During the move, a woman from the office called to ask how things were going. I shared my concerns about their apparent lack of experience and how long I thought it might take to move my three-bedroom home. Her response surprised me. She said, "Well, we can cancel your move if you'd like." I replied that I did not want to cancel and that I would simply have to stop the move once I reached my budget. Shortly after our conversation, she sent me an email stating that if the movers were not treated well, they could cancel the move. This completely caught me off guard because nothing in our conversation suggested that the movers were being mistreated. I responded asking where that was coming from, and she replied, "If no language, then nothing to worry about. Wishing you a great day!" I later posted a review about my interaction with her. Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that my move had been canceled. The office instructed the movers to leave my belongings in the driveway. I was mortified. I called and pleaded with them to have the movers put my belongings back inside the house. I was told they would only do so if I deleted my review. To avoid being left with my belongings in the driveway, I reluctantly removed the review. We then paid the movers directly in cash for their time, as none of this was their fault. I waited over a month to post this review because it took an unusually long time to receive my deposit refund. I would be very cautious about booking this company. My experience with Paula was extremely disappointing. I don't know why she was so aggressive, but this is not the type of customer service or business practice I would ever want to deal with again.

I scheduled a move fairly close to my move date and they were able to come out same day for a quote. The quote was very competitive and came with a large trailer. The day before the move she called to let me know something was preventing the trailer from getting to us but that they'd provide two trucks (more room) no charge instead. The crew was very friendly and efficient. They wrapped our items well as promised, packed the truck thoughtfully, and worked hard. They showed up on time and delivered on time. Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

Then I got sick with kidney stones that forced me to rest. I decided I needed help and called the owner. He sent 3 employees who came to my old apartment in South Natomas. I've never used movers before, so I stacked all my heavy, heavy bins, one large book case/shelf, my queen mattress, lots of clothing, my dresser I've had for 20+ years, my son's tiny dresser, and other miscellaneous items. They were very thoughtful and communicative. I felt so bad knowing that they arrived to the new townhouse apartment that is 3 floors inside and they managed through heavy and light to carry everything up and down. Truly, I am grateful for the 3 that came today. They even kept light spirits with jokes with 4th and 5th floors! They were also courteous and took photos of any bumps in the home prior to loading. The apartment townhouse did have a small chip from the paint prior moving in. If I move within the state again locally, I will definitely request their services. Also, I paid via Venmo. They accept multiple types of payments. My goal is to move one county over into El Dorado County. Highly recommend!!!

Wow! It's been six months since our move. These guys were great. What did get moved was handled carefully, packed in their truck so none of it shifted and off loaded into a mobile home up a flight of stairs no complaints. They were fast and moved three generations of property in the gentlest manner, some of the pieces are antique, which is appreciated. They spent about 3 hours and though neither my hubby nor I remember exactly, think it cost $90-100. If we moved again we would use them.

I used Yelp to get several quotes and I picked Sacramento Brothers because they had the best quote and quick communication. They showed up the day of the move on time and got right to work. The truck was packed before I knew it without incident. I was also leaving a couple things behind and they were thoughtful enough to move them downstairs for me. They showed up at the new place quickly and started unloading ASAP. I had leaf a couple things I needed across town so I left them to it. By the time I got back they were finished. They quoted me a 3 hour minimum and finished just before 3 hours. They didn't try to pad the time at all and the bill was exactly what they quoted me. I'll definitely use Sacramento Brothers next time I move and they even offer a small discount for repeat customers. You should definitely at least get a quote from them if read all this.

The team communicated with me over email and provided a pre-move questionnaire along with an initial estimate. That initial estimate was literally half of what another highly-rated company gave me (and it didn't include a bunch of "gotcha" fees like a $75 fuel surcharge and $90 for wrapping up some items). Steve called me a few hours before expected to let me know that their morning move had some complications, and that they'd be a little bit later than anticipated. He also gave me another call to let me know when they were on their way -- I greatly appreciated the communication! Upon arrival, Steve and Sean walked through my house with me so I could show them what was staying in the house and what I would need moved. They confirmed the estimate, and got to work immediately. It was over 100 in the miserable Sacramento County heat, yet they powered through it with their great senses of humor and outgoing personalities. They were able to safely and securely fill the 26 foot truck within two hours. Upon arriving at my new house, we walked through so that we could get a common terminology for which rooms were which so I could direct where the furniture would go. They were able to unload everything in under 90 minutes, even with the difficulty of getting a couch around a tight corner -- without making any scuff marks like they were concerned might come up. From start to finish, it was the four hours that they estimated, and before they left, they had me talk to their boss on the phone to make sure I was satisfied. As you can tell by this essay I've written, I was more than satisfied with the incredible job they did and the care they took in moving things into my home. Great prices, great employees, and great care all add up to a 5 star review for me.

We did call the owner to ask what happened. We also got our insurance company involved. Owner didn't call my husband back even when we made a few attempts to find out what happened . We simply wanted to know what went wrong with some of my valuable items that didn't make it to our new home.
