I'm a loyal supporter to companies with excellent customer service. The relationship between vendor and customer is sadly no longer valued. It's about profitability and accessibility. With that being said, in a day and age where it's the fight for the bottom dollar, anyone can find a storage company to fit their financial needs. In our case, we are looking for a storage company that will put the clients needs, first. Anthony was a gentleman that truly looked out for our family. He was looking at all aspects of our needs like accessibility, safety, price, and reliability. He not only gave us the "tour" he connected with us on many levels. He made us feel like we were connecting with a childhood friend we lost contact with and now reunited at a storage facility, of all places. If you like feeling unappreciated while saving every dollar you can, don't ever come here. However if you want to feel welcomed and part of a community then come see Anthony. He will take care of you. This was much more than I expected and I want to personally thank Anthony for taking care of our family today. read more

if you would like to agree on a price and then after 3 months get a 45% rent increase then rent from these switch and bait specialists. NO 30 day notice as stipulated in the lease agreement, they just pull more out of your account... without warning. I am in the process of leaving these con artists and moving my property to a reputable storage unit. read more

Service was good. Unit was convenient for use and decent. The only issue I had with this company was the constant rate increases. $145 rate increase in a year is just ridiculous. Taking my business to a different storage facility. read more

Horrible. Rats in my storage unit. I pay $250 a month in rent which includes a fee of $15 for insurance. When I tried to make a claim they only offered me $250. I had boxes, clothes, mattresses chewed through. 1000's of dollars lost. Please go to a heated or inside facility. The rent is also cheaper elsewhere in Bremerton. Stay far away. read more

Lisa, the property manager, was an amazing help today. We had just got our unit and had a small issue with the unit door. Lisa came right down to the unit helped us solve our problem quickly and professionally. Awesome attitude and super helpful!. Thank you Lisa! read more

easy to start with e-rental online. Just want I needed.

RATS RATS RATS RATS!! DISGUSTING!! My moms things were here for less than a month and everything was covered in rat crap and pee!! They chewed through boxes and I even had the unfortunate experience of seeing a HUGE one crawl out of one of the boxes and back through the walls!! They will not reimburse you or try to help in any way! Go elsewhere! read more

Awful. Initial customer service was ok but probably just cuz they wanted us to rent. 2 days upon move in we have rodents!! And I mean lots of rodent! We paid for insurance but it only covered $100 of our property. We have over $5000 worth of property in that large unit. We were able to move some of our valuables but still lost thousands of dollars. Another unit was not offered unless we paid for another. All our stuff is ruined from drippings and urine. Do not recommend. Management was not helpful at all!!!! read more

When i first went with them for storage the people were so nice and accomandating however once when I had to go there to grab some stuff they had spray painted the units and it went under my door they had claimed they emailed but I never received it and now today I go there after being gone on deployment to find out they no longer have people in the office so any questions or help you may need relied on online and a phone call that didn't even go through the door to my unit is broken the code system doesn't work so I couldn't even get in to empty my unit like I wanted to read more

People are nice but the office doesn't open until after 11 if at all. So people who do storage auctions can't get in to empty their units. So if you get one here keep in mind you only get 6 hours a day to empty your unit. read more

I'm writing this review based off of the awesome customer service my boyfriend received from the guy Anthony that's works here. He was extremely helpful and made his experience there super smooth. Last minute unit reservations can be tough but Anthony went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of. Good customer service is hard to come by these days especially in this business so this was a breathe of fresh air. Thank you Anthony!! read more

So moving in you will have a great experience. Then after 3 months they will raise your rent and keep doing that every three months until you find a new place to store. So that is what we are doing, moving our storage. We have been there a year and now pay $100 more than when we originally paid moving in. What a crock! Of course you can't fight it because they are month to month now. Your better option is to find a place that does a lease and lock in the price. There is no validating the rise in cost. The unit did not improve, the roads in the complex are treacherous, that didn't improve, so why the raise in price? Because they can. So they are gonna price themselves into bankruptcy because all the other places have locked in pricing read more

Rodents rodents rodents. Upon complaining to the management regarding damage to our things nothing was done and we were told to check our own insurance. We did and our policy didn't include damage by animals. In fact no policy will ever coverage damage by animals. Regardless, if you want your stuff to be pissed and shit on by rats then store your stuff here, if not then i strongly recommend that you store your stuff and a more professional and clean location. read more

Great folks, good communication and easy setup. I needed to store my car and they were very helpful and accommodating. The place is very clean and secure and I feel confident that my property is safe and secure. read more

Initially I gave this place a great review Kyla was great and helpful, now a month later I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. When we initially rented our unit through public storage customer service we were told it was a climate controlled storage facility it even says it on the Public Storage website. Yesterday I go to storage (I go there almost daily because our business inventory is stored there) and almost all of our inventory and personal items are ruined. Pictures, Christmas decorations, movies, collectibles and inventory. There was so much moisture in our unit you could see the condensation running down the bottles of syrup we store there for our business. Labels peeling off the bottles because of the moisture and boxes not even stored on the floor wet. The concrete is wet and shows visible signs of dampness. I had just been to storage 48 hours earlier and it wasn't like that. I called the Riddell storage office and got no answer so I left a message went home and called the customer service number. I gave them my information and they looked up my account once again confirming the unit was climate controlled and explaining to me as if I was 5 what climate controlled meant, in their words exactly, "cool In the summer warm in the winter" followed with an exaggerated sigh. So I clarified with her that since that is the case then I shouldn't have any moisture in my unit and she said " that is correct". So I let her know we have a big problem then. She put me on a very long hold finally came back on and gave me the insurance claims number. Myself and a friend went back up to storage to take pictures and speak with the person on duty who happened to be Kyla. I explained to Kyla what was going on and have her look at the unit. She informed me she had gotten a notification from the service center about it and said "they need to stop telling people this is a climate controlled storage facility". So obviously this is not a new problem. She acknowledged the issue even took pictures and mentioned you could see the moisture on the concrete but she didn't think the insurance would cover it cause it's food and would attract rats. Now unless I'm wrong I'm pretty sure rats don't chew thru glass bottles. And their website advertises them as a great place to store wine for your business. Asked me if I wanted to switch units. Not too sure what that is going to accomplish since my stuff is already ruined and none of the units are climate controlled. I told her the $300 a month I pay there should be refunded since I shouldn't be paying to have my stuff ruined. Once again I was referred to customer service that informed me "they never refund money" so they bounced me back to the storage facility who told me they would talk to their boss and call me by mid morning. That never happened. The blame game for destroying personal belongings and products that support your livelihood seems to be their way of doing business. Faulty business practices and no attempt to make it right. Still haven't heard from a claims agent and the property manager hasn't reached out either. Stay far away from there if you want to store your belongings where they are safe and support a company that cares about their customers and their customers belongings Next step the Washington State Insurance Commission and the Attorney General. read more

We had an overall positive experience during our few months of storage here until the very end. We are a military family that was PCSing and needed a place to store our stuff till the movers came. The only problem was with ants that were there when we moved in. But we sprayed and didn't have a problem after that. The problem occurred during move out. During move in and on occasion while paying my bill Anthony(who was very nice and remembered my name and that we were moving) would tell me "as long as you're out by the 5th you don't have to pay for the month!" Fast forward, our movers came Sept 30th. We didn't have a chance to make it in that same day and my car shipped the following day so we were very busy and distracted. We ended up making it in on the 4th which we thought was no big deal because of what we had been told NUMEROUS times. My husband went in to cancel and the lady said oh sorry we just got an email at the end of the month changing that and that because we were month to month there was nothing we could do about and we owed for the month of October now. Don't you think if someone told us that instead of telling us we had till the 5th to move out we would've made sure to get there when the movers left on the 30th. I paid the $138 but it's just frustrating and ended up feeling robbed by the place. read more

The customer service is sloppy if you have any issues beyond opening an account and paying your bill. They don't take ownership of errors and act like everything is the customer's fault. Public Storage created an online access username that I was not able to use because they graciously misspelled my last name, preventing me form paying the bill online. They messed up my email address so I couldn't access my username or password. This led to problems with making my payments due to the fact that I couldn't pay online. I worked internet retail at the time and couldn't call customer service because I spent my breaks trying to access the account online (if I even took breaks). So when I went to move out of my storage, I was conveniently locked out of the gate, even though the automated message gave me the correct code. When I was done and ready to close the account, I was treated very rudely, as if I was stupid for not knowing any better. This is not how anyone should be treated. I work in customer service, and this treatment is not acceptable for any customer service representative to give to another customer. read more

Actually it should be minus stars. I'm so angry with this place. First, my things are covered in mold. I've had non heated storage before, and NEVER have I had mold on my things. Next, when I brought up that I had mold she said it's normal and to call insurance. Then, a month later they raised my rental price $30.00. I don't suggest this place to anyone. They're awful. Total rip off. read more

After a few days of conflicting schedules with their BE RIGHT BACK clock on the door to get a lock I finally decide to wait the 10 minutes for their return. Here he comes with a someone behind him and us trailing behind. After some time passing he then acknowledged us waiting, later asking what we're here for to then be told they're full. There needs to be a no vacancy because it was such a hassle and waste of time for nothing. read more

I would add another star if I could. I must say out of the whole process of moving and uhauls and all that ridiculousness, the experience I had at this location restored my faith in humanity. Impeccable service, and he got me a discounted rate better than my original discounted rate. Ray was awesome, and they offer autopay. He also suggested I buy a moisture absorber (cheaper there than at Lowes) to keep my stuff from mold and mildew damage. I'd imagine the other people complaining of mold on here probably didn't buy one when offered and in this climate where it RAINS 9 months out of the year... non heated storage will collect moisture it's unavoidable. Super happy with this place and my experience. read more

So far, so great! Ray was a more than excellent help in helping my parents find the best storage space and working with us to get everything ready! Could not thank you enough! 10/10! read more

They are always nice and the service great. Depending on what size storage you decide to rent, there is most generally always more than enough room in the unit. The property is well kept. I would recommend this public storage above all in kitsap county. Thank you Brenda and Joanna!!! read more

Anthony & Savannah were very professional and helpful. Anthony helped me on the phone before I secured my unit and gave me all the information I needed to decide to look at the unit. When I arrived at the office Savannah was very friendly and very knowledgeable also. She took us to see the unit and assured me that the unit would be swept and clean before putting our furniture & other items in the unit. Processing time was quick upon check out. Savannah knee the computer process very well. No glitches at all. I would recommend this Public Storage In Bremerton on Riddell to anyone looking for storage. The units are clean, well lit, secure, and there is a property manager on-site. All those are very important to me! No signs of rodents whatsoever (which is extremely important to me)! read more

The customer service representative "Savannah" was so accommodating and helping. We needed to off load 2 large U-Haul trucks and she assisted with all of our needs. I hope she makes corporate management soon, the company would do well keeping personnel like her around!! Thank you again Savannah!! read more

Brenda was easy to work with. Did all the paperwork and checked me in no problem. Hopefully our stuff stays clean and dry. Finding a storage unit in kitsap is a fairly difficult chore. I did not realize there was a storage shortage in kitsap. Unit seems clean and dry and has a nice cedar wood smell. I was told to make sure you wrap your mattresses and furniture in protective plastic and purchased moisture absorbers, to prevent mold, for the unit since it is not heated. The price is good. My one concern is the paved area is not flat, very hilly, wave like when driving through the property, we will see how a uhaul truck handles this in the next month. I recommend not taking any lowered vehicles here, as my minivan scraped the front bumper leaving the driveway of the property. Trucks or higher clearance cars only. We will only need our unit from June to October, hopefully our stuff stays clean and dry. It is for the most part the "dry season" during this time. I will update for sure at our move out. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. If your looking for a safe dry place to store your belongings THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. A whole section of my storage had mold covering it. This is after 4 months of storage. My sofas, photo albums, linens, shoes were all moldy. I looked into what their " Washington state required insurance" would be and listed at only covering $250 of total damages due to mold. There employee on duty who I talked to gave me no reassurance whatsoever, saying "that's no good". I was wanting to remove all my belongings right away to avoid further damage and not be held liable for rent of this moldy storage unit for the remaining portion that I would no longer be occupying the unit. There District Manager made the experience worse by quoting Public Storages policy on " prorating" and completely disregarded the mold issue all together. End result I paid for the entire months rent for an empty unit and took my NOW BIOHAZARD FURNITURE AND CLOTHING to my brand new home. Mold will be a common issue since this is not a "dry" storage. I feel robbed. read more

I came to just view a storage unit and the lady at the front desk was helpful at first, but then shuffled and pressured me into buying a unit that I didn't want. She then spent 30 minutes asking me to fill out a YELP review, actually taking my phone from me and trying to pull up the site on my phone. Turns out, I didn't need the storage unit and called to cancel. Public Storage offers NO refunds for the first month. That is their policy. I called to complain and they sent me to a line to leave a message and still haven't heard back from them. DO NOT USE THIS PUBLIC STORAGE, they are INCOMPETENT and PUSHY. read more

Brenda & Joanna Work there and I have never had a bad experience with either one of them. They are very pleasant, and professional in every way. They are extremely helpful.
