No one is ever working. Key broke inside the lock on my unit and went to try to talk to someone but door to door office was locked and no one there on a Sunday afternoon. Do not store your belongings here. High risk of theft and not necessarily cheaper. I paid less for an indoor space temperature regulated in the Bay Area. There are drug addict encampments circling the area. The fencing is low. There are also strange characters (unhoused, addicts, mentally ill) who store their belongings there. The camera was broken and the manager said it was vandalism. It had been over 1 month it had been broken over December 2025 and the camera still not fixed leaving the entire row of storage units vulnerable to theft. My unit was in that area. Previous to that my gate latch was pried open and the staff didn't check the gate, nor give me a form to fill out or recommend to file a claim with the police for an attempted break in, nor let me change storage units. I had to wait for the manager to return from vacation to change units a few units down. When I moved my belongings 6 months later, I found out about 6 boxes of kitchenware or $500 of belongings were stolen from my unit. It would have had to take at least 30 minutes for them to rummage through my things find the boxes (labeled kitchen) and put every thing back so I wouldn't notice them. Without security cameras or an on-staff night security guard, it would be incredibly easy to steal from all the units on the row. In addition strange characters who have units there lurk around the units. I spoke with one tenant who said it was getting really bad with the unhoused addicts living next door and storing their things there. DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS THERE. read more

Funny how you could say, oh no. What could we improve for adding only one star? I got a whole list of things. First off, you had a special rate going for online.Only that was $120 for a ten by twenty. The rate didn't even last 5 months. Before you jacked it up by fifty dollars. There is no type of lighting nearby store unit. There's no lights at all, and even though there's a light in the unit, it doesn't help. There's never anybody in the office to help you with anything. And when you sign up for your storage unit, they don't give you any paperwork, so so you don't or can't read anything that says you guys are just gonna jack up the rent at all. Storage units period are a cash cow, and I get it. You gotta make your money, but you should also be good to your people who stored their stuff there. But you're not, and that's why I will be out within three months and you will never see me again. read more

Since it was my first time renting out a storage unit Cheryl helped me walk through the steps on what it takes and what size unit would work perfect for me she went out of her way to clean out the unit even mop. No stars if I can. One guy from customer service was great told me he was going to transfer me to an employee at the location because my mom of 65 had been waiting on someone to talk to all morning. The lady I was transferred to was very rude not helpful at all and to top of it wasn't even an employee it was another customer agent. She suggested she can go to another location to pay but why would she have to do that if she's there already? And if employees are to busy doing other stuff maybe hire an extra employee to stay in office . Or have a sigh up when they're coming back. read more

This place is absolutely insane, My Mother Janet Louis who is disabled and has a limited income has been doing business with this place for 5 years. Now all of a sudden they want to add illegal excessive fees over $600 worth. My mother has her bank statements listing her payments made and yet they cant justify which months she owes for. This place is a complete scam. Cody, or corporate won't help her either which further justifies their scam. Liz who works in the office admitted to us that it doesn't make since what they are doing. Smh...My mom can't even access her payment history in her online account to prove that the payments were made, like they locked her out of that part of her account. Dont do business with this place, their out to get you for money or to sell your stuff. read more

I don't even feel like they deserve any stars...one of the worst companies to do business during this time...charging late fees for people who can't work right now and are waiting on the government. Not offering any flexibility on paying your rent. Not willing to work with their customers seems ridiculous during this pandemic. I would expect more from big businesses. Shame on you!! read more

The one star is for the customer service which should actually be a five for Elizabeth and her service. The low rating is because someone broke in to my unit and emptied it out. Stole everything. I was called by Elizabeth to ask if I had changed my lock because she noticed a different lock. She added her own lock on it and I went down there. The lock that the thief put on there was gone and she unlocked and opened my storage and it was empty. While I was there I noticed them cutting the lock off of another storage while a woman and her three kids were standing there and her storage was emptied out too. Additionally two other units had to be relocated. Cameras only on the outside. People living out of their units and sitting in the parking lot in their trucks like it is a coffee shop. Elizabeth was very helpful with the situation however something needs to be done here. I have insurance but it does not replace my kids baby pictures, my deceased dad's military accommodations and medals and all of my only important things to me. Suggestion is not to even consider this place unless you can afford to lose everything! read more

I did not actually get a storage at this facility, but I was in the process of doing so. The receptionist (Sky) was very rude. It might have been because I called right before her lunch, but either way she was not customer service friendly. She told me she was going on her lunch (I called at 1:30) and would be back at 2:30. I told her that I was going to check at another public storage but she said that they would be on their lunch as well. I decided to go either way and there was someone still there in the office (public storage on calvine and stockton). He was super polite and was able to help me get a storage room. He left for his lunch at 1:45 and said he would be back at 2:10. This makes me think that Sky did not want to help me just because in 15 minutes she was going to go on her lunch. I'm sorry, but that is not good customer service. read more

Signed a contract for an 11.5 by 24 foot space. I get in from out of town with my kids stuff on my 20 ft landscape trailer it wouldn't fit....because the space was actually only 10 by 19 ft. Staff was all attitude and wouldn't lift a finger to make things right, regional manager did not return my call. Folks already renting there should get out their tape measures as they are paying for space not received. read more

Being a former KTP for public storage in the bay area the first place I thought to go for moving supplies was of course public storage. We made 2 trips, the first trip, was pretty uneventful, very little communication from either the gentleman nor the gal at the office. We got what we needed and left. Second trip, we walked in and were immediately greeted by a very pleasant woman named Merlinda. She was gracious in explaining the benefits of each item without being too pushy. She gave really good packing ideas with the tall wardrobe boxes and sold me on one when I thought I knew exactly what I needed. She was absolutely right, the tall wardrobe box was perfect and it turns out she was right about needing a few boxes than I probably thought, although we made do without it would have been easier to have a few more. Merlinda mentioned a couple times the benefit of buying at least 10 then you get a bit of a discount. Thinking back I should have listened, she is obviously very good at her job and understands the product being sold. Thank you Merlinda for the wonderful customer service, you definitely have an edge over the 2 individuals we dealt with on the previous visit. I would absolutely go back and purchase from Merlinda. I would walk out and buy elsewhere if she were not in the office and it was the other customer service lacking employees. Thank you Merlinda 5***** 's for you! read more

Actually Zero stars!!!!!!!! I cannot believe that people are giving this place 5 stars?! Are they being paid to give this rating?? This place is infested with ROACHES! Yes customer service was great, but I had my stuff there for 2 nights and then went to get something and saw a German ROACH right away. Then I got scared and packed my car with as much as I could take, so that my stuff wouldn't get complicated filled with the roaches. Got home and the first box I opened, TWO ORIENTAL ROACHES come out! My husband stepped on one, the other got away. I had to call an exterminator the next day and have them spray my garage. Then I had to call a mobile detailer and have them come vacuume my car out good. Then I had to shake all my clothes out and wash them in hot water at the laundry mat. I spent over$100 and lost 3 days of my time cleaning stuff. And my things were only there for 2 nights!!!! I still have 2 boxes there and I'm debating on if I should rent a truck to go get them or let the storage place just have them and never go pick them up..... ugghhh I also will be calling the manager and corporate. Do NOT go here unless you want ROACHES. read more
