I don't leave reviews for anything, but I strongly recommend you look somewhere else for your storage needs. I stored a boat in one of their large units for a little bit more than a year. They raised my rent numerous times with the absolute minimum notice required, more than doubling what my original rent was. They send the rent increase notices within 7 days of the next months rent due date. This makes it really difficult to just cancel and move somewhere else because you'd be paying for two storage units at the same time. As if this wasn't enough. They randomly canceled my unit without notifying me just 5 days after I paid for the entire month. As I said earlier, I store a boat. I took the boat out of storage for a few days and when I went back I found out the my code for the security gate no longer works. I find out later that day that my unit was cancelled due to being empty. They know I store a boat and this cancellation was to maximize profit. They are refusing to refund my money. I want to the whole rental process online. While being driven over to the facility. In my 10 minute drive to Public Storage. I was able to create an account pay for my unit and get an access code. The units are clearly labeled, so is able to find it easily. Move when I needed right in and was done with the project within an hour. They streamed the process so you don't have to interact. I was waiting to post this review in the hope that I would give this facility a higher rating, unfortunately they deserve 0 stars. When signing up online, public storage.com states that you can provide your own lock or padlock. They do charge you $20 for one of theirs, but this can be refunded if you bring your own. THIS IS TRUE - YOU CAN BRING A PADLOCK IF IT FITS THE UNIT MECHANISM. Manager Tasha lied and told me padlocks were absolutely not allowed, and that they were going to soon be cut off of all units because only THEIR $20 cylinder locks are allowed. She even stated that the disc type locks SHOWN ON THE PUBLIC STORAGE SITE are not allowed. She rudely barked all this info to me as she was literally berating and yelling orders at the poor employee processing my lock refund which I had to argue and threaten to receive- I felt so bad for the guy having to put up with such abuse. (I worked in retail management & training for 20+ years & if I ever treated an employee like that I'm sure I would've been fired immediately). I asked for lock policy in writing which she couldn't provide so I contacted Mark who reasonably and logically explained why cylinder locks were STRONGLY SUGGESTED. I do understand why they are more secure but I don't appreciate being lied to and treated like garbage by the manager Tasha. So the bottom line is.... I will continue to rent a unit there and avoid dealing with Tasha at all costs- I suggest you do the same (sign up online, you don't have to deal with anyone face-to-face). I will also have video on my phone running any time I might have to interact with her in the future. UPDATE: THEY ARE NOW RAISING THE RENTAL BY 30% after four months! WARNING TO THOSE WHO NEED ACCESSIBILITY: THEY DO NOT CLEAR ICE OR SNOW FOR ACCESS FROM OUTSIDE PARKING. We have had nothing but a TERRIBLE experience with this storage place. Grounds look awful - grass is over a foot long with weeds. Then if you are ONE DAY late with payments they are calling you every hour and the late fee is like $50. The hidden fees are awful. Moved our stuff out of there and am saving HUNDREDS a month with a wonderful storage unit that is clean and no hidden charges. Not only that but we have a TON of damage to items that we in the back of the unit even though we kept it a good six inches from the 'ditch'. Mary was a great manager and now they have a new team that look and act very unprofessional and don't care. Will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. read more

Yard maintenance is extremely POOR! Ice buildup at the door to my storage unit caused both my brother-in-law and me to slip and fall yesterday. Both of us experienced significant pain although no injuries have appeared yet. They must do more than plow the snow. It is easy to predict where the ice will form and they need to salt those areas when they plow. read more
