Getting the rental done online was easy and they called me several times to make sure everything was OK. The only thing i dont like is the lock they have you buy and its not a lock ill be using anywhere else when I'm done. I do like the fact that everything was clearly marked my unit was bigger than I had expected and everything was clean . read more

I had a small issue with my storage storage unit which was my own fault - nothing to do with the company. Jason went out of his way to help me solve it. His demeanor is super upbeat and it was a pleasure to do business with him. Very Responsive- Highly recommend! read more

You can get a storage unit anywhere in Huntsville. Its the people that make a difference for me. Melissa is the best. Makes me laugh and always has the answers. As long as she is there, so am I. read more

I have had a unit here for 6 years now it's clean and well taken care of. The people are friendly! Jason has been a help too us when the occasion has presented its self. The only problem I have is it seems to be getting higher and higher and if It goes up much more I'll have to leave! And I also agree that if I want insurance I should get it but it shouldn't be mandatory to have a locker. Some of us live on our disability!!!!! read more

History

Established in 1972.

The first Public Storage building opened in El Cajon California, but the new business was only supposed to be temporary. Two partners pioneered the concept as a way to use their real estate investment while they waited for the Southern California community to take off and value of their land to grow. They kept building, and people continued to fill their units. Eventually the pair realized that self-storage was here to stay, and they never looked back. Today, there are thousands of neighborhood Public Storage locations to choose from, many right around the corner from you.

Our realtor recommended Guardian Storage but before booking a unit, I price checked it. (The website was fancy so I thought it would be too pricey.) Low and behold, they did not have any funk smell!) The facility is SUPER clean. The locks are these cool little gadgets...but you have to buy that separately. There was plenty of space for our large moving truck. The owner (who is super nice and helpful) keeps moving dollies, carts, and such on site - so that's helpful. I needed a last minute storage unit. Very friendly customer service. Additionally the process to rent a storage unit was very easy. I believe Alison was the young lady that assisted me with the process. Also, the Customer Service Manager on site personally came to speak with me and my son about a phone call that was made the night before about opening the unit, which was extremely awesome. He was very courteous. I would hig recommend this particular location because of the customer service and the ease of the renting process. I also like the $1 first month( but there's a small fee in addition to rent space, but it's still a great value. The only thing I would change would be the hours, instead of opening at 930and closing at 9, maybe expanding to midnight, but I have no complaints whatsoever. read more

Renting from Public Storage was super easy! I reserved a storage unit online and even got a very very good deal. I was able to precheck in online to save time in the store. I received multiple calls from the store to confirm my reservation and check in once it got closer to the move in day. Tyler was absolutely great! He was friendly and helpful in explaining everything and even showing me the unit to help choose the best one. I'll definitely continue to use this store. read more

The management was extremely helpful in selecting the correct size for my needs. She walked me to several different locations on property until I got the right one.
