This is a short-term rental; however, the company has been very polite as I'd expect from doing business with a professional company, Thanks to the staff, we're not worried about having to keep our belongings in there for an additional month past what we planned. Thouroughly disgusted and upset. One word. RATS !!! Let me say it again. Rats, rats, and more rats. You will find in the photos evidence of what the rats left behind ( I spared you having to see the dead ones I found ) . They brought in items from other units (feathers, rope, etc.) . They tore up my boxes. My shoes. My clothes. They ruined photographs that cannot be replaced. They chewed up valuable paperwork. They urinated and defecated on EVERYTHING in my unit. Zero response to multiple complaints. And.. Guess what ? ALL of those things are specifically EXCLUDED in the insurance, so forget about that. Not to mention, in one year there were two rate hikes that nearly doubled my original monthly with absolutely NO explanation or justification. I've had several storage units in my lifetime. I have NEVER experienced this in any other town in any other state. This place is horrible, and I am currently seriously contemplating a lawsuit. read more

After my belongings were ravished by rats while on military orders, I saved up and paid movers to go and pick up any salvageable items in my 10x25 climate control unit but when they got there there was a lock on the unit costing me my $750 deposit with the movers. I called the number on the lock and asked them to explain why I had a lock on my unit, even though my bill is paid monthly she indicated there is no information on my account. I tell her I want answers as I'm already paying for a storage unit full of rat-infested items and she says she will have a supervisor call with clarification. That was a few weeks ago and I still have not received a call from anyone. I want to know why I'm paying for a rat-infested unit I can't access? Please do not store your stuff in any Public Storage...my life possessions are gone. read more

The most poorly managed storage place I've ever seen. I was NEVER able to actually speak with the property manager at all. I called on multiple occasions and left messages each time and was never contacted back by anyone. There was NEVER anyone in the office and the office was always locked. I will never rent from Public Storage ever again. The price for my storage unit was the highest I've ever seen. Definitely over priced for what I received. read more

My experience was good until I decided the space wasn't needed. The same day that I was reserved for was the day I attempted to cancel and ask for a REFUND. Customer service property manager was rude and refused to refund back to my card ..without coming into the office. My appearance wasn't necessary to take the money so why do I need to come in ? Docu sign everything the same way you made the transaction work for you. I've never even been to the unit ..but spoke to Patrick which was quite difficult, when unnecessary. They can keep and are welcome to the $1.00 first mth but the administration and lock charges are questionable at this point..He says I'll pay you for the lock...come in and sign ...I explained I'm in bed under the weather and he says you have 30 days to come in ..I'm doing neither . I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, just in case change of plans happen..which this is LIFE n things happen...They are trying to rip people off by not REFUNDING from something you never even ASSESSED ... This storage facility made some upgrades and passed the cost onto the tenants. I planned to move out before the cost increase and the nasty woman "Melinda" had the nerve to smirk when she told me I would have to pay for the entire month anyway because I came on the first to move out. Over a 9 month period, I've had a few issues, the first one starting in the day I moved in, I'd called the office (even after hours which is contact # listed, and the 800 customer service #, and the regional manager, left voicemail with that person, and never heard back), I got stuck inside the property when the access gate broke with no one to contact, except to leave a message on the office voicemail, the app would not work to let me out, I eventually got lucky with a passerby who was nice enough to help me get out, I was never contacted back to make sure I was ok, nor was I asked how I got off the property, nada, ziltch, so fast forward a couple months.. I dropped off some things in my unit and left the property after 9 pm, I got a text the next day asking me to be more COURTEOUS and leave the property before 9 pm. WOW!!! I have then spoken to the property manager and he says it's just an automated message that gets sent out... Now mind you I've left the property after 9 pm multiple times and NEVER gotten a courtesy text from them! Wanna talk about courtesy, why not trying calling a client back when there is an actual issue to be resolved. read more
