Terrible experience. Promised 6 month price guarantee but after 3 months they raised it and did so almost every month for a year until I finally had it and moved out. When I had a light that went out, Paul told me I had to wait until 15 or so other units had same problem because they needed a boom truck????? Then the other girl - maybe Teresa - told me I could change units. I had a 12ft x35ft unit stuffed and that was an option!!! Really!! We park our RV here, and it SUCKS! The spot is narrow; it has electronic boxes with handles that stick out in our space, which makes it challenging to get in and out. The app for the gate (both in and out) NEVER works. We ALWAYS have to get out and manually put in the code. We've addressed this issue with the attendant several times, but nothing has changed. This place was not built for RVs, but they'll surely take our money. You get what you pay for. Find another place to park your RV. read more

This location is convenient and offers a low entry price but renters should be aware of aggressive rate increases. I signed in January at $60/month and by June (just 5 months later) received a 40% increase. After calling multiple times, I managed to get a short-term adjustment, but by September the price was going up again. The staff told me these increases are automated and unavoidable. Most storage facilities wait at least 12 months before raising rent, but here the pattern seems to be every 3-6 months. This makes it risky if you plan to store items long-term. For example, my in-laws also rent here and now pay over $220/month for a similar unit. If you only need short-term storage, the initial price might be attractive. But if you're planning for longer use, be prepared for steep and frequent rent hikes that can double or triple your cost within a year. Also, even if you have an "indoor" unit it does not protect your items from being covered in dirt from frequent wind storms in the DFW area as there are gaps for some weather issues. I would definitely opt for a true climate controlled unit if you do decide to store here. read more

What a crap company!! They bought out the storage unit we had been in for 10 years. In 2 1/2 years the prices have almost doubled. From $280 a month to $550 a month. They sent us a notice that they were raising the prices again in July, 2024. When we called to complain that the prices had gone up 100% in 2 1/2 years, they said "Your prices are subject to increase every 6 months. If you don't like it, Go somewhere else then!" If you rent from them you're just asking to get screwed. Greed company!!! read more

This place practices the Existing Customer Rate Increase, or ECRI. Based on an algorithm the rates are raised in the customers least likely to leave. Our latest rate increase was 40% after only having the unit 5 months or so. All the storage places play this game to squeeze more money from the customers. We have no choice as all the storage places around us do the same thing. I've contacted 3 other storage places near us but none would answer my inquires. read more

Would give this location no stars if it were possible . Diana the manager is a liar. She goes against company policy and comes up wit stories to make you pay more . For Instance she lied and said it was company policy and I could only use public storage brand locks . After speaking with other locations and upper management of the corporation I found that to be a lie . So in turn she is lying to boost sales of her items in their store . She is extremely rude and has no customer service skills . It's odd because when she isn't there or out of town . The location seems to run smoothly and they will resolve issues quickly . I was frustrated by the level of service here and went somewhere else. The approach to staffing here is a real head scratcher. After making reservation online, I received a call saying to visit site in-person to finalize and that 2 folks should be there to help me out. When I arrived (8/5/24 @ approx 3:30 pm,) the office door was locked but there was a person sitting at desk ignoring my knocking. After 10 minutes, I never got in. When I tried to complete the process online from home 5 minutes later, the system said "Oh snap. The unit you reserved is no longer available." At this point I gave up and went somewhere else. read more

If you want your unit to be broken into, get a unit here. If you want the management to be unresponsive and not helpful what-so-ever, rent a unit from here. If you have a very strong suspicion that the management may be in on the break-ins or covering for those committing the crime, then rent from here. If you want management to try to gaslight you, then rent from here. Worst experience ever. Sad thing is, they had multiple break-ins in 1 day and a vehicle stolen off their property. They left a gate wide-open because it was broken for close to a month and made no attempt to warn those who rent from the facility. When our unit was broken into, they claimed to have called the wrong unit and didn't attempt to resolve the issue. Gross negligence and shoddy management! They're a decent storage, the lot is massive which makes availability pretty frequent. They have a non-customer friendly business model due to consistent rising rates every few months; a $100 unit will cost $500 a month after a year. Use what you need then get out or migrate to a different unit. It's silly. read more

Was paying $120 and now expected to pay $175 per month and if you check online, there is another unit, just like mine, climate controlled, 1st floor and 10x10 for just over $100. Stay away from this company. The issues are corporate in that it's all in the fine print of what you sign, all "500 pages" of the agreement. Not good. The employees are nice and trying to do their job the best they can but their hands are tied to the giant corporate "don't give a Sh*t about the customer" policies. Diana who I was told is one of the managers was extremely rude to me. I was walking to the bathroom (which was closed due to a meeting till 12.) as I was walking back Diana came up to me in her golf cart yelling and demanding what number unit I had. I accidentally said 322 instead of 3022 so she basically was accusing me of breaking into the establishment. My husband and I went after several cars before us went and we didn't put my code in. she didn't know that but asked and when I said I went after someone else she said that was a "No No" as if I was a child when the only person being disgusting and childish was her. she screamed at me and explained that she did it due to high volume of break ins which to me is concerning. makes me think that she doesn't really do her job correctly if there's that many break-ins. I basically told her she needed to apologize to how she was talking to me and treating me and she said she refused to apologize to me for my safety when she was extremely aggressive and disgustingly rude. Also, it's a concern of mine that I have items in a storage unit that seems to be broken in all the time her words not mine. The fact that I'm paying almost $200 for my items to be safely secured and have good customer service and neither one I'm getting. Amanda and Reggie were extremely kind and very welcoming to me. Her being a manager she is extremely rude and disrespectful and should not have the manager title and if she doesn't like her job, I suggest her to go find another one. Because as she was leaving the unit because she did follow me to the unit to make sure I did not break in and here's the sad part. I had just spoke to her Sunday face-to-face so she knew who I was. When I told her my name she knew who I was, but yet still was treating me like I was breaking into the joint. There's a reason why you guys don't have good reviews for this location and I can tell you the common denominator is Miss Diana, because the way she pulled up in the golf cart was very aggressive and she scared the shit out of me because I'm literally minding my own business. I just had to use the restroom and she made me feel so bad that I left without using the bathroom and I'm on foot so I had to walk 2 miles to a restroom because I could not use that bathroom after the way she treated me. If I acted like that at my job, I would not have one let along a manager title. When I came back, she did not apologize and she acted like I wasn't standing there so since she wants to keep being immature, I will be calling corporate and that's another thing. Y'all should have a corporate number for us to call not the property manager because now I'm being connected to her and she's the last person I wanna discuss my problems with. At this point, I'm looking into a new storage facility to store my items because a there clearly not safe at that facility since according to her it's broken into all the time and she's disgustingly rude to her fellow coworkers she yelled at Amanda after Amanda stuck up for me being the customer has anybody would have in this situation because of the way she was acting. The fact that you guys have a no smoking on the property side and she's chain-smoking every time I see her on the property is another thing you guys wanna lie your customers that pay for things to be held here but she can smoke. That makes sense lol. Shape up Public Storage get your shit together. This is beyond ridiculous and I have never been treated that horribly at any facility little long, a storage facility being a newcomer to the Texas area. She did not give me that southern hospitality that everybody looks for here, so I maybe she should go back to wherever she came from because clearly she's not from around these parts if she talks to people like that.
