This particular storage unit is a bit off the beaten path, at least for me. However it is not far from Curry Ford Road and all in all, it is your typical storage unit. It performs the job that it is supposed to and there have been no issues whatsoever. read more

I hate writing this review because I had such a great experience at first. I signed up for a promotional rate of $67 per month. After 4 months of timely payments and barely utilizing my space, I got a notice saying my monthly rate was increasing almost $30 per month. To make matters worse, I was disputing the charge for November out of principle (given it is a clear bait and switch tactic), I got a notice that a $20 late fee was added to my account literally two days after both the federal and state government announced emergency declarations for Hurricane Milton. It seems very predatory to offer a discounted rate, then 4 months in switch it on people after they have their belongings moved in and then adding a late fee during a Category 5 hurricane when everyone is focused on life-saving preparation measures. Very upsetting behavior from Public Storage and will be taking my business elsewhere! read more

When I first rented there the cost of my unit was $200 per month. Two years later and multiple price increases they were about to go to $600 a month and I moved my stuff. Despite the fact that it was an air conditioned unit when I moved I found that bugs had gotten into the wool rugs that I had stored and destroyed them. Damage cost was probably $3500. Lastly, A couple of weeks after moving into the unit it appeared as someone had gone through my boxes. My recommendation is if you are looking to rent avoid this place and go to another one on Orange Avenue. read more

I found that the lock was difficult to do cause I have never seen a cylinder lock before. I tried pushing the button on the wall but it didn't work so I had to drive out than drive back around. The guy at the desk also didn't tell me that you had to push on the lock when finally get it in, he should've been able to come up and show me. I got a 10x15 air condition really clean nice tall ceilings to me it seems a little bigger I got everything in there and got room to move around and play I like it I'm happy with it it's clean it's easy and easy out it's convenient read more

The 10x10 storage units are really closer to 7.5x10. The staff was friendly and informative, but the outside, Non-climate Controlled units are not the size advertised. Look elsewhere. read more

I have to rave about Daniel at Public Storage on the Michigan Avenue and Bumby location. He is an exemplary employee and the manager of this particular location. He is always helpful, courteous, professional, friendly, and just genuinely a nice person. I have three spaces at this location for my business, and will will always be using this location of Public Storage for my storage needs as long as he is working there. He is absolutely a treasure to interact with and the corporate people at Public Storage should be grateful to have him representing their company. The location manager (Daniel) at 2525 E. Michigan St., Orlando, FL is excellent to work with. He is professional, courteous and personable. I waited for Pubic Storage for almost three years to transfer my mother's account into my name. She passed away at the end of 2018. I submitted the paperwork over two years ago and could not get the unit transferred. Daniel was able to assist me quickly. He was very kind to me and I noticed he was the same with a couple of other customers that were there that morning. I would recommend the location, at which my family has had a unit for 20 years. Well, we have accumulated too much stuff in life, and need to store some of it off premises. We called around and got some quotes, all the places seem to be priced about the same. So we chose this one for convenience. The folks in the office were very nice, and got us a unit that worked for us the very day we walked in the door. Everything went very smooth and we got our things loaded up in the climate controlled room. The only thing I am not happy about is I am paying money now to store things I don't use. read more
