My friend and I came to this storage for the first time on 1/14/26 to look at his grandma's storage. It was getting close to closing time as we were trying to wrap up to be out on time. MATT came by, I'm assuming doing his closing rounds. He came by and asked if we were ok? If we needed anything? Obviously, we were struggling on how to lock the unit, lol. He walked over and showed us how to lock it. Afterwards, he was very patient and said, now your turn. He wanted to make sure we knew how to use the lock. In our conversation, he gave us his sincere condolences. Gave us some recommendations and options on how we can handle the storage moving forward due to her passing. MATT was very polite, attentive, genuine, kind, patient, with great sense of humor too. GREAT customer service!! read more

I rented a storage at the march lane public storage facility.the gentlemen's name was Matt that helped.its been a while I learned there's an app for your phone to access property.he helped me program the app and answered any questions I had.I left the property and had to go back and thank him because I wasn't having a good day and he made the experience easier,I know figuring out the app on my own would've just pissed me off lol. read more

Hey, My experience was a nightmare. Let's just say I was made to feel suspect in a Unit "I" Rent with My Wife... To top it all off there's a roach infestation down the hall and now we're starting to see roaches in our own unit. So as you know you can salvage anything so it's over. read more

So far, so good Everyone knows storage spaces can be expensive. But did you know that PS has special pricing online? You can get 1 month free or your space 1/2 off monthly and other savings. You also can pop in and out during feasible business hours, unlike PODS where you have to make an appointment days in advance to get something as simple as Christmas ornaments or a set of skis for the weekend. DON'T USE PODS!!! I have made trips to PS and used the touchpad. I received an email stating I didn't have to get out my car for the gated entry. I can unlock the gate through the app. I loved it!!! With the storms coming through who wants to get out their car if they don't need to? Not me!!! This is my 2nd PS and I like the staff here. I forgot the code and the manager was available to share it with me. They are truly about security, which I like. She asked to see my ID, confirmed my identity and my storage unit. Clean but the door to the B area gets stuck and the property manager is never there and NEVER answers the phone and if you call customer services it's a 30 plus minute wait time if you have questions regarding your account. read more

I have a unit here and I've had it for approximately 2 weeks now I showed up this morning to drop off a few items only to find out that my unit and about 10 other units in (b) building had not been broken into but almost broken int. there could have been measures to prevent this and there wasn't. I couldn't get into my gate one day and the manager I assume, was on lunch I left a message on the voice-mail and she called me very polite and I really appreciate the help she gave me in 2021 it's rare that people have that level of respect anywhere so I appreciate it very much . This PUBLIC STORAGE IS HORRIBLE , do not waste your time here , the young lady that work here is very disrespectful she had her family staying in the back I've stood outside for a hour waiting on her to come to the door I'm am pregnant standing outside in the hot heat waiting for her to come to the door , then when I asked her you seen us standing out side you could've just told us something , she said I don't have to tell you guys anything I'm on my break . The clock in the door clearly said 8:00 , even before the security officer came and told us she was made a run to the bank , but she comes with her friends . Linda(Manager) at the Public Storage in Stockton, Ca(March Lane) was professional, understanding and super helpful. We rented a truck to move some things out of storage and when we got there they were closed, Linda was kind enough to come downstairs and let us in to do what we needed to do. She was so much more helpful than the previous manager. If we ever need storage again, it will definitely be with Public Storage. read more

New management sucks and is very rude. The manager Ashley called me today to complain to me about how my husband is not allowed on property when im authorizing my husband to put things into my storage because I cant do it. Ive been with this storage for over 3 years now and all of a sudden hes not allowed 3 years later??? Wtf??? Seriously. The manager was supposed to give me the district managers but hung up on me. How unprofessional. Seems like she doesnt know what shes doing. You guys need to hire smarter people with better customer service if your going to change management. Someone needs to get back to me with the district managers number. This is ridiculous. read more

When you are researching using this service they are great. When you move in they are great! When you need support either from the corporate or local office, they are simply not there. I have been renting a space here for several months. In this period I have left three voice mail messages with technical problems and received zero return calls to my number which has voice mail. I have written to the corporate office twice through the "Contact Us" link on their web site and received exactly zero responses. I have no SPAM filter. Beware of one possible manipulation tactic which I called/wrote about and never received a response. My email invoice for the first whole month had not arrived by the day before the due date and I knew they had my correct email address because they had already started sending me unwanted emails. Having no invoice and the next date being the due date I faced eviction if I didn't make an immediate payment. I left a voice mail at the office that morning (a normal business day and wrote the corporate office because there were several accounting errors in my account. By the close of that day I heard from no one and had to do something, so I set up autodraft which I didn't want to do. My contract stated that my payments going forward would always be X. X was not enough to make the monthly payment so I phoned and wrote AGAIN. The autodraft happened and paid my bill that month. The next month it paid the CORRECT amount, NOT the amount that the contract said it would. Still I never heard from anyone after almost 2 months. The monthly invoice finally arrived ON the due date, which is way too late to be timely. It REALLY looks like a manipulation to force people into autodraft which saves them money, so just be aware of all this. However the rented space is still there, so they do provide the physical services contracted and move-in was an excellent experience. After move-in experiences have been mostly negative. My space was broken into and resulted in identity theft. This wouldn't have happened if they instructed renters how to place the lock INSIDE the hasp where it cannot be cut with bolt cutters. I informed that I never received any such instructions and if they cared about their customers, they should print a brief instruction to distribute to all current and new renters. Never happened after a year. I also reported that the combination lock on the back door to one of the buildings didn't lock and anyone could open it by just pulling it open. I reminded them three times over the next year. They finally repaired it over a year later. All in all there HAS to be a better more concerned place to store your things. Update: We have been there 2 1/2 years and out unit got broken into a second time. The back door combination lock to the building was never repaired that I could find which may well be a contributing factor. Either way, getting broken into at a rate of once every 10 months isn't very good. read more

Came in today to upgrade to a 10x10 unit and the employee Joe was dope. Had a great experience, Joe was very friendly and helpful. Had some trouble fitting my mattress in the unit I had yesterday, so I came in today and upgrading was nice and smooth. No hassle. Definitely recommend coming here for your storage needs. Prices are very good compared to other storage places and you can't miss the promotions. Well deserved 5 stars. read more

Front office staff is always very friendly and helpful, letting me borrow tape or scissors when I need them. I've never had any problems with this storage unit except for the time it was broken into. But if you want to keep your stuff in a very inexpensive storage facility located in Stockton, that's the risk you take. read more

I honestly had such a great experience at this public storage thanks to the person working front desk, Joe. The customer service was amazing. The day before, my friend and I were having trouble fitting his mattress in a 5x5 storage unit. We went to upgrade to a 10x10 the next day and Joe made sure he took care of us. He took the time to walk us to the unit and make sure the mattress would fit. He's such a great character, very funny and entertaining. But, he also crunched down on the paper work and disclosed everything we needed to know and handled things professionally. Very great work from Joe. read more

I've only had my storage unit for a month. Before I even moved in, the manager asked me to leave a review for her on Google right while she was standing in front of me and before I even had an actual experience with the facility (surprise surprise, it has perfect 5 stars on there). Now after a month I'm able to leave an honest review. My unit was broken into despite it having an overlock from the facility. Inside my unit was everything I owned and 90% of it was stolen. It's obvious my stuff was stolen by another tenant since you need a code to enter through the only entrance. There is only a camera in the front by the gate and in the office, and there are no cameras anywhere near the units so there's no way to identify any robbers. Management told my friend that this is a common occurrence at this site yet you don't see that online. Management also did not do anything to help with the aftermath of the robbery and also took no responsibility for lack of security in the facility. I thought I could trust a big name like Public Storage to safely store my belongings in but it had only been a month and I lost almost everything I owned. Highly regret storing my stuff here. Would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

It's a big hell no. They advertise $1 first month but when u get there they say nope 50% off but after they tack on fees and force you to buy their lock and insurance it's basically no savings. You call and leave messages they never answer but if you call the 800 then they answer if you select new accounts . It's ridiculous they blow your phone and email up for 11 bucks but can't answer the phone. It's a scam and a hustle. They tack on so many fees it's like renting from El Chapo #hatedit UPDATE after paying 200 a month anyone I go to vacate , they won't prorate or refund you money for early vacate AND THE FUCK ALL MY FURNITURE HAS WATER DAMAGE! Omg I could've left it outside!! The girl ASHLEY MOVES LIKE A TURTLE she didn't care at all about the damage. It took her 30 min to walk back to my unit where she's asked me WHERES THE WATER. Omg really? But then they told my insurance they had a "water intrusion " in JANUARY had they called me maybe I'd have save my stuff rude poor customer service and very deserving of getting punched in the face. They are lucky I'm civilized. I have insurance but it's not enough. My parents are deceased some if that was there's and they didn't give a shit! This is the worst place don't do business here and that chick Ashley is young but moves like a damn turtle damn girl MOVE she's like slow motion. Nobody ever call me said nothing I hate them. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. In the beginning it was a pleasant experience very professional and courteous. I have used them twice. The first time no problem. Second time all was fine until I decided to cancel the insurance on my unit. (only had holiday stuff, movies etc overload stuff that I couldn't fit at home) As soon as I did that my unit gets broken into. I find it to much of a coincedence that this would happen only two weeks after I took my insurance off the unit. The entire time I've had the insurance no problem. The funny thing is that who ever broke into my unit left another lock on the door. Since when are thieves that courteous? to lock up the stuff that was left behind in my unit. Why not just leave it open? Just be careful if you still decide to rent from here. And I never Yelp but this is unacceptable. read more

I think the woman who helped me, Wendy, was very helpful on me & my husband looking for a storage. My husbands military and we have been trying to look for storages for our belongings to keep in until after his deployment, we didn't end up needing it after all in the end but I'm just really happy about how nice & professional she was about the whole thing because honestly me & my husband have always been back & forth with storages in different states & people were so rude & disrespectful! so i never knew storage places, in general, can be so high in demand. really... called a bunch of places, got quotes, and so happen that this place had an availability. ashley helped me and she was super nice, didnt try to push on a sale, knew what she was doing, explained everything. the only thing is if you need to either have renters insurance or get their insurance; its mandatory... uh... i never knew that. call me ignorant. another thing is (which i shouldve pointed out but didnt but ill do it on here) is that you gotta double check the rolling door because its pretty flimsy and can get knocked out of its side rail -_- they also changed management so thats good. a bestie of mines also rented a place here (way long ago) and said that the old lady manager was crazy and didnt handle things professionally. the biggest downfall is that if i wanted a bigger size, its super expensive, so a promo for those would be great, but of course, thats up to the company, and we all know how that goes. so, yeah, i might rent here a few months, well see. read more
