The next day the key to my lock (the one provided free upon purchase) broke and not only did they send someone immediately to help me I was given a whole new set of lock and keys no questions asked. The only reason I had to give 4 stars were for pricing. Now this business is worth the price it very organized, easy to navigate, great customer service, extremely clean and secure . I just didn't appreciate being told it was $110 a month for my unit until swiping my card and deep into signing I was told a extra $11will be added to the bill every month for insurance. Unless i get my own. $110 is a bit pricey so bumping it up to $121 it's not the best feeling. I also understand we need insurance but please be upfront before taking payment. This place is great otherwise even the salesperson that made the mistake.

After using this storage unit on two separate occasions over the last 3 years or so.. I've seen a…read moredrastic downward spiral in customer service and overall good business practices. On our first experience with renting a storage, we were met by the nicest older gentleman. He informed us of the policies and hours, which I must say are quite limited on the weekends.. but it was all about location/price. I think they close at 2pm on Sundays. At one point, our key broke off inside the lock and the same older gentlemen helped us remove the key and made sure we secured our storage with no additional charge. They also had another lady working, she was frequently riding on a golf cart.. Very nice too! She once let us come in with an entire truck full of stuff right at closing time with no hesitation. I wish I could say the same of the most recent experience there. At the end of 2014, we re-rented a storage and when arriving found a middle aged gentleman training with the older gentlemen. He informed us he wouldn't be working there anymore but this middle aged guy would be the new manager. Cool. About 2 months into our rental, I came to drop off some items. To my surprise.. I found the roof being updated. Also cool. But to my horror.. I found TONS of asphalt and wood pieces on my items inside the storage. Not to mention the nail puncture my tire suffered.. Not cool. I understand updates need to be made and I like the fact that my items would be stored securely from the elements. What I don't like is not being informed at all. A simple letter/postcard letting the tenants know of the work. THEN I could've moved/covered my items. The most recent issue being their attempt to rip the owner of the property off. I pay my bill every month by credit card (really debit with visa logo). I lost the key on my last trip to remove items from the unit and went to the office to find the wife of the middle aged gentleman. Explaining the situation, she offered to cut the lock for $25. I tried to reason with her to cut the lock for free.. no luck. She looked at her computer screen and says, "OK, that will be $25 CASH". (emphasizing the "cash") I told her I only had card and she said the system only accepted cash.. I inquire why I'm able to always pay my rent by card and then she started to backstep. She calls the middle age guy in and they "OOo and AHh" at the computer for about 30 seconds and finally "figure out" how to take the payment by card. Shady. I do not recommend this storage unit with the current management. The old peeps really cared about the place.. These people are just looking to make some extra bucks.

Joy gave me a tour, explained everything with important details and started the rental process. Her coworker completed it the next day as Joy was off and I purchased the rental insurance for $12.00 a month and I paid a prorated rent for the rest of April plus a onetime account set up fee of $29.00. The next day my family and I moved my belongings in. We reserved their truck from 9:00-12:00, but called to request an extension of two additional hours. Joy upon greeting me at the storage facility, told me we could have the truck until 4:00 or 5:00 pm as there wasn't anyone else requesting it. The facility is nice, new and clean. The units are indoors and heated or cooled depending on the season. I recommend Morningstar Storage. I am a satisfied customer!

I was looking everywhere in Las Vegas for an affordable storage and I couldn't find it in the center of the city, it takes my 10 minutes driving but I am very please with the price of my unit , with the friendly and warm people working there, with all the cameras around the property, with the insurance they provide, all areas inside are very clean, elevator works properly oh well, the elevators are slow but those are heavy lifting elevators that's the way those suppose to be. my access code works perfect since the first day I was there, yes, one access code per each storage unit, so they control who is entering to the property, security is primordial and they have it ! If you decide to go there remember to ask for the free Padlock. One thing they should improve but isn't enough to lose an star in my review: inside the storage building I prefer to have sensors for light activation and not to have to touch the light switch at the wall. I know what I want and I am not afraid to go for it .
