The issuing vendor botched many things - the equipment was missing a tire and they entered the wrong drop off location and lowered the mileage to 35. The SAFE MINI STORAGE location on Plummer Road in Huntsville consummated the errors and negative experience by not "receiving the rental truck". They made some calls but in the end threw up their hands and blamed "the system" and charged me more for a mileage overage. They admitted it was wrong. I pre-paid for 89 miles. The issuing vendor put in 35 miles. I was there for nearly an hour trying to get the truck rental "received" and resolve the erroneous mileage charge. In the end I left with a customer service number, more charges on my credit card, and a very negative opinion.

From my perspective some of the rate increases doesn't make since (i.e. $5 to pay your bill via phone). There are some elderly people that may not have access to a computer or know how to work a computer, and paying by phone may be the only avenue for them to pay. Take a look at the late fees, that is totally ridiculous! Can you honestly say that your company has the customers best interest at heart or is it appropriate to say that it is all about how much money iStorage can squeeze out the customers (especially long term customers) and get away with it? Although you came in at 2012, it still doesn't erase the fact that your rates has sky rocket even within this year.

Please gather 'round and listen To a story most profound,…read moreOf the time my family moved again, This time - Alabama bound. I moved to Huntsville just last week, To escape the Midwest life. A home to live we went to seek, But all we found was strife. "What shall we do," My wife asked me, "With all our precious treasures?" "I do not know..." I said distressed. "But desperate times call for desperate measures." Our quest commenced with newfound fervor, To find our saving grace. A quick Google search in the Huntsville area, For a climate-controlled storage space. We looked and browsed and read reviews, Until it was quite clear. All the evidence plainly showed, Extra Space Storage is the best choice here. I quickly called to rent a space. They said "Of course! No problem!" "Just come on by, we'll get it done." I exclaimed "You guys are awesome!" I went right by to claim my spot, And immediately was greeted, By the quite polite Amanda Who inquired what I needed. "We have spaces large and small, With everything between." She said. "By Zeus, you have just saved my life! Without you I'd be dead!" I walked around and chose a unit That was perfect for my needs. "Will that be all?" Amanda asked. I mused, "This is a breeze." We walked up front to sign the lease And then she surprised me. Imagine my excitement when she said, "The first month's free." You will not find a storage place With better service or rates. The moral of this story is Not all heroes wear capes.
