They are very dismissive, untrained, and tend to give you attitude whenever you need help. I've recently have dealt with an infestation of moths in the unit as well. Upon entry of the building there were a variety of dead bugs in the hallways around certain unit doors. Like I've said, the place has gone downhill at an alarming rate since Mike has left. Never have I had an issue with this location until now.

All access is electronically controlled by PIN pads located throughout the building and each locker has a keyed padlock on it. Depending on your locker size you might get an individually monitored unit alarm, ours had it, smaller lockers might not. The entire building has tons of CCTV cameras located throughout and looks very secure against would be burglars. Cleanliness: Even the bathrooms are secured by PIN pad, if that doesn't tell you the place is kept extremely clean then I don't know what will. Everything is immaculate inside the building with the exception of some scuffs and scratches here and there from people recklessly careening through the halls with loading dollys. Price: I hear it already, I can hear the voices of people saying "that place is expensive" SHUT UP! You get what you pay for. If you want top tier storage with high security and climate control to guarantee that your sensitive vinyl record collection and high end computers stay safe during your move you're going to need a company like Safeguard. Bottom line: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Don't skimp on protecting your stuff if you have high value items. If you're just storing a bunch of boxes of clothes and general housewares you probably don't need a fancy storage provider with climate controlled indoor storage and can go for an outdoor locker. All that said, for what we were storing, records and high value computing and storage arrays along with a plethora of other sensitive electronics it was well worth the extra money knowing our stuff was safely stored under climate controlled lock and key. Location: It's right off the highway which makes it easy to get to with a large truck and their loading dock can accommodate most any truck you can throw at it. Loading Dock: An enclosed loading dock is a nice plus especially when it's suddenly started raining and you want to unload your truck into storage. Unloading dollies are provided and all were in good working order when I was there. Bottom Line: If you are looking for top notch storage this is your place. If you are storing low value items that don't need climate control then you might be better served elsewhere.

They give you a low rate to get you in and then because they know moving your stuff is hard, they can force you to pay insane rates. In November of 2023 we were paying $141 per month and in June of 2025 it is up to $278. Doubling the cost in a year and a half is ridiculous. I do not recommend.

I did a lot of research to find the best value given the time and distance I needed the truck. When I called to clarify something, they were extremely friendly and helpful on the phone, and even offered a better price than listed on Penske's site. When I arrived to rent the truck, they were very welcoming and helpful, even allowing us to pick it up a couple hours early at no extra charge. No line, no waiting. The truck was clean and in good condition and they talked me through the various rental paperwork. I dropped off the truck in the evening and called a week later to stop by and pick up the final receipt. I assumed they'd be a little unhappy about having to dig out the receipt, but the guy on the phone seemed genuinely happy to help! When I picked up the final paperwork, the charges were clearly spelled out and there were no surprises. Moving yourself is a REALLY stressful process and these guys make the process hassle-free. I've used Uhaul numerous times before and regret it every time--long lines, small print with some hidden cost, and grouchy & overworked staff (and customers). Highly recommended.

I don't know how picky they are, but I'd just make sure that you have all the current scratches/dings marked on the check-out sheet. They were pretty good about it, but I always double check because I don't feel like paying for scratch I didn't make, at Noffs or anywhere else. :) *You have to return the truck on Full. They give it to you on Full, but only AT THE FULL LINE. If you just let the gas fill all the way up at the pump, you will be paying for like 3+ extra gallons because it will go BEYOND the Full line. Just a little fyi for those of you trying to move fast and cheap! :) Overall service was great, quick, and clean. I am actually going to use them again because I need to move some couches. Everything is clean and everyone is friendly! I recently needed to upgrade the size of my storage unit and their manager, Marty made it extremely easy and convenient. We worked out a deal that gave me the most time to make the transition and also meet at the most affordable for myself and my family. If you are looking to find a storage facility I would absolutely recommend this one and this location specifically. But overall as a company I've seen and heard and experienced nothing but the best from Extra Space! The facility is impeccably clean, convenient and the units themselves are spacious and they have something for everybody! Their hours of access are great and convenient as well. You get what you pay for!…read more Rates are very cheap to get you in the door, and then they increase randomly (and by quite a bit) a few times a year. So if you need to store some stuff for just a few months, it could be a great deal! I recently moved from a small second floor climate controlled unit to a slightly bigger one on the same floor. Found a few rat droppings in each unit. Again, it's not an expensive place! The customer service seems pretty standard for 2025/2026. Someone called to see how my move-in went and was able to immediately process a refund for a returned lock, which I appreciated. So, a good value at the intro price, and then that varies as they send out postcards for random increases.
