Our realtor recommended Guardian Storage but before booking a unit, I price checked it. (The website was fancy so I thought it would be too pricey.) The price was totally in line (even cheaper) than other outfits that I checked...(note, Guardian does not have outdoor units, which is not what we wanted - we had to store two fridges, washer, dryer, and we did not want them to get "funky" in a hot outdoor storage unit. Low and behold, they did not have any funk smell!) The facility is SUPER clean. The locks are these cool little gadgets...but you have to buy that separately. There was plenty of space for our large moving truck. The owner (who is super nice and helpful) keeps moving dollies, carts, and such on site - so that's helpful. Drove by and looked at the place before the phone call... and then drove by again. Most of the sites aren't level at all as the property is on a pretty good hill... most sites appear to be too steep to get an RV level without blocked it up quite a bit... I think the spaces toward the back would be better but they were all full... and since they didn't want to give any information on the phone, I decided to pass on this place. The only thing I got out of them was that you had to go into the office to get to the washer and dryer.... just seems too weird to me.

I don't know what this place was like in the past, but I can tell you as of June 2026 it is a very…read morenice place. It is just a few minutes from Huntsville, but it feels much more remote with lots of hills, trees, and a nearby river. They just opened bathrooms and showers along with a laundry area. I like the koi pond and am enjoying the walking trails. The owner (Lee) was very patient and answered all of my questions, as my wife & I are fairly new to RV'ing. I see workers adding flowers and mulch, so I imagine this will be even better soon. And the price for a 30 day stay was surprisingly affordable, especially compared to some of the other places nearby.
