This place is a nightmare! Trying to check in here is absolute hell, and will leave you needing to take time off of work to get things done. My friends and I arrived with a Uhaul full of furniture and whatnot, ready to unload into my unit. We got there during "open" hours only to find that there was no one there. We knocked, we called, we texted, and got no one. We couldn't access the property to be able to get to my storage unit because every time we tried to type in the access code that was given, the callbox said to see a manager. No manager was on site! Finally, someone else came along and we followed them in. Only to then realize that there were more call boxes to access the inside of the facility. My access code still didn't work. We called the 1-800 number on the wall to see if we could get help but got absolutely nowhere. We decided to leave and try again the next day (I literally had to call out of work to do this). Upon exiting, we realized that you also need to enter the code. What a pain! We were now stuck on this property, which never should happen to anyone!! We had to call the 1-800 number once again and be put on hold for minutes before we were finally let out. While, in the meantime, several homeless people (who we assumed lived inside the storage units) were coming and going with no problem. Ridiculous! Fast forward to this morning, the next day. I keep calling and calling yet again to make sure that these people will actually show up and do their job today, and, again, no one is answering. I can't get through on the 1-800 number anymore as it just disconnects after I verify my information. So I'm out $160 something dollars, and also out a storage unit! To top it all off, I'm missing income at work. Avoid this place at all costs!! read more

Storage units in Vegas are a scam, especially Public Storage. I am paying $150 a month for a 5x5 (smallest) storage unit. It starts off as $50 a month, then slowly they increase the price $5 each month or $8-10. Over time they just keep increasing it making anyone who is out of town or temp out of town, totally at their mercy. Nowhere can you see their prices online. Avoid avoid avoid. read more

I moved out on a Monday following Easter with multiple calls and attempts to try to move out. I never moved in after given the free month, but still paying almost the full amount with charges.. because I put a lock on and couldn't talk to anybody Monday morning. I had to go in in person. I was told that I wasn't able to vacate on time and I would still be charged the full month. I came back the next day, to move some stuff in since they already charged me the full day, and was told that I was vacated already, but still charged, I said no if I'm gonna be charged, I might as well use it I'm not paying something for nothing then after looking at my bank statement, I was charged twice horrible service, and the staff needs to be retrained read more

No light in unit for the last 2 years from day one, in March I put in a request for a electrician to come out and the guy there said April 4, I came by on the 4th, and this time the lady said "nobody said anything to me about an electrician coming out today. I kept on asking and said they haven't heard back, than 3 weeks ago she said that they will be out either May 16,17 or 18, well, you guested it...the electrician never showed up. He was in town, but had to get back to California, so he won't be back in town now sometime in June. What a joke!!! Get an local electrician to come out and fix ALL the units that the lights don't work!!! Oh...plus the restroom is OUT OF ORDER for the last 3 weeks... read more

Never, ever, EVER bring your belongings here!! The elevator has been broken for over half a year, forcing the alarms to constantly sound because the doors on the 2nd an 3rd level need to be proped open. There is no temp control so its either freezing inside or hotter than outside. The staff puts HORRIBLE effort an is lazy, never there. They also price gouged me changing the late fee day purposely creating a late fee. I pay on the 7th but its due on the 1st. Never paid a late fee now its 22 if not paid on the 6th witch it was the 8th previously. Go to life storage!!!! read more

I haven't heard from the staff at all since being asked for a review! None of these people are professional. People I swear are living on the property. This place is over the place and disgusting. Climate control is the walls that TRY to keep the heat out. I agreed to a unit and after the Office got broken into twice they changed the hours of use which made it very difficult to get access. They tried to sell me a $20 lock and almost forced it on me but i said, "NO, I have my own" After trying to sell me a lock, I was forced to buy monthly insurance. What good is buying their lock of they cant keep people from breaking into the office and I am insured anyway. $1.00 or LOW PRICE is NOT always THAT! read more

If I could give this place a minus 1 million, I would. 1st- The gate is never open on time and is always broken 2nd- Climate control? Where?! Ha! Boiling hot and also broken 3rd- Bigger of the managers got angry because we threw things away in her trash. 4th- No where to park 5th- 1 cart for the WHOLE complex. One. O.N.E. 6th- Biggest manager stands outside and watches you remove your stuff like you're gonna damage the place. FYI- it's already a damaged mess so how could she tell? DID I MENTION THE GATE IS ALWAYS F UP'd and NEVER opened on time?! Can't have a 24 gate because the whole area is pretty sketch. Don't rent here. Awful, nasty CS. There are 2 bigger lady Managers- the BIGGEST one is SO RUDE AND NASTY. The smaller of the 2 is actually pretty nice. I'd give her the 1 star and fire the rest. Awful, nasty, rude, horrible attitude. Very possible that this is the worst run storage facility in Las Vegas. Young girls are managers and they open when it's convenient for them. It's dirty, garbage left inside, and garbage will sit for a week outside. If the gate isn't broken the elevator is and they take months to repair things like that. Going to try to make this review as entertaining as possible but what do you want it's a storage facility. It is what the name stands for ( public storage ) With AC I have stored my stuff here for 6 years and have had no problems. It's kept clean it don't smell bad. They even helped me out when I didn't need such a big unit anymore. NOT PHYSICALLY! I had to move my stuff to a smaller storage unit. I have insurance on my storage unit so that gives me peace of mind. So if someone wants to steal the treasures that I don't want in my house right now at least it's not a total loss. The people working in the office have always been really nice. Berry's a good manager very helpful. I think if he leaves I will too. I'm pretty happy with my stuff being stored in an air conditioned place because it gets way to HOT! In a storage unit. And I got my vinyl collection stored here. I called Public Storage and 90 minutes later I had a 30x10 on a monthly contract. Barry was very busy with multiple customers when I signed up, but he was courteous, efficient and multi-tasked to process us all as quickly as possible. A week after signing up I transferred my storage facility to another party and Barry helped process that at light speed even though it was more admin for him, without anymore business generated. If I could give this storage place 0 stars, I would. Everything that could go wrong with this place did. From day one when there was no light in my unit to the last day when they messed with my account and used another persons account to pay for my account. And all the stuff in between ... Mike the manager was never on property. Every time I went to talk to someone about my account, no one was there. I needed a dolly and no one was there. There was someone sleeping in there unit and I couldn't find anyone to tell. I called and went by the empty office. I tried to cancel my lease, due to sketchy things happening with my account, and I couldn't get a truck to clean out my storage space until the 5th of the month, and I still got charged for the whole last month. Funny how you can prorate my storage rental at the beginning of my contract but you can't at the end. I called Nick who is supposedly the regional manager, twice, and I never even got a call returned. What good is a regional manager who doesn't even return phone calls? Get rid of him. He's worthless if he doesn't care what's happening at his storage buildings? I will never use public storage again and I will tell everyone of my friends and family how sketchy and unprofessional this company is. read more

Close to airport. Good value for climate controlled storage. Barry is very helpful and friendly. The company's policy of having to leave an ID in office to use a cart is time consuming and ridiculous considering the amount of indoor upstairs units. I've never dealt with this with other storage places. Ask for Barry. He's a good guy. read more

Don't trust this place! After returning 3 months later to remove my items, my key wouldn't even go onto the lock. The attendant (who claimed he was a substitute), tried it too. He supposedly called his manager that was in a conference in Arizona and wouldn't be back until 2 days later. He suggested we call a locksmith to cut it with a bolt cutter. Also said unfortunately, we'd have to buy another lock after that. I reminded him that it's not our fault. When the locksmith arrived, he said a bolt cutter could not cut that metal. He drilled into the lock and charged us $150. Someone had gone through the unit and stole a refrigerator, tv, printer, handheld vac and a cart. That's all we noticed so far. They also opened up one of the bins but I guess because it looked like clothing, didn't look through the rest of the bins. This place is a scam! How could someone break into the unit, take whatever they wanted and put a different lock on it? Makes me wonder if they actually have spare keys to the locks that we have to buy from them. While I was there, a woman also went to the office because her lock was missing. How does that happen? They have the perfect crime ring going on here. How often do we go to our storage units. Also the insurance is a laugh. You need receipts for everything! The perfect CRIME RING! read more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced and unsafe location! There were 3 guys who looked like they lived there talking about a drug deal. No other units were available in the city except here. Now I see why there were vacancies. The people that run this place are horrid. I called and asked if the email could be changed so my daughter would get notices, not me, because I'd arranged the storage unit for her, and the woman said if a payment is missed we'll sell off your unit after 30 days. THAT WASN'T THE QUESTION I ASKED! Am going to get my daughter's stuff out of there ASAP after reading similar posts on Yelp. Public Storage is toxic! read more

I do have a problem with false statements being made that are not the full truth. The website advertises $1 move-in the first month. After I committed to renting a storage unit I was charged $36 for the 1st month plus a requirement to purchase one of their locks at $20. My total first month fee was not the $1 they advertised but a whopping $57.62. My monthly fee was stated to be $123 each month after the 1st month. That too was not accurate. My first months amount was $128.56 and my next months amount has been stated to be $133. I am hoping that I won't need to continue to use this storage unit much longer but at this point nothing I've been told about renting at this public storage location has been completely truthful. read more

Alexandria and Brooklyn were extremely rude!!! Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life!!! The sign posted on their gate says that they close at 6pm on the weekdays! We arrived at 5:30 pm and they told us they were not allowing cars on the property. They said that the gate was broken, and yet they allowed other vehicles inside earlier and we're continuing to open it to allow the vehicles to exit. There were other people there who were trying to go inside as well and they had been there since 5:10pm. These girls said that the gate has been broken and that they were stopping vehicles from entering recently and that's how it will continue to be until they fix it. We asked them how did they inform all of the people who rent a storage space and they said they hadn't. They were raising their voices, were extremely rude from the moment we walked up to them. Telling the other people that they had "exactly 3 minutes to WALK their stuff inside". The girl even said "I hate dealing with DUMB people". They were threatening us saying they were going to evict us and we can't come back on property and that they were going to call the cops. We got off the property before closing time, 6pm, and waited for the cops to arrive. Of course, there really isn't much that he could do for us, but the girls were telling lies about how we were all cussing at them they said we threatened to cut the locks!!! I recorded the entire incident so I can prove them wrong!! We will definitely be contacting the district manager in the morning and corporate and whoever else we can about the situation. Its one thing to have an issue like this and not be able to let people on the property, but don't be rude and treat the PAYING customers like dirt!!! I hope the manager acts accordingly and gets rid of these rude, ignorant people working here! Otherwise I will be spending my hard earned money at a facility where I am treated as a valued customer! So if you want to spend your hard earned money and have issues with being able to store and access your belongings, this is the location to go to!!! This place sucks so the $1 move in is actually like $60 once u add in all the fees and start ups. They have to "talk" to you about everything! You are supposed to be off the property by 9pm well im a woman moving alone and im not checking my phone every 2 seconds and accidentally didn't leave till 9:13pm and u would thing the world was going to end they are talking to me about being evicted when I just started renting the space the day before. Next they had to talk to me about a box that flew away while I was moving on a extra windy day like wth do U want me to do?! Saying they don't allow and garbage on the property. Now I'm trying to move out and nobody returns my phone calls so finally I get through to someone and they tell me I have to be out by 5pm which is stupid since im paying for the day I should be able to be out by 6pm but whatever I agree. I ask them what I can do with broken glass and a piece of furniture they tell me not there problem and figure it out!!! I tell him that it's just me alone and im trying to do the right thing but I can't drive with broken glass in my car! Or move the broken furniture and he tells me it's a storage unit I don't pay to have my trash removed! So if you want to be treated like crap welcome to public storage! read more

This is absolutely the worst place to ever do business with. I've had my belongings in storage units around the world the world even with Public Storage, but not this location. From the moment I walked in and every time after that that I walked into the office, it smelled so bad of weed. It was like somebody had just lit up a bong. I dealt with Britnee, and she could use a little bit more manners when it comes to customer service. My stuff was in the storage unit for one month and 6 days. Knowing that I was going to be vacating my unit on the 6th of August, I got a hold of this place and left six different messages asking them to call me to tell me what my prorated amount was. No one ever got back to me. When I was afraid that they would hold my stuff for non-payment, I went online and paid for the entire month. No sooner did I do that but an hour later Britnee called me back. She informed me that because I had paid the full month's rent, that I would be getting a check back in the mail for the difference. When I went and checked out of my storage unit with my movers, she walked me to my unit and even asked me to please stop by the office and update my new address so she would know where to mail the prorated check too. A month and a half went by and I never got a check. I sent an email to Public Storage headquarters to tell them my concerns. I also told him about my conversations with Brittnee. Their response, in an email, not a phone call was I was do no refund proration back. That is how this company operates. I was probably only Due about $75, but it's still the principal. They rented out my unit to someone else and got double payment for it. That's against the law. If I could give this place negative Stars I would all day long. By the way the other two or three times that I came back to the office to talk to Brittnee about other things, again big cloud of smoke smells like weed. As a matter of fact I think that business should open as a dispensary instead of a storage place. read more

We were customers of Public Storage at this location and others for years but quite frankly it has gone severely downhill. After storing our trade show materials for five years, we came back from out of town this year only to find most of it gone. Seeing that we needed it for an up and coming show, we naturally were stressed out. We talked to the office who had a substitute on this day. She called her regional manager. Although she talked to me, the regional manager Liza McDivitt was less than caring or concerned and just told me to call the police. I would have thought that the regional manager may have cared and visited to help investigate, but no. The substitute told me later that when she talked to the regional manager that they had a problem with break ins. If my unit was broken into, I would have liked to known earlier - I was paying a year of rent for storing pretty much nothing. This is a customer service problem in itself. There are security cameras everywhere and you need to see enter your codes in to get inside the outside gates and again to get up in the elevator. Whomever broke into it, had access or knew someone and would have gotten picked up on camera - or so I thought. They wouldn't look in to it. I tried calling Barry the manager the next day. Not only did he not care, he yelled at me for getting mad at his staff about my break in. I asked him if there were other break ins -he denied this. Then I asked if someone may have been stalking me. Then he "had to go" -- because he didn't want to answer. Upon looking at the locks and the upstairs units, there is evidence of many breakins and repairs. While I was cleaning out the rest of my unit I talked to another person who confirmed his unit was broken into. To make matters worse, the insurance that he purchased from Public Storage didn't cover his loss because of some lock technicality. I left the facility and was going to talk to Barry again to give him a chance to give a damn about me a customer or find out what he knew and when he knew it so I wouldn't have to write this. I didn't bother because he was very unfriendly and frankly I was scare of him. I believe they are running an inside job theft ring. I will stand by this until it is proven otherwise with video of who stole my stuff. or they were having a problem with multiple break ins and don't want to admit it. And that makes them just as guilty because they are selling a false sense of security. This incident was the final straw. In addition to the above, Public Storage tend to real you in with cheap rates but will constantly raise those rates every six months. They always offer new customers better rates online and if you want those rates, you have to go to another property or leave for a few weeks and come back. Something they hope you won't do. Calling customer service to try to give you comparable web rates to what new customers gets does nothing and is usually as uncaring as the managers. You store your things at a facility like this in hopes that it will be secure. You hope that the management will be friendly and know who belongs and who doesn't. You hope that they design their lockers with security in mind. If you hope any of these things look somewhere else. Public Storage should fire Barry and the regional manager and find a more customer friendly manager who cares. The customer experience with this company is miserable. If I ever need to store items again in Las Vegas, I will definitely go a different direction. You should too. read more

A storage place is a storage place , simple as that. But when you add someone like Barry into the mix , you get five star accommodations. Barry was informative , knowledgeable and his customer service skills are off the charts! Oh and the units are clean and kept up too. I was very satisfied with our experience. Worst customer service ever. Hours are minimal making it very inconvenient to move your things in and out. Got there 3 minutes after close after getting off a plane and going straight there and the girl was closing the gate. I asked her if I could grab one thing, and she told me no the gate was locked. I told her I just got off an airplane and had none of my shower necessities or clothes that I leave in this storage unit for when I'm in town for work. She refused to help me and I am now without anything I needed for my meeting early tomorrow. Unbelievable laziness, and I deal with something similar almost every time I come here. Oh and the trash dump is always overflowing and trash scattered everywhere. It's disgusting, feels unsafe, and the management is a joke.
