I am appalled at the way Public Storage is ran. The location on Jefferson David Hwy will not answer the phones. I have called and asked for a manager several times. they take my name and number and I never hear back. This is absolutely insane. I bought a unit through auction (Which is also a SCAM). The auction was supposed to end at 2:30 pm. and it ended 3 hours later beca myself and someone else (Possibly someone that works for public storage) was going back and forth. I waited until the last second to bid on it to ensure I won the uni. but it adds 5 mins to allow someone else to bet my price. Which ran it up $130 more. When I needed a storage area at a short notice and close by, I chose Public Storage. Not only was the location convenient, but I felt it was safe; well lighted, keypad entry, and the office is manned with knowledgeable managers. The rate was more than fair and there were many options to chose from. This location is well managed and I was able to speak to the manager twice, once after 6pm. That's service. read more

I needed a place to store my camper trailer. I called and got a reservation and then went to the place. Jasmine (the property manager) was running the service desk. She was so nice and helpful. It was 96 degrees out and she walked all the way to the parking spot, let me take all the time I needed to get it backed in (4 times before I got it right!) and helped me line it up. When we got back to the office the paperwork process was detailed but real simple b/c it was all on the screen in front of me. I highly recommend these folks, especially Jasmine! read more

So I showed up there with a screen shot of my online reservation and the woman acted like she didn't want me to have the special price for reserving the unit online. She told me it was gonna be about $45 more than my reservation because she "couldn't find it in her computer." I began to feel like i was getting scammed. she showed me the unit and it was dark and the door didn't open all the way because of some suspiciously placed metal brackets on the doorway. I asked how was i suppose to get my larger things through the door and she said that's just the way they are. so that means I would have to by an over sized unit to fit my things in through the door.....sneaky sneaky... I would not suggest this location to anyone. Its funny because the location that's 2 miles north 4805 jefferson davis hwy has a very helpful and honest and polite woman working in there. read more

Marquita the young lady working the front has great customer service skills, she is very polite and caring. If you need help, she can and will assist you in getting the right-size storage unit at the right price. If you need storage this is the place to go.
