I have been a long-time customer and have always been satisfied with this company--until my most recent rental. On move-out day, I opened my unit and was shocked to find all of my belongings covered in pollen. The pollen had even seeped inside sealed boxes, and when I moved everything into my new home, the pollen tracked inside and created a huge mess. I even had to visit Urgent Care to have my eye flushed because of the exposure. When I contacted the District Manager, Chris Moss, he was difficult to reach and slow to return calls. When I finally spoke with him, he didn't seem concerned and simply said he was sorry. He never asked to see the photos I had showing the severity of the issue, and when I suggested inspecting the unit to prevent this from happening again, his response was that it couldn't be done because it was "not pollen season." I later reached out to corporate, but the only response I got was "we're sorry" and that I should "read the fine print." No one showed any real concern about the issue with the unit--or the risk that others may face the same problem. For reference, this was at 10104 Capital Blvd., Wake Forest, NC 27578, Unit B060. The only positive part of this experience was Laquanda at the front desk--she was kind, professional, and very helpful throughout my rental. Beware before renting from this company unless you don't mind your belongings being covered in pollen. read more

This Public Storage in particular rocks! They were very informative and the process was great! Very professional! I will surely highly recommend them! I store a sports car there and other items and my unit was perfectly clean and spacious! read more

Unfortunately I was not able to view the storage unit before I rented it. It was NOT SECURE. The only thing keeping the door shut was the sliding lock plate into the wooden door frame. All other locks on the door jamb were broken or torn out. This is NOT worth it. Highly recommend you visit the facility first to see what you are renting first. read more

Nice storage. Air Conditioning in the storage units works very well -- much cooler than the maximum allowed. Friendly manager, Michael. He quickly had a repair done that I requested. Easy to get in and out of (with passcodes). Requires you to have a specific kind of cylinder lock, which I had to buy. But I'll save it for the next time I need storage. read more

Initial rental service was quick, easy, friendly & thorough!! My initial impression is very positive. Rented a climate control 10 x 10. It was clean & in great condition. On site personnel, Michael, was friendly & helpful. When he had me inspect the unit prior to signing up, we discovered a burnt out light bulb. He changed it on the spot so that I could start to put my things in the unit immediately. So far so good! I'll update as we go along. read more

While shopping around for a great deal I found the Stickman road location. I was contacted quickly regarding my reservation and set up with an appointment. I was even given a reminder call the day before my appointment. Michael was very helpful from the moment I walked in. He knew tenants by name. I had a very good experience renting a unit today. Michael, the general manager was very thorough and informative in explaining the rental agreement, prices, and availability. The location is very convenient and access is very easy. I was able to use my cylinder lock from my previous unit, so that saved me almost $20.00.
