Go here! I cannot express enough what an amazing storage unit place this has been. The customer…read moreservice here is top-notch. They are always knowledgeable and courteous. One time my lock rusted. They verified my identity before helping me replace the lock. The site is secure. Key code in and out. Cameras and fencing. Good commercial neighborhood, down the rode from the airport. We were customers for almost 5 years. The rates were reasonable (no crazy price increases- reasonable), and the unit was high quality (D6 below). In those 5 years, we never had an issue with rodents or critters (just some spider webs)! Seriously! We also had our camper here for a short time. They have expanded and have plenty of space. Look no further. High-quality and clean. Bathroom on site too. Do note that there is no trash on site (what you bring in, you bring out). Thank you, Florida Secure Storage! You honor your name.

Stored my belongings here for over 2.5 years and barely accessed the unit. When I moved out,…read moreseveral items had water and mold damage--even though others in the same unit were fine and the floor was completely dry. The facility had multiple hurricane closures during that time and also underwent property updates (including solar panels), so it's hard to ignore the possibility that something happened during storage. The most frustrating part: I filed a formal complaint with detailed documentation and never received a single response. If everything goes perfectly, you'll probably be fine. But if something goes wrong, don't expect any follow-up or accountability.

I spoke with customer service, and we discussed a refund. However, things took a positive turn when I received a call from Sally. After hearing about my situation, she offered to close her location to drive the hour to the facility I was at and get me signed in so that I wouldn't have to stress about finding a new storage facility at the last minute! I'm so glad I waited!! Sally went above and beyond. She took the time to not only get me set up quickly and efficiently but also brought us extra water bottles to make sure we stayed cool and hydrated in the midday Florida heat. Her willingness to go the extra mile truly saved the day and made a potentially difficult situation into a very positive one. I would recommend to other!

Went to pick up my boat on April 15th and it was gone! The managers/owner gave the thieves a 2 week lead time. Makes you wonder if this was an "inside job". The manager/owners were aware of the break-in because they have surveillance video of 2 men wearing masks and gloves entering the property and turning off the power! Common sense says they stole something! Asked manager for goodwill to partially cover part of the loss associated with insurance deductibles etc., no help. Bottom line, make sure you keep your property fully insured and check on it often, because this place will take no responsibility for their lack of common sense.
