I also understand how much conscientious effort and consistent commitment to excellence in service it takes to EARN the unsolicited review. As such, I find myself quite surprised to be rating one of my storage providers as one of maybe 3 reviews ever in the last 10 years. I have been a client of this facility and others in this area off and on for over 25 years. This one has historically been ,(By Far) one of the more "Minimally," managed/maintained options of the many offerings throughout our area. But it's a SUPER CONVENIENT location for me as a local business owner & resident. Very recently, this property has been blessed with the inclusion of the first genuinely professional onsite management that I can ever remember at this property. I was rearranging my unit yesterday and the manager was doing a walk through and stopped and greeted my wife and I. during the conversation, she mentioned some improvements that were coming the property etc, and then asked about our experience. I happened to mention a slight "Challenge," that I had with a fairly minor administrative/policy adjustment with very minimal notice. No Biggie!!! It was to be expected, as we are starting to note some significant improvements to the property. But it impacted my business slightly due to short notice. ******( The 6th star is for the manager who took the "off hand," remark about a minor & temporary business challenge of a whining customer, and took the time to "Consider" and "Reach back," on a holiday weekend to let me know that she came up with a way to accommodate us while we quickly transition to the much welcomed adjustments and improvements.****** WOW.... read more

The lady in the office, Jan, was very polite and detailed. We are new to the area and she made me feel welcome. She also made me feel if I had any problems she would be very helpful. The price of the unit was very reasonable. You do have to have insurance on your stuff which I haven't experienced before. They do offer pretty cheap insurance ($8 month for $2000 coverage. We are keeping Christmas items and extra items that will not fit in our apartment so we got a 5x10. The hours you can access the units is very good being 6am to 9pm. daily. Constant price increases. Manager there seems really confused and goes out of her way to not be helpful. Steer very clear of this site. I know another renter that had all of his property stolen. They were not helpful and if you don't pay for their extra insurance it's almost impossible to work with them on a claim. just a bad deal all around. read more

Public Storage has been my best storage experience to date. Good prices, simple paperwork, clean room and good management. Laurie was very nice and professional, she clearly explained everything. I didn't leave a 5 star review for 2 reasons: 1. The storage rooms need individual lights or skylights minimally. Interior rooms are not very well lit from the hallway lighting. Even a single bulb in the middle would be better than trying to use the hallway lights. 2. In this day and age of people having alternative schedules I think being open 24 hours should be standard with this type of service. I'm not arguing for 24hr management, but 24hr access would be great. Will reccomend and likely use again. read more

I don't have an issue with the manager of the storage place. I have an issue with corporate policy month to month leasing and what that truly means. I'm vacating the unit on March 5, but need to pay a full months rent. This wasn't disclosed and its not mention in the contract. As the spokesperson said, "its our policy". Bad policy! Will never rent from here again. Was charged an extra months rent even though I had vacated the unit before the appointed time.

Public Storage unit was priced right when we used their online special. The problem was when we needed to change to a bigger unit and I went online to do book another online special for a bigger unit, that was when things got nasty. Jim called to confirm the unit and ask if I had any questions, I then explained that I have a unit with them and that I was needing another one. Things went downhill fast as he stated right away that they will not be able to give us the online deal at all. If we wanted to change to a bigger unit, we will need to pay full price. After that incident, we then had our current unit price increase by $45 for the next payment, our online special was supposed to get us the special price for 6 months, this was just two months after using the storage unit. Needless to say, we rented two other units from their competitors right next store and had better customer service, better units, and use of their supplies was provided for free. When we moved out early we even received money back for our early departure from our other two units. We moved out of Public Storage two weeks before the end of the month, and we asked about the refund for the unused days as the other storage unit gave us $150 back for the unused days, and we were told that they don't refund. This was also giving them over 30 days advance announcement of when we were going to move out. read more
