekend, the tech started the conversation with "we don't hv this in stock." she brought it to the pharmacist (Derrick Chapman) and he advised they don't either. I stated that my doctor called prior to me driving over on this side of town and you stated you did I told him the doctors name and he agreed the product was in stock and he would fill the prescription. he proceed to ask more questions and to advise me that I was wrong I should hv said my Dr. called a few days ago which I was kinda taken bk by in addition to the pharmacy tech and other conversation going on about the prescription. let's just say a lot was going on with the pharmacy and anyone would be shocked by the activity. in no way did I present myself aggressive , rude, or defensive, the pharmacist stated that I rolled my eyes and to "get out and leave immediately due to my attitude and rolling my eyes." I was taken back and shocked at the refusal of service for a pain medication I'd never been on and needed due to a major car wreck. I literally stood shocked because I didn't know what went wrong and I definitely didn't present myself in that manner. to be black and refused service in 2024 from a white man for something that didn't occur (eye rolling or attitude) that I didn't hv nor ever present myself baffles me. you didn't want to fill the prescription to begin with, Derrick Chapman just looked for a reason as a private pharmacy not to do it, irregardless of how bad I needed it. I'm aware of the episode epidemics however I've never needed one or taken one. I understand how some customers may get however I did not. i was just in shock how the pharmacist can refuse and hide drugs that are needed. you could hv clearly looked at my file a saw 100% zero epiode prescriptions in my name. this is the most racist experience I've ever had. but then again it's hapeville.

Today I bought a set of birthday week surprise boxes--a set of 7 colorful miniature boxes for someone to open each day on their birthday week (or likely the week leading up to their birthday). Each box is supposed to contain something joyful, like maybe a little popper or a birthday message. Currently the seasonal items they have out include UGA football, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. There are also sections of wedding, baby, and birthday themes items, as well as things that are good for a "just because" gift. Needing to pick up a prescription from my doctor, I ended up at this Grant Park CVS. Unfortunately,…read moreI think that it'll be my last visit to this particular location due to a few reasons. This CVS offers tons of great parking as they don't share the plaza with any other businesses, which is great in my opinion. No scrambling or scuffling for spots, just park and go. Although, if I didn't see cars in the lot, I'd think that this place was abandoned or on its way out of business due to the lackluster exterior views. Beyond the CVS sign on the building, there's little to no signage on the exterior door, causing it to look like no one's home. But of course they are. I've visited this location a few times before but recently the small inner portion of the entry has almost made me turn around. It's a small little section that only includes a complimentary sanitary hand wipe station (it was empty) and a strong scent of urine. Like, it hits you right in the face. Not a great impression when you walk in. But, I kept pushing. This store seems to rely mostly on self-checkout which gets no complaints from me, I prefer it actually. Looking at the shelves, there are a number of items that seem as though they just decided to stop restocking, leaving bare spaces in some areas. Perhaps it's supply and demand, but those shelves could use a little TLC no matter what. My most recent visits were focused on the pharmacy and can I say how much of a bummer it is to not physically feel well, decide to pick up your prescription and see that all of the pharmacy team is out to lunch at once? Lol. That team works hard and deserves even longer than an hour, but I so wish it was staggered lol. I will take most of the blame because perhaps if I had called, I would have known but if you've ever had a prescription at CVS, you know that they will badger you via text until you pick up your meds so it hadn't even crossed my mind. You all told me to come! LOL. So when I returned a few days later, I timed myself to be sure that I came after the pharmacists and techs were back from their lunches so I wouldn't be struggling and leaving without my meds again. There was a little line once they opened back up, but that's to be expected. I appreciated that they had 2 chairs available in the area, but both were in the drop-off section and there were two elderly women in front of me in the pickup line that really could have used that seating near our line. Although there were 5 people in front of me, the pharmacist(s) were working at rapid speed. The young lady that helped me was so friendly and incredibly patient with an older woman in front of me who had issues with her prescription. This 3-star review doesn't reflect the customer service and professionalism received by the pharmacists, they deserve 5-stars and a longer (staggered lol) lunch! Although my entry into the building and the lack of restocking have made me move my prescriptions elsewhere, the pharmacy team themselves are A1.

Well, this place get's my infamous 3P rating. Piss, Poor, Pathetic…read more Yet again, I showed up early, checking in for my vaccine appointment, and yet again, no one bothering to call me per the directions from the text that I used to check in. Not many people in the store, I sat in a chair, right by the pharmacy for 20 minutes. This has always been a poorly run CVS that just seems to work on a routine of low motivation and no care of basic customer service. This is clearly a management issue and the current one needs to either be seriously retrained or replaced. I ended up leaving in frustration and to prevent me from chewing someone out. The last thing I need is a person sticking a needle in my arm after criticizing them. If you look at the average two star rating, you can see the consistency in how poorly this location is managed. Don't bother wasting your time here. There also have a problem with transients hanging around, living in the bathrooms, and bothering people while also casing their cars.
