I moved to Folsom but keep my unit with super mini storage because Penny and her staff are amazing. Penny took the time explaining what size unit I'd need and showed me how to utilize the space efficiently with my items. A couple years later I needed a smaller unit and once again Penny assisted with great customer service always helpful knowledgeable looking out for her customers best interest. I recently transferred to a larger unit moved cross country temporarily and have since returned to find everything is as it was when I left California. I'm almost twenty miles from my unit today could move out to another facility closer to home however I won't because I know my things are safe and secure because of Penny and her staff. Kind considerate caring and most important trustworthy. I'm grateful and so appreciative for these people. If you're in need of a storage facility I recommend them 100%. You won't be disappointed I want to thank you Penny for going above and beyond in assisting me with my storage needs and your kindness during the difficult times in my Oklahoma travels. On 7/10 she told me that my request to allow me to come up with over Year payment totalling $2000.00 on 7/18/24 or my unit will be auctioned & sold. When I called on 7/18/24 at 9:06am I got the outgoing vm from 4th of July that they are closed this date. I didn't leave a message instead I called again &Val answered. I asked if Penny was available? Val told me she was not in the office & would be back in an hour. I let Val know that My banking institution was not running & I would have to make a cash payment in person. I asked Val to let Penny know & to give me a call. An hour went by & I never got a call from Penny. Penny still wasn't back for the entire day. Next day 7/19 Called 9:05am no answer. I called again left vm for Penny to please call me regarding my payment. Penny returned my call at 9:13am to tell me my unit was sold. I asked her Why did she sale my unit? She said because I didn't pay in time & the guy who bought my unit was there yesterday at 10am sharp to pick up his unit. I asked if she received my message from Val? She said by the time she got my message it was too late. I'm upset & feeling violated & betrayed because she has removed my units from the auction list many times before so I could pay. I'm very disappointed & hurt that she also in the past removed items from another one of my units without my knowledge or approval & told me that my things collapsed so she moved my items into a empty unit that I am not paying on or have a key to access my items. There are drug addict encampments circling the area. The fencing is low. There are also strange characters (unhoused, addicts, mentally ill) who store their belongings there. The camera was broken and the manager said it was vandalism. It had been over 1 month it had been broken over December 2025 and the camera still not fixed leaving the entire row of storage units vulnerable to theft. My unit was in that area. Previous to that my gate latch was pried open and the staff didn't check the gate, nor give me a form to fill out or recommend to file a claim with the police for an attempted break in, nor let me change storage units. I had to wait for the manager to return from vacation to change units a few units down. When I moved my belongings 6 months later, I found out about 6 boxes of kitchenware or $500 of belongings were stolen from my unit. It would have had to take at least 30 minutes for them to rummage through my things find the boxes (labeled kitchen) and put every thing back so I wouldn't notice them. Without security cameras or an on-staff night security guard, it would be incredibly easy to steal from all the units on the row. In addition strange characters who have units there lurk around the units. I spoke with one tenant who said it was getting really bad with the unhoused addicts living next door and storing their things there. DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS THERE.

We returned recently in late August and asked for the keys. The same attendant looked extremely flustered, as she was unable to locate the keys that were supposedly stored in an UNLOCKED filing cabinet with everyone else's leases, driver's license photos, insurance photos, and other private personal information. The employee apologized and called the owner who apologized and agreed to pay for a locksmith to come build new keys for the engine as well as the side compartment. Unfortunately the locksmith could only replace the engine key, but we were promised that we could send the receipt for the side door and be reimbursed. The side door keys and additional car key (they lost both) cost $675. The owner is now refusing to pay, claiming the attendant didn't lose the key. Why would you pay for the engine key if you're claiming the attendant didn't lose it? Either the attendant lost our keys before placing in the unsecured locker, someone else accidentally received our keys, our an employee stole the keys to use the RV.
