The issuing vendor botched many things - the equipment was missing a tire and they entered the wrong drop off location and lowered the mileage to 35. The SAFE MINI STORAGE location on Plummer Road in Huntsville consummated the errors and negative experience by not "receiving the rental truck". They made some calls but in the end threw up their hands and blamed "the system" and charged me more for a mileage overage. They admitted it was wrong. I pre-paid for 89 miles. The issuing vendor put in 35 miles. I was there for nearly an hour trying to get the truck rental "received" and resolve the erroneous mileage charge. In the end I left with a customer service number, more charges on my credit card, and a very negative opinion.

Our realtor recommended Guardian Storage but before booking a unit, I price checked it. (The website was fancy so I thought it would be too pricey.) The price was totally in line (even cheaper) than other outfits that I checked...(note, Guardian does not have outdoor units, which is not what we wanted - we had to store two fridges, washer, dryer, and we did not want them to get "funky" in a hot outdoor storage unit. Low and behold, they did not have any funk smell!) The facility is SUPER clean. The locks are these cool little gadgets...but you have to buy that separately. There was plenty of space for our large moving truck. The owner (who is super nice and helpful) keeps moving dollies, carts, and such on site - so that's helpful.
