This pizza is pretty good! I usually like a thinner slice so next time i'll have to try their thinner pizza. It's always very good though and recommend the white pie!

Ordered takeout here and I have to say it was not noteworthy. The pizza crust was the biggest issue amongst our party of five. Each crust was strangely identical in size and shape. Additionally, it was thick and flavorless, which led all of us to suspect that it was pre-made. Not impressed.

The prime rib, mashed potatoes, asparagus and salad bar was delicious! The maple ice cream was so good. Definitely recommend fir a great meal. We were visiting from New Jersey

Always a great spot for some pizza, wings or motz sticks! They have a huge bar and a decent size area for table service. It's usually busy inside so I like to order over the phone and pickup. Furthermore, everyone is always super friendly. We come here all the time especially when we don't feel like making something at home.

Haven't been here in while. Pizza for lunch

Haven't been here in over 20 years and the place is exactly the same. Pizza was good. The double white pizza had ricotta and mozzarella and just the right amount of garlic. The classic cheese was good. We got two 4 cut pizzas and they were a good size with enough to take home. There is plenty of parking. The staff was attentive.

I finally decided to try The Publik House after hearing great things for quite a while. Tired of the same old thing, I am always looking for a different taste but its quite a haul from my apt so I always put it off. It was a Friday night so they were quite busy when we arrived. But there was only a minor wait so I helped myself to a bowl of popcorn over by the bar. It totally reminded me of going to Ground Round as a child. For dinner I ordered an appetizer of hot wings extra crispy and an 8 cut pizza. When I got the wings I realized I should have just ordered them normal, because they were actually a little too crispy. Not really their fault but I am used to most places not frying the wings long enough so I've gotten in the habit of ordering them well done. They were still very good and were more of a southern fried wing than buffalo. The sauce was a little light so I would ask for extra sauce next time too. The pizza was above average and nice and crispy on the bottom. It was big enough to feed me for about 3-4 meals.

Awesome pizza just ask for crispy....small establishment but waitress friendly

Tomato soup. Yes, tomato soup. The common ordinary comfort food, plain, predictable, uninspiring…read more The soup that warmed us up as kids, was the fallback when there was really no time to cook lunch, yeah, good ole tomato soup, we all know its story. Enter the chefs at the Ripe Tomato. No canned Campbell's or Sysco soup for them. This dish (I believe it was called Tomato Soup with Dill and Crab) comes to life in the Ripe Tomato kitchen from scratch, with chunks of tomato and some onion, a bit of dill, and a generous amount of crab meat. I asked and yes, it IS real lump crab meat, not that pathetic imitation stuff that some think can be sold as "crab". Add in a pinch of dill, and whatever it takes to make the soup delightfully creamy without being thick and pasty, and the creation is ready to serve. This dish above all else demonstrates my long held belief that superb cooking does not need a French name, unpronounceable ingredients, an hour's waiting time, being served in some sort of exquisite china by snobby haughty waiters, to be magical and engaging. Ordinary everyday food, and nothing is more ordinary and everyday than tomato soup, can become an experience and not just part of a meal; an amazing surprise that rocks one's understanding of what dish can and should be; in the hands of a talented and inspired chef. The Ripe Tomato has become our favorite lunch spot in the Tri-Cities. If we went out for dinner, it would be our favorite dinner spot. Warm, homey, welcoming, without pretense or glitter, when we walk in the door we feel at home. The place is real and enjoyable. Service is excellent, prompt, always considerate and friendly. The service is such that it is easy to feel that you are at your friend's place, and they made some special meals that they want to share. Lest you think that culinary excellence is going to cost an arm and a leg, I had an enormous and delicious order of quiche for an entree with my soup; my wife had a large Bahama Salad with enough tender juicy chicken for 2 meals, and the price was the same as 2 burgers at Red Robin. Granted that would be 2 of their fancier burgers, but tell me - what would YOU rather eat? I am running out of time here, but I want to assure you that the entrees live up to the expectations generated by the soup.

Very disappointed -- not only with the dining experience itself, but with management's complete…read morelack of response afterward (2 unanswered emails via their website contact page).. I brought my mother and her friend to Ripe Tomato because we had always spoken highly of it, and her friend had never been there before. Unfortunately, it turned into an embarrassing experience after all the praise we gave it. My mother ordered the pot roast, which was supposed to include carrots and rolls. The meal arrived without the carrots, and when I politely asked about them, the bus girl rolled her eyes at us. The carrots finally came after my mother was basically finished eating, and the rolls never came at all. Our friend ordered the Haddock Almondine, which was missing the mashed potatoes that were supposed to come with the meal. Again, attitude when we asked about it. To top it off, I never received a place setting when we were seated, and when I asked for one, the same bus girl slammed it down on the table. I do want to say the waitress herself was pleasant, and I understand restaurants can be short-staffed and mistakes happen. Missing items can be corrected. Rude behavior and dismissive attitudes toward customers are a different story. What disappointed me even more was that I attempted to bring these concerns directly to management privately before posting a public review. I sent two polite emails explaining the experience, and both were met with complete silence -- not even the courtesy of an acknowledgment or response. A little professionalism and customer service would have gone a long way.
