Public Storage is the worst company, but I have no choice but to use them. I have had a unit for 12 years and am paying more than 3 times the sign on rate. My only option to reduce my cost is to move everything into a new unit. I have some physical problems and this is easier said than done. They raise your rate every year at the maximum level they are allowed to by law. Now they have implemented a new policy that if you are late and the out a lock on your unit, you need to pay a $50 deposit to get the combination to the lock. What combination lock cost $50? The local managers have no authority to do anything and are merely there to maintain the property. There is zero customer service. If I had another storage location that has the size space I need I would move out in a heartbeat. read more

Being an old (80) geizer, I tried to make my reservation on line but kept hitting a dead end. Finally called the 800 helpline and she was sooo helpful & stayed online until my storage unit & payment went through. I received the gate code & unit # and was moving my stuff in 10 minutes later. I have been at this location almost a year. The staff here is phenomenal. The manager name is Taylor she is the greatest. When she's not working the young lady that takes her place is Adriana. Payments are easy to make. That's the plus side. Don't park your trailers here. It's extremely tight. I'm a commercial driver and back a 40' and 53' trailer every day. The lines on the pavement need to be repainted and the light over my spot hasn't worked in over a year. The last straw was that another camper was moved in beside me and a trailer across from me. The trailer across from me was outside their spot and made it geometrically impossible to get my trailer dropped. I spent 3 hours on it while management stayed inside and watched without any offer to help or now show of concern. Ive had chains and other expensive things stolen. For what you get at this place, it's expensive and you don't get jack. read more

They claim to give you the first month for $1.00 and they do but then on the 3rd or 4th month they raise your rent about 10.00 a month. I am assuming this is to recoup the money they lost on your first months rent. Either way they recoup their money for the year. I will say they are very thorough on making sure all storage facilities are always locked and secure. I have been very happy with them but was quite ticked at their tactic of raising the rent after a couple of months to recoup the fee they lost on their promotion. read more

Any Security at this facility is NON EXISTENT!! I've had my R.V. vandalized several times with everything from stealing my wheel chocks to cutting off and removing my propane gas line and gauges. Since I had the spare tire and propane tanks wired to the R.V. frame with a case hardened cable they couldn't get those. The ONLY reason I rented a space here was it's proximity to my home in Euless. I'll be looking for another place locally to rent A.S,A,P. Hopefully the next place will at least have some semblance of SECURITY. If you rent a space here be aware that parking your vehicle on your neighborhood street (if allowed) may be a more viable option. read more

The storage option is very convenient for us, and the price is reasonable for the size unit you get. But in terms of customer service, they are lacking. We asked if the phone operator would honor the online price, she lied and said the price was no longer available, that I must have looked days before. When I told her I had been online only minutes before I called, she said the system must not have updated yet. We were also told by the phone customer service that we would need to pay a $24 fee, plus getting the first month for $1, so if we got there on day 1 with $25 dollars that's all we would need. We were also told we would be able to choose between providing our own lock or purchasing one for a good price once there. But she rings us up and our total came out to just under $50. When we asked why we were told that they recently upgraded to a "cylindrical lock system" and we were required to use it and pay for the lock, an additionally $20 fee. When we informed her we were told we could use our own lock and were not told about the fee for the lock in advance, she could've cared less. When we asked if there was a manager we could call, she said she would try to get in touch with him and let him know our concerns. We've now been told this twice and still seen nothing come of it. We also asked if they would inform their customer service of this "lock upgrade" that had apparently happened quite a while ago, she scoffed at the suggestion, and said "yah, I guess they should..." We will be out as soon as we can be! Right now, we are only staying for the convenience. read more

Long story short: We had a reservation for an RV space at a different Public Storage location but they rented it our 2 days before our reservation expired. After 30+ mins. of discussions & phone calls, the GM agreed to send us to another location for the same price as the original location. Although this alternate location is much further away, it seems to be a better run/kept property. Stacy was most gracious & was very understanding of our situation. She was thorough, helpful, friendly & professional. We would recommend this location! read more
