They call my phone after each visit to ask me if everything is okay. I do not need to be babysat. If there's a problem I would reach out but since they keep calling let's talk about the roaches all over the place. Why are they're people camped out in the bathrooms? Why are the doors sometimes propped open? Why are the doors sometimes locked despite being a 24 hour facility? They are looking for issues, well I've found them. You're welcome. read more

I was charged and lie to about the free reservation. It was supposed to be free with "no obligation" but instead was charged 53.80 and was promised a refund from the lady at the location which I never received. Was tricked into reserving a unit, which I never used and they made it hard to cancel because there isnt a cancellation online or in the app. instead you have to change your move out date to the date you are to move in to have any sort of "cancellation" these people are dishonest read more

I currently rented the 5x5 storage with climate control, it fits perfectly all my stuffs. The staff is very helpful when we checked in.

The facility is good, but beware. After you sign on, you are hit with unexpected expenses and monthly increases. "We rent on a month-to-month basis. Corporate has the right to adjust pricing based on the market." After almost a year, they upped my rate from $44 to $101. They insist they mailed advanced notification, yet I did not receive it. I rarely leave reviews but I felt compelled, due to the fact that this experience is so upsetting ... I rented my unit online without any issues. And Via the website the photos shown are of a "newish" and clean facility. That is not what I got.... upon opening the unit my heart sank. The ceiling is caving in and has been taped with masking tape, you can see mold on the ceiling, and obvious water spots on the cement. It looks unkept and dirty ( without trash or dirt present on the floor). The only reason, I put my things into this unit, is I'm moving out of state and didn't have the time or resources to find an alternate storage option. I was so upset, I felt it necessary to get a tarp to cover my things, place Rodent poison/traps, insect repellent, and moth balls to help protect my belongings until I can move them. Not a great feeling. With that being said I can not recommend this company. Never met the owner/ manager so I can not speak on him or her. Wish I could leave pictures .... The worst customer service I've experienced. They close at 6; I arrived at 5 to get a unit. The lady(property manager at that) told me that she wouldn't rent me a unit until the next morning because they close at 6??!!!! What???? It's 5 right?? On top of that she was very rude. I would have had to spend another $60 for another day on the rental truck but I found another storage place. Public Storage will never have my business again. In fact, I will be moving my current unit with Public Storage to my new storage company. Thank you Public Storage for introducing me to a better storage facility. read more

Security is nice but no 24/7 access is less that perfect. Hire a night guard and make it 24/7 gate access. Gate codes are generated per user not universal. This keeps a virtual log of every entry and exit. One entrance, full view 0 blind spots in entrance alley(50% of facility). 100% accountability == 100% secure/accountable. Sign up during a special(christmas 50% off) and get the largest insurance($24 = $5000) coverage cost is less than half the amount saved = full insured unit for 25% off. on site manager, or one very reachable on phone to location not 3 miles away. Can pay at any of the 10,000 locations or online(per company advertising) Staff very friendly and helpful. Had no problems whatsoever. Even had a lock on the unit before I even had to pay for it and got to inspect the unit. Can't store till initial setup of payments and first payment. Then personal gate code is generated and added to the entry list. Can grant access to any number of people to have access. Need only specify either initially or add online through account access. use info given at unit purchase to create an easily manageable account. Convenience through simplicity. Above = personal account. I don't work here. I am a veteran. I served four years in the airforce and was Honorably Medically Discharged in Jan 2012. I am an object oriented programmer. My credit card was stolen last month. I called repeatedly to get the information updated because I was out of town and no one would return my calls. They hit me with a late fee. I paid it and updated my information with the office and guess what... they didn't update it. I am getting hit with another late fee because they did not update it. I called to complain and Lisa, the lady running the office, hung up on me twice. She would not let me speak. She only wanted to say that it wasn't her fault. She couldn't figure out why I was upset. Anyways, steer clear of this place. They are rude and can't keep the bookkeeping straight. read more

We're preparing our home for sale and just needed to declutter. I booked online and accidentally set the move-in for the wrong day. I talked to Christine and she was so understanding and accommodating. She got me setup for the correct date, looked at the unit with me to ensure it fit our needs, and thoroughly explained the access codes, times, billing schedule, and provided me info on boxes, packing supplies and moisture reducers. I cannot express my frustration enough with the company. Public Storage is an embarrassment at all levels. I booked a reservation online after visiting the site weeks before we needed to move in. The day before we were moving in the manager Nicole called me to inform me that our unit was rented out. She wanted to know if we would be interested in an inside, upstairs unit. Due to the amount of stuff and the size of the items, this was not an option as we required drive up access. I asked Nicole what happened to the reservation that I made weeks prior, and she informed me that it was not a reservation. It is only to lock in the price even though on the website it gives you the option to hold unit, reserve your unit now. When I made my original reservation, someone contacted me and I specifically asked if there was anything I needed to do such as putting money down. They informed me that I did not need to do anything further; my drive-up access unit would be ready for me when I arrived. When I then asked Nicole what my options were now, she informed me that the only option was to have the upstairs unit. Keep in mind, this whole time that Nicole is not friendly and makes it seem as though it is my fault that this happened. When asked who else I could speak to above her, Nicole informed me that she was the on-site manager and she made the decisions. So, I contacted the corporate office and talked to MaryAnn in customer service. MaryAnn informed me after reading in the notes that the site did indeed mess up and rented out my unit by mistake. When I asked who I could speak to about this to help get it resolved, she gave me the contact information for the District Manager, Thelma . I left multiple messages and still have not had a call back to this day. After waiting all day with no call back, I again called back the corporate office, informed them that I had yet to hear back from Thelma, and at this time they gave me the contact information for Roger, the Regional Manager, where I again left multiple messages and, like Thelma, have still not heard back from to this day. At this point, I'm desperate because our entire home is in storage trucks heading that way and I have nowhere to store it. I was surprised by the way Nicole handled the situation, but after trying to get a resolution by her boss, and her boss's boss, it is clear where she gets her leadership from. Spend your hard earned money with people that value your business, and that is not Public Storage. read more
