I reached out via email because I am currently out of the country and inquired about this. There was no response. One December 1, 2002 I receive an email asking me to provide proof of rental insurance. The current policy did not expire until December 14, 2022. I responded that I have until then to provide proof of renewal which I did but despite that I was charged on January 1, 2023 $9+ for Midgard's insurance. I have reached out this company via email and phone calls for TWO months with no response. I have yet to receive a phone call after leaving countless messages...upward of 10 for this matter to be escalated by the call center. I was told that all messages are forwarded to the facility. That the calls are recordered. That an escalation could take 48 hours. But, it has been months and at least three escalations. This company holds my goods. I am out of the country since December and will be for the next year. I can not get the facility to show any kind of professionalism or respect by returning my phone calls and emails. I want a refund for December's rent. I want a refund for January's renter's insurance. I do not want to be charged insurance in the future. But, most of all I want an explanation as to WHY and HOW a company can ignore outreach from its customer who has tried numerous times to get in contact with someone. My rent started out at $145, then three months later $175, and now I'm going into my eighth month and yet another increase to $200. Find somewhere else to rent unless you're ok with price increases randomly. Audreanna in the front office was very helpful and professional.

I saw their team moving out of the storage facility which I plan to move my items in and watched their technique. Ironically, I just asked the lady at the storage representative if she knew movers she could suggest and she gave me their card a few weeks prior to this. What's the odds right?! I was sold when I saw their vehicle with the labeling. The quality of my experience is supreme and I truly mean that. It was important for me not just have anyone that has a uhaul and/ or random truck ( nothing against anyone with their hustle) but having someone that is professionally serviced with insurance and appropriate accommodations was key for me because it shows me the company takes pride in their brand. I wanted to ensure the items in their care was treated well because I spent a nice amount of funds on my items and wanted to keep my items secured from damage. I watched the way their team wrapped items and was quick in their delivery, response, and management of administrative items. I think a lot of times you see a professional group and assume they expensive but their were reasonable priced and showed QUALITY SERVICE!!! Larry has several years of experience which shows in his techniques. Listen, they were inexpensive and soooooo professional. You won't be disappointed and I'm not even hyping this up. From the initial walkthrough to start off and close out, everything was great. Also, special shout out to Sarai! She is the sweetest customer service representative and will make your process streamlined and seamless. I added on a few items in the end and it was just superior service. I'm definitely passing on the word because I have heard horrible experiences with movers. Honestly, when I was looking for movers I took a look at reviews for the surrounding area but couldn't find a group to really pull the trigger on based on the reviews. This group should be your top pick for your next move. I just connected my brother them and they are moving him into his new house soon as well in the next few days. Ask for Larry and Larry. Those are the team members I used and my brother is utilizing.

I END UP TO FIND RATS IN MY STUFF. And the insurance doesn't cover rodents !!! All my shoes , clothes , mattress RUINEDDD . Thousands of dollars to the trash.

The unit we rented had clear signs of rodent damage to the drywall, with holes large enough to…read moreallow passage of rodents. Due to a time crunch and it being the only available unit large enough for our items, I elected to patch those holes myself prior to placing our belongings in the unit. I also placed glue traps, bait units, and I spray rodent repellent. Those efforts have not been enough. The root problem is with the rollup doors. (My unit has two). The weatherstripping is old and deteriorated. They were also poorly installed, with very large gaps for them to get in. So I am left to checking our unit every few days, setting traps, refilling bait stations, etc. We do not store any food items to attract the rodents. It was supposed to be a temporary storage situation, so I thought I could deal with it. At the time of this writing, however, COVID-19 has extended the need to store our items for and unknown period. So doing my own pest control is going to quickly get old. For the last two years, we have rented another unit with another company. I was initially concerned about rodents when we rented it. I placed bait stations and glue traps there. I have never had a problem there. I believe the difference is that it is a newer, all-metal unit and the door is installed much tighter. So keep that in mind when shopping for a place to store your items. This company just changed hands from StoreSmart to CubeSmart. The autopay that I had set up with StoreSmart apparently didn't get transferred. A call to customer service with CubeSmart (which was pleasant) and an online update had this quickly resolved. On a positive note, Harriet has always been pleasant when I call or visit the office. My unit just needs maintenance and/or replacement of the doors. It remains TBD whether CubeSmart will address the obvious shortcomings of this location.
