We face timed (I opted for that instead of a in-person meeting) so he could see all of my belongings. The price was fair and worth every penny! He accommodated me in every way. Then they gave me a quote. I scheduled a date and time for the move. The guys showed up with a big truck on the day of the move. They were friendly and assured me that the items will be loaded and moved safely. They handled the statues with care and carried them to the backyard and placed them where I wanted. The whole process was smooth and the movers were genuinely willing to help. Their moving costs were pretty reasonable. I am glad that I found reliable help with my moving needs. The prices for most of the movers that I contacted were pretty similar. What set Moving Hearts apart was that they are veteran owned. On moving day, one of the movers was on time, the other was quite a bit late, but true their word, they didn't charge until both were on the job. Some started charging the moment the truck left their facility. While we had already moved what we could fit into our van, for a two bedroom house, there was still quite a bit of stuff. The movers didn't anticipate the amount and they really should have sent a bigger truck. The move was local - 3.5 miles - one end of Old Monrovia Road to the other. It still took 2 1/2 hours, though some of the time was trying to fit everything into the too small truck. It was hot yet the movers didn't take a break - they worked their butts off. There was absolutely no damage on either end of the move - I've never experienced that, even with the most careful movers. They did a fantastic job. I would hire Moving Hearts again in a heartbeat.

Trust me, these reviews were right on - these guys were great. I called for a quote. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the girl I talked to but she was friendly and knowledgeable. She listened to my needs, asked a few questions and gave me an immediate quote. The quote was a little higher than I expected, but three days before I needed the help, I wasn't going to argue. The only complaint I do have with the quote was the $85 travel fee. It was under 5 miles. Right now Google maps has the travel time at 11 minutes. Even being generous and giving them 20 minutes each way, we're talking over $2 a minute. Of course they could be charging by mileage which makes the charge over $8 a mile. I should have offered to go pick the guys up - heck, we could even have stopped for breakfast and I'd be ahead $50. We had already unloaded all of the small and loose items so the truck was only about half full. Although there wasn't any furniture, there was a small safe and a number of very heavy crates still onboard. The two guys barely broke a sweat. They unloaded quickly and didn't make a mess. We had a significant amount of rain the previous day and water was starting to get tracked in the house. The guys actually stopped to cover the floor before they proceeded to unload. There is a two hour minimum and our guys were done in about an hour and 15 minutes. (It took us over three hours to load.) They asked several times if there was anything else they could do. (I thought of sending them grocery shopping but I knew my husband would have just rolled his eyes at me!). Hopefully we don't have to move anytime soon but if we do we will definitely use these motivated Motivated Movers again!

We hired 3 individuals and 1 of them had to leave after the first trip to the new house only after a few hours worked. Also, they rented a 26 foot U-Haul truck to move a 3200 sq ft. 4 bedroom home by which took 2 trips and wasn't able to move everything and I'm still moving. Most of the furniture I took apart, they didn't have time to put together because they had to leave after 8:30 pm. Alot of the furniture was damaged including scratches on floors and walls of both residences. The Movers were very polite though, so if you want people that are late to the job and don't care about your furniture, floors, walls or getting everything taken apart and put back together then go ahead and hire them. Otherwise look somewhere else. Also, they don't move TV's, pictures, plates, or glassware without you properly boxing and wrapping up. They are not responsible for damage....

They took no accountability for losing the pocket or astronomically overcharging me. I would NEVER use this company again nor would I recommend them to someone I like lol.
