This place doesn't even deserve one star! HORRIBLE PLACE ! Don't ever spend a penny on this place. This place is so quick to charge you for absolutely anything but it's gross! Not only not sanitary but no one takes care of this place . There so quick to charge you a late fee but can't even fix a simple light bulb .. it's been over a week, with over 5 complaints and "referals" but the light from my unit is still not fixed. Unfortunately rats got in my things.. had to throw away brand new clothes and a lot of other things... I highly recommend having the insurance. If you choose not to then I highly suggest you bait the storage unit properly. Or just spend the extra money to have it in a better climate read more

I rented a unit in this location, and it was the first time in my life that I had to rent a storage unit so I never imagine what was going to happen here. As I read in another review, there is an infestation of rats in this place, all of my stuff in covered by rat's feces and urine. My whole house is store there and I'm about to move to a new property and I don't have anything to bring with me. All of my baby stuff, everything is ruined. Rats even eaten all my musical equipment and open all my boxes. This is a disaster and the insurance company orange door does not take any responsibility in this matter. The people that work and live on property break in the units and steal peoples things not only were numerous units broken into but they couldn't even call me when all my stuff was taken because they're the ones doing it the lady running the place and her crackhead sons this place is poorly ran and they breaking the units right after you pay your bill so they get their money and other stuff had to move my stuff and shout out another $300 to go somewhere else at just after paying they did nothing to accommodate me this place is poorly ran and they will steal your things do not go here read more

The rental and check in process was really easy. Love that you can open the gate from the app. I wish the other tenants would not double park so others cannot get by. We had to back out almost the entire length of the drive so we could leave. A little consideration goes a long way. read more

I've never used storage before but didn't feel comfortable using any other storage facility except Public Storage due to its name and brand it seems to be the best in its Department. I had a very easy experience purchasing the unit online. As well as good easy experience accessing the location and my unit.. Just didn't realize that even though it's states climate controlled an interior unit is not the best option. For someone who's brand new to using storage an outside units are easier to access. Also didn't realize that I have to purchase insurance and the price I was quoted for the unit turns out to be an additional $40 more a month with whatever fees and insurance are tacked on. That is The only reason why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars read more

If I read this location had two bad review before, I will never come to this place. I rent this place from last year Oct, when I got this place I did not pay attention to the roof till this year rainy season. at May, I went to the space one day, I saw all my stuff wet and some leaves fallen from the big hole on the roof, then I aware, the hole be there for long time, just no rain I did not know , why Kelly (front desk, old lady) rent a place with hole to me ? then I remember when she ask me if I want to pay the insurance at front, my answer was No. this is why she gave me the one I will get damager definitely. before Juan 1, this is my due day for pay, I called Kelly, she told me she will report to manager. I trust her, I just paid the rent like before, nothing happen... July 1 another month passed, I went to the office, I showed the pictures and hole to her, she said same- she will report to manage...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! I can not keep pay the space with this bad condition, she talked if you don't like here you can go to another place, WHAT ???I can not believe my ear, if this is customer service, this is worst one I ever had, and she look like she own this location.... I've been renting storage with Public Storage for a decade. My experience at this storage unit has not started with good professional service. My husband went in person and filled out the paperwork, when he was asked if he wanted to enroll in autopay he was animate to say NO, but regardless this management or agent at this location enrolled us in autopay and the rent was deducted from our account without us authorizing it. Furthermore, my husband was not given a copy of the papers he signed he was given blank papers so we don't have a copy of our paperwork. This is unacceptable. If you need to rent in this facility. Check your account online right away for this and make sure to open the envelope they give you and check if you got a copy of your signed paperwork or just blanks. I'm contacting the district manager on this this is very wrong. read more

My account was over drawn due to an automatic payment that was forceably taken from my account without my knowledge. I moved out of my storage on 3/1/19 and my account was charged on 3/2/19 for a full month charge. I plan to dispute this charge with my bank and get to the bottom of this matter. They claimed that they called me and left me a message but if you check my phone records you could clearly see that they were lying. I never gave permission for Public Storage to withdraw any amount of money automaticlly or otherwise without my consent or knowledge from my account and as a result I recieved several over draft fees. Pulblic Storage located at 7550 Mcnab Rd in north lauderdale is a joke and a rip off. PLEASE I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING PUBLIC STORAGE IN THE NEAR FUTURE OR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! I have rented with Public for almost 4 years this was my second location on 7550 W Mcnab Rd, On my first year with my 10x20 unit, I found a dead rat one day inside my unit. I did not think much of it since it happened only once. Then I moved to a 10x15 unit, the ceiling has some damage, so I told the staff about it and she said that they are going to make a work order have it fixed. One year later nothing happened and I started noticing some traces of rat infestation so I again put it to their attention. They said that they have a new pest control company that will take care of it soon. Last year late October 2019 after several months of not going to my unit because I've been so busy with work, I went to my unit to get my luggage since I was going abroad. There were rat feces and urine all over my things and the floor and the rats have gnawed on my boxes and things. I had to wash and scrub my luggage to remove the dried rat poop on it. Most of my things now smell of rat poop. When I told them about it they just nonchalantly told me to contact the insurance company and said that it was the customers fault since some of us bring food to our unit. They also keep raising my rent every few months.This seems to be a common practice of all Public Storage to get back their loss from their $1 first month promo. So I moved out after I came back from abroad as soon as I had time from work. Now I'm with a different storage company, I hope I don't have to go through this experience and not move out soon, it's so exhausting. read more

This place is by far the worst... If I could leave negative stars. I would.The lady in the office, I wish I knew her name, altered my reservation. I made an online reservation a few days prior to moving in. I received a call to confirm my reservation, which I did. When I made it to this facility, she would not honor the $1 move in special. She said my reservation was for 50% off the first month . I pulled my email to show her my confirmation. But I saw here select 50% off first month under my reservation. (I have perfect vision) She couldn't change it back since she saved it. I called customer service from there. Customer service told me to ask her what did she do. I asked her. She stated this location was out of $1 special for 10x10 space. Maybe my reservation was the last one had she not altered it. I had to take my things 18 miles to a different facility. No one should have to go through this on moving day. I felt like this location is a complete SCAM. They get you here with your things, then change up the special on you. Knowing everyone's exhausted, no one want to go anywhere else. Thinking people would take whatever's offered on moving day to finish it. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I chose this location because it was conveniently located across the street from my guy friend. I have moved out of state. Now, if I need him to go by the storage for me, he has to drive 18 miles to reach it. IF YOUR RESERVATION IS ALTERED, DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY... TAKE IT ELSEWHERE. This place make PUBLIC STORAGE LOOK BAD. For someone that may be a first time renter from this company, this place here is definitely, without a doubt RUINING PUBLIC STORAGES REPUTATION. read more
