They were all so personable, smiling, engaging, checked on me constantly and working their tails off despite being open during the storm. We got the arancini and cheesy garlic bread with some cocktails. That garlic bread was so insanely delicious. Everything was but it stood out. The quality of service, food, drinks, atmosphere were all very good. Turnover here is also very good, as there was no wait for an almost-full restaurant at 7pm on a Friday evening. Drinks were flavorful, but strength seemed a bit inconsistent. My Patriot's Pour, a bourbon drink, seemed a wee bit stronger both in flavor and perceived alcohol than the martinis we were served. The ice cube with the restaurant's name in it was a nice touch. Our dinners all came out at the same time and were, as mentioned, enjoyable. I did notice that the counter in front of the kitchen, where dishes are placed waiting for pickup, seemed to have more plates on it than the could be under the heat lamps. Hopefully folks' dinners weren't inconsistent in temperature. My Thai salmon was done the way I like it, firm and crispy. The meal itself was great. The facility itself could use some attention. The bathrooms were a bit dingy and the stall doors had holes in them - covered by cardboard for privacy but replacing or fixing the door would be the better option.

The staff are usually nice though sometimes we get a few screwballs. Typically there's regulars we get at the bar and they are good people- particularly Joey. They should give that guy a raise I'm pretty sure he is a manager. The food- which has mainly been the pizza we have had, is amazing. It's fresh and oven fired in house and the taste reflects that. You can customize your pizza as much as you like and staff are happy to oblige. We usually do a custom garlic, chicken and white pizza- which I highly recommend. Ambiance was dark and moody, a very cute spot. We learned from the bartender that they only have a cordial license, but they sure make the most of what they are able to serve. The host and bartender were both very welcoming and friendly, we felt very well taken care of. My cocktail was the Ember... something, it had mezcal and grapefruit, and the brightness of the citrus balanced well with the very smoky mezcal. The Rye & Roast was also very memorable - I likened it to a more masculine espresso martini. I'm not a huge brown liquor drinker but the rye paired very well with the borghetti espresso liqueur, there wasn't the typical bite. Can't wait to come back to try the food!
