I couldn't have asked for a better locksmith! I suddenly found myself locked out of my apartment and quickly did a Yelp search for locksmiths in the South Beach area. After calling 2 businesses, I was frustrated with the poor customer service, amount of money they were charging, and the hidden and added fees. I finally saw Public Locksmith and called, and thank god I did! Einan answered and was so very nice and had a FLAT rate with NO hidden fees. Better yet, he came within 5-10 minutes! Even better than this, he went above and beyond. We have a complex locking system and we expressed that we did not want to have to replace anything. He worked tirelessly at our front door, but it was too complicated to open without damage. Instead of giving up or damaging the door, he offered to try our back door and spent a lot of time and effort to open the back door without damage. He spent much time and effort to not damage any locks and got us in.... and still charged us the flat rate quoted (which, by the way, was MUCH lower than the other locksmith's I called!). They have found a loyal customer in me thanks to their excellent work, customer service, and price. read more

I've used Einan once before, basically I'm that person who loses mail box keys often. He gave me an honest price then and now. But honestly the best part is how fast and professional he is. I wish I could screen shot our text messages so you could see how quickly he got here. The convo basically went. Me: hi I need mail box opened. Him. Please send me address Me: address. Him: I'll be there in 5. And can you believe that in this town someone would ACTUALLY show up on time?!?!?! Got it fixed in 10 mins flat. I may or may not have been timing him. But honestly as a single girl living on the beach I'm always worried that I'm going to get scammed or jipped, but not with Einan! It was just a straight forward no fuzz transaction. read more

I was very pleased with their service. It was after hours and I had lost all of my keys. I called a few other locksmiths that either had me on hold for an extended time or had a voice mail for me to leave a message. When I contacted Public Locksmith, they immediately answered my call and arrived at my home in less than thirty minutes. The gentleman who changed my locks, Einan Shabat, the locksmith, was very kind and professional and he completed the job in a timely manner. I had to have several different locks changed and they were done very well, including an additional 2 deadbolts. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is in need of a good locksmith, reliable and good pricing. read more

Best locksmith in Miami! I was locked out of my house after a night out on the beach. I called another locksmith & was told I would have to wait hours due to the time of morning. I called Public Locksmith & experienced extremely friendly staff who informed me a locksmith would be at my house in 20 mins. When he arrived he was super professional & nice. He advised me on better security measures for the my property & upgraded me to a high security lock. The price was extremely reasonable especially for the speed of service. Public Locksmith is the one to contact for all of your lockouts. Absolutely no complaints, couldn't have asked for faster or better service! read more

Locked myself out of my apartment when I lost my keys last night. What a nightmare! Gave Einan a call and he was there in under 10 minutes just like he said he would be. Unfortunately, it turned out I had a high security lock so it turned out he had to drill through to get the lock open. Luckily, he came prepared and had a replacement lock that he was able to install. Whole process was done in 10 min tops and I was back in my apt within 20 min of getting locked out. Pricing was also extremely reasonable. Thank you Einan! read more

I contacted the company after reading the great reviews. We booked a day/time for Einan to re-key the lock to our new apartment. When he realized he would be a couple of minutes late, he called to let me know. When he did this, I knew he was a professional. A few minutes later he was there and got to work quickly. And surprisingly, when it came time to pay, he gave me a better price than his estimate. Without hesitation I would recommend this company. I wish all trades in Miami were as efficient, professional and kind. read more

Let me start off by saying, it's the fastest and easiest service I've ever experienced. At my job, we had a door that was accidentally locked - we had no key. Being at Fisher Island, I googled and came across Public Locksmith. Submitted an online request and quickly received a response from Einan. He sent the tech over in 20 mins - got the job done in less than 15 mins (Had to drill, change locks, etc). Super fast and friendly. Pricing was also affordable. Will definitely use again for future lock issues. Thank you! read more

Einan's service is probably the best locksmith experience I've ever had. Yesterday afternoon we had a very emergency case: my friend had a flight to catch and we lock ourselves out. We were totally panic. The front door recommended Einan and he arrived in 15min and solved the problem. The price is fair and he is very nice and experienced. My friend made the flight with some spare time. Later the same night he came back to my place solved my key problem for me. Big big help. I definitely recommend this business. read more

I will echo the other reviews. Within minutes of posting the request on Yelp, I received a response. After explaining the need to have my mailbox box lock replaced, Mike gave me an estimate and said he could come out shortly. His estimate was lower than others and we decided to go with him. He arrived 20 minutes after I texted him and had the lock replaced in minutes. 5 stars for the price, service, speed, and experience. read more

This locksmith was amazing. We just recently moved into a condo and was having a problem with the key from the previous owner. We called Einan and he was over in 20 minutes flat. He was professional, reasonable, and didn't take advantage of the situation like other locksmiths we have used in the past. We highly recommend Publix Locksmith if you need a locksmith in the Miami Beach area. You won't be disappointed. read more

EXTREMELY fast and courteous service. The lock on my front door broke, and a friend recommended him to me. After I called him, he was at my place within 20 minutes and finished the job really fast. What was most impressive is that I told him that my mother was sleeping in the next room, and he did the job so quietly that she didn't even know he had been there! I'd recommend this company to ANYONE. Very satisfied! read more
