I moved to Folsom but keep my unit with super mini storage because Penny and her staff are amazing. Penny took the time explaining what size unit I'd need and showed me how to utilize the space efficiently with my items. A couple years later I needed a smaller unit and once again Penny assisted with great customer service always helpful knowledgeable looking out for her customers best interest. I recently transferred to a larger unit moved cross country temporarily and have since returned to find everything is as it was when I left California. I'm almost twenty miles from my unit today could move out to another facility closer to home however I won't because I know my things are safe and secure because of Penny and her staff. Kind considerate caring and most important trustworthy. I'm grateful and so appreciative for these people. If you're in need of a storage facility I recommend them 100%. You won't be disappointed I want to thank you Penny for going above and beyond in assisting me with my storage needs and your kindness during the difficult times in my Oklahoma travels. You and your staff are very much appreciated.

Prior to her being the manager it was ran by her uncle Pete & rest his soul in peace. I wish that Pete was bystill here or I wouldn't have gotten 1 of my units sold illegally. On 7/10 she told me that my request to allow me to come up with over Year payment totalling $2000.00 on 7/18/24 or my unit will be auctioned & sold. When I called on 7/18/24 at 9:06am I got the outgoing vm from 4th of July that they are closed this date. I didn't leave a message instead I called again &Val answered. I asked if Penny was available? Val told me she was not in the office & would be back in an hour. I let Val know that My banking institution was not running & I would have to make a cash payment in person. I asked Val to let Penny know & to give me a call. An hour went by & I never got a call from Penny. Penny still wasn't back for the entire day. Next day 7/19 Called 9:05am no answer. I called again left vm for Penny to please call me regarding my payment. Penny returned my call at 9:13am to tell me my unit was sold. I asked her Why did she sale my unit? She said because I didn't pay in time & the guy who bought my unit was there yesterday at 10am sharp to pick up his unit. I asked if she received my message from Val? She said by the time she got my message it was too late. I'm upset & feeling violated & betrayed because she has removed my units from the auction list many times before so I could pay. I'm very disappointed & hurt that she also in the past removed items from another one of my units without my knowledge or approval & told me that my things collapsed so she moved my items into a empty unit that I am not paying on or have a key to access my items. Do not store any items here at Super Mini-Storage in Stockton Blvd. This manager is a thief & not trust worthy!

That's the way they do things. I went ahead and gave all my information, including my credit card number. I chose another place to rent . I never signed a contract. My intention was to hold the unit until the first and then make my decision. But this particular Public Storage chose to charge me. They never contacted me. They never asked me if I still wanted the unit. They just charged my card. This was August 1, I was told by a couple people managers that the money would be returned to me. It's now October 3 two months and two days later and I still haven't received the money back on my card. When I called about two weeks ago, I was told the money would be sent to me in the form of a check within 4 to 6 weeks. To avoid getting screwed by this company, I would definitely not rent there. And also I have never left a review good or bad for any busines in my almost 40 yrs of life. So with that being said. I got this unit do to a domestic violence incident in my home I had to take one load and grab as much as I could, everything else of mine and my 3 children was left behind. This is now all we own. Including our vehicle that I shared with him is all gone. Which means getting to and from our unit has been a struggle all in itself. We finally had time and made ride arrangements since the 100 degre weather made taking the bus just not doable With 3 small kiddos. it's been two months since my kids have set their eyes on the little things that make them smile. When we got there the office door was locked it was well past 1 pm and I was told by the employee that she had just started her lunch and to come back in about 30 mins .. I was ok with the request since there was a store right near by that we could go to and stay cool in. An hour later We came back to the office locked again and noticed her on the golf cart moving fast past the gate ..we called to her but I guess me and my babes weren't loud enough? So in the very hot sun we followed after her and finally caught up, to be told she meet us around the other side. Finally she stopped and took my payment info RIGHT THERE OUTSIDE IN THE 102* temperature ? Didn't offer to take us inside or some cold water .. nothing. At that point I'm still ignoring the strange vibes I'm getting. After the payment I asked if she could get into our unit since my purse was recently stolen. I don't have my keys. And, That was ok, No problem she said she'd meet us at my unit in a just a few mins. Thank goodness my unit was actually in a hall way where it wasnt over 100 anymore but still easily 90 something still not ideal for my kids at all.. So tell me why we sat there for almost 30 mins just waiting.. For her to come back and let me know she can't find the drill I'll have to come back in the morning at 930 when they open?!? might sound simple ... if I owned a car.. So NOw I'm irritated, and upset. And hot the kids are hot.. still no offer to cool off in the office or nothing. By then my phone was dead im sweating and we all have to use the restroom so head back to office once again it's locked we have to ask thru the door to go potty. And this is where Im just super confused. As soon as we walked in her attitude changed and seemed annoyed that we're there. Like she don't want to deal with us. Barely lets me and the kids use the rr. And says something about another customer messed up the bathroom had to call plumber .. ? Ok. And then when it's my turn she says something like I'm not sure what your doing in there but I'm gonna have to ask you to get out of the bathroom .. my kids were standing in the door as I was using the sink/mirror to wash the the SWEAT OFF MY FACE. and do my best to reapply some of the make up I lost in the process. Saying that I need to leave now because I didn't move fast enough and some other very weird comments making me feel super uncomfortable like I'm a crack head (no judgemt To any "crack heads") and I'm trying to take over their bathroom. I was in there a total maybe 6 to 7 minutes, and had the door open with my children for half of it. It's all on camera so I really hope I can find corporates number because the way my children and I were treated was beyond unprofessional it was degrading and embarrassing. Treated with no respect as customers or AS HUMANS IN GENERAL? I was in tears as I had to tell my kids to step back outside in the 100 * weather as we waited for a family member to pick us and empty handed with none of our items we came for. The stress this lady caused was so unnecessary and ugly that here I am actually writing about it. Hoping someone can do something about this ? I pay my bill I mind my business and I work in customer service.. I KNOW THAT THIS WAS VERY WRONG. People like that should not exist in that type of work. Im A human with feelings and I didn't deserve that treatment nor my children ..being decent/kind shouldnt be hard. And I have a lot going on in my life and today this was my tipping point. Im sitting here still very upset. Wondering what I did wrong to be treated as I was . wOrst part is I have to go back to that place some how in the morning and see that person again .. to try and get to our belongings smh.

***DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE DESERT MOUNTAIN RV***…read more We dropped our 2021 32' Sunseeker with Desert Mountain RV in July and left the keys with the front desk attendant. We returned recently in late August and asked for the keys. The same attendant looked extremely flustered, as she was unable to locate the keys that were supposedly stored in an UNLOCKED filing cabinet with everyone else's leases, driver's license photos, insurance photos, and other private personal information. The employee apologized and called the owner who apologized and agreed to pay for a locksmith to come build new keys for the engine as well as the side compartment. Unfortunately the locksmith could only replace the engine key, but we were promised that we could send the receipt for the side door and be reimbursed. The side door keys and additional car key (they lost both) cost $675. The owner is now refusing to pay, claiming the attendant didn't lose the key. Why would you pay for the engine key if you're claiming the attendant didn't lose it? Either the attendant lost our keys before placing in the unsecured locker, someone else accidentally received our keys, our an employee stole the keys to use the RV.
