    Pepperoni pizza

Excellent pepperoni pizza and the service was great! The ambiance was chill and clean. The staff are friendly and the food was fresh. I had ordered the pepperoni pizza and it tasted like a classic pepperoni pizza and reminded me of NYC pizza. The sauce was flavorful and great! The grandma was also good. I think I finally found a good spot!

This is definitely a great place to eat from. Kind of small for eating in. If you and a buddy want to grab a slice at lunch time you're good to go. For more than 2/3 people for a quick bite order it to go. There is a bar along the window that seats 4 and 2 tables that seat 2-3 each. That being said the food is awesome. I loved the sub and even though it was a little more expensive than the average place they definitely use quality meat (seemed to be fresh sliced per order) and gave me the extra tomatoes I asked for. Drives me crazy extra tomatoes still usually means the sub does not have them end to end. Great place. Will be back to try other things here when in the area. They also have cheesecake from NYC I was tempted to get. Maybe another time.

Here's a full sized steak sub. I paid 3$ extra for those peppers...

used to be ok. then they got cheap. gross gross gross. don't bother trying to resolve any issues. they'll put a teenager on the phone to blame you for their mistakes. disgusting food. disgusting service. first time in ten years ive needed to charge back my cc.

I LOVE Napoli's! I am always happy with whatever I order. The grandma pie is my absolute favorite! Full of flavor, amazing fresh mozzarella, and nice crispy crust. You will not be disappointed!! Greek salad is also full of flavor and fresh veggies.

This is the real deal. We stopped on our way home tonight to grab some slices at the new place. I have been seeing the posts on Facebook about the family recipes and ingredients and while excited, I was afraid that I would be disappointed. This was not the case. Both owners were there working on this Sunday night which I think says a lot. There were samples of fresh zeppoles to be tried and while I am not above being bought, it wasn't necessary. They were delicious and spoiler alert, everything else was too. We grabbed a slice of cheese for our toddler. I wouldn't typically order plain cheese but this was delicious. It really was some of the best pizza I've ever had. It was incredibly flavorful and tasted extremely fresh. The crust was perfectly cooked, not too soft not too crispy. The buffalo chicken pizza is the first time I've ever tasted one that actually tasted like chicken wings. The buffalo was mostly missing but I didn't miss it although I could see some being a little mislead by the name. They are confident in what they are putting out and they should be. They also carry juniors cheesecakes, the real juniors cheesecake. I'm concerned with how close I live to here. They have plans to expand to lots more food too, definitely give these guys a shot!

As a girl born and raised in Brooklyn New York I know good pizza. Since relocating to the capital district I have tried to find good pizza (like really tried. Currently pregnant and wanting nothing but pizza!) and unfortunately was repeatedly disappointed until tonight. We ventured over to Napoli's pizza after placing a to go order. Upon walking in I smelled the deliciousness of authentic pizza. I felt transported back to NYC. the guys working in there were super nice while I waited for my pizzas to finish cooking. Upon coming home we tried the pizza and I am so happy to say we'll definitely be back! Good quality ingredients, awesome crust and great sauce. Try Napoli's you won't be disappointed !!

Got seated right away in the "Lake Room" and got served right away. The Lake Room has a nice view over Saratoga Lake, and the ambiance was good for family dinner, except for a couple of loud tables that made it hard to hear everyone. I had a bourbon Manhattan that was perfect - not so dry that it tasted like a glass of bourbon and not so much vermouth as to make it too sweet - and really smoothed off the afternoon - then a glass of St Francis Cabernet to go with dinner. Appetizers were pan-fried mozzarella and the Shrimp Limoncello. The mozzarella was "Made with Our Fresh Homemade Mozzarella, and Breadcrumbs, Served over Marinara." Light, slight breading and fried just enough with a perfectly sweet complementary red sauce. The Shrimp Limoncello was "Three U-10 Shrimp Sauteed with Roasted Garlic, Roasted Heirloom Tomatoes and Limoncello, Served with Grilled Bread." Shrimp were cooked just right, not overcooked, as happens many times with shrimp, and the tomatoes and bread were complementary and tasty, but the limoncello was a little too much lemon, not enough cello. (a little more tart than we liked) 2 entrees were the pan seared salmon over risotto with a request to undercook the salmon somewhat, which they honored, and it made the salmon very moist and tasty. The Roasted Garlic and Basil risotto was excellent - rice not overcooked, perfect with a deep warm roasted garlic flavor. My Eggplant Parmesan was prepared the old fashioned way with thinly sliced eggplant properly drained and sweet with an ultra thin breading fried just right with a delicious marinara sauce and plenty of mozzarella, served over house-made spaghetti cooked al dente. Ample enough to have half for lunch the next day. Oh, and I had a side order of broccoli rabe - slightly bitter, as it should be, with ample garlic flavor cooked perfectly. Excellent. The fourth entree was Shrimp Aglio E Olio - "Sauteed shrimp, broccoli rabe, roasted tomatoes, in a garlic and olive oil sauce. Served over spaghetti." Once again, large fresh (not meaning not previously frozen, just clearly not old) meaty shrimp cooked perfectly - still moist with some crunch with a wonderful pungent garlic sauce over that perfectly al dente spaghetti. My daughter loved it. Also enough for lunch the next day. Desserts were homemade tiramisu and lemon ricotta cake with raspberry sauce and whipped cream. Tiramisu was classic and delicious. Lemon cake was a little dry but tangy and tasty, especially with the full-flavored raspberry sauce. We only get to Saratoga in the spring and fall for the rowing races, but this will be our go-to place for post-regatta dinner any time we're around. Very very good. Not cheap, but one doesn't mind when it's well worth the price.

The common ordinary comfort food, plain, predictable, uninspiring…read more The soup that warmed us up as kids, was the fallback when there was really no time to cook lunch, yeah, good ole tomato soup, we all know its story. Enter the chefs at the Ripe Tomato. No canned Campbell's or Sysco soup for them. This dish (I believe it was called Tomato Soup with Dill and Crab) comes to life in the Ripe Tomato kitchen from scratch, with chunks of tomato and some onion, a bit of dill, and a generous amount of crab meat. I asked and yes, it IS real lump crab meat, not that pathetic imitation stuff that some think can be sold as "crab". Add in a pinch of dill, and whatever it takes to make the soup delightfully creamy without being thick and pasty, and the creation is ready to serve. This dish above all else demonstrates my long held belief that superb cooking does not need a French name, unpronounceable ingredients, an hour's waiting time, being served in some sort of exquisite china by snobby haughty waiters, to be magical and engaging. Ordinary everyday food, and nothing is more ordinary and everyday than tomato soup, can become an experience and not just part of a meal; an amazing surprise that rocks one's understanding of what dish can and should be; in the hands of a talented and inspired chef. The Ripe Tomato has become our favorite lunch spot in the Tri-Cities. If we went out for dinner, it would be our favorite dinner spot. Warm, homey, welcoming, without pretense or glitter, when we walk in the door we feel at home. The place is real and enjoyable. Service is excellent, prompt, always considerate and friendly. The service is such that it is easy to feel that you are at your friend's place, and they made some special meals that they want to share. Lest you think that culinary excellence is going to cost an arm and a leg, I had an enormous and delicious order of quiche for an entree with my soup; my wife had a large Bahama Salad with enough tender juicy chicken for 2 meals, and the price was the same as 2 burgers at Red Robin. Granted that would be 2 of their fancier burgers, but tell me - what would YOU rather eat? I am running out of time here, but I want to assure you that the entrees live up to the expectations generated by the soup.

Unfortunately, the night fell well short of expectations. The evening started with the usual downtown Saratoga parking battle no fault of the restaurant, but worth noting. The free lot was full, it was below zero outside, and by the time we arrived we were already a bit rattled. We were seated promptly with our reservation, which was appreciated, but the dining room was ice cold. Tables are packed extremely close together; close enough that we were essentially part of the couple next to us on what appeared to be a very uncomfortable first date. If you're looking for an intimate or romantic dinner, this is probably not the place. The wine-by-the-glass selection was very limited only one cabernet option and the overall wine list seemed designed to push diners toward very overpriced bottles. Our server was slow to come over and didn't know the specials, which didn't help set the tone. We started with the spicy calamari, which was decent but nothing special about a 6/10. It was a bit chewy, which is disappointing for a restaurant positioning itself as high-end. For entrées, we ordered the salmon and the strip steak. Both were cooked properly, but overwhelmingly salty. If you love salt, this might be your dream meal. For us, it wasn't enjoyable we didn't finish our dishes and discarded the leftovers entirely. Maybe it was an off night for the kitchen, but given the cost and overall experience, we won't be returning. Saratoga has far too many excellent dining options to justify another try. We'd much rather spend our money at 15 Church or Chianti Il Ristorante, where the food and atmosphere have consistently delivered. Disappointing overall, especially for what was meant to be a special night out.

We enjoyed a delicious martini and the bread they put on the table. For our entrees, my mom got the Rigatoni with Chicken and Vodka Sauce. She said it was great but the sauce didn't look anything like Vodka sauce. I got the bolognese and my mom said the sauce in mine looked like vodka sauce. In any event the food was good. The place is pretty small, packed with lots of tables so it's bustling, it's loud (not a bad thing), and there's a lot going on. The one negative about it being a small place is that unfortunately we had to listen to a server complain to one of the managers for about 5 minutes about another co-worker and that was definitely not what we wanted as part of our experience. This place seems to care about presentation, as they are obviously a popular place to go in Saratoga Springs so this was definitely a little off-putting. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience by any means. Just a few little kinks to work out.
